Where do I start. We were stopped in Colorado Springs to see family from Washington state. We are full time nomads and have been to many mechanics through the country and this place just made the whole cake for us and the icing. We have been to a few mechanics in Wyoming, Washington, Florida and a couple other states trying to get a few issues diagnosed and no one was able to solve the problem and after thousands of dollars later we get blessed with this location that solved our issues. The customer service was amazing! 5 star quality and their communication which is what we all want when taking our vehicles in was top notch. The email systems they use to notify you of work being done when and how long it would take was amazing. My wife even considered driving back to Colorado if we ever have another issue lol. Ive had my engine replaced here among many other jobs and everytime they do a great job and at a fair price. They keep you updated along the whole process via text/email with pics and descriptions. Best customer service around hands down. Whatever you need done they got you covered! I Highly recommend and I never leave reviews but they go above and beyond so I had to.

Highly recommend! They were very professional, communicative, and prompt to get me on the schedule for brake work. Their shuttle was very helpful to get this done during the week. Patrick (shuttle driver) was very friendly and hospitable as he picked me up from work and drove me back to the shop. Matthew was very clear in communicating expectation, assessment process, and pricing. I recently bought a used 4Runner and took it to Airport Automotive to have them check it out. They looked at the brakes, tires, belts, filters and provided a status of all fluids. Im certain Im missing things they looked over. I received a prioritized list of some very minor, routine things to take care of in the future. I am completely satisfied with the work they did as well as their recommendations. I used to have a 99 Tacoma and would take it here for any issues it had. I highly recommend Airport Automotive if you have a Toyota product but for any other vehicle as well.

This is literally the best place to take your vehicle no matter the age. Its the only place we will trust with our vehicles. Great service, knowledgeable mechanics, and they take pics and videos to show you the issues and their work. They are quick and reliable. And give detailed information. They will tell you what should be fixed and what NEEDS to be fixed asap. So you can prioritize on a budget. We pay a little more than the mainstream places, but you get what you pay for.We have had horrible experiences with places like Mineke and a local transmission place that Im only not naming because we have a warranty through them from before we found Airport Automotive, so we are stuck with them for the transmission on my sons truck.We lived and learned and will never go anywhere else for automotive care and/or maintenance.You wont regret going to this place.

As a young female it’s so difficult to find shops that make me feel comfortable. These guys are great! They don’t talk down to you at all but will still explain everything in an understandable way. They offered me rides to and from my house, discussed pricing beforehand and didn’t sneak in any hidden fees. Got all the work done quickly and on time as well as for the best price I could find. They keep you updated on your car & have a great website where you can decide which concerns to get more information about and which to hold off on. They provided pictures of all diagnostic tests performed and explanations of how they got to their diagnosis, and finally they have a great 3 year/36k mile warranty.

I had just bought a newer used car from a small independent car lot. It looked good but it was pulling and sounded weird. I took the minivan to Airport Automotive for a through inspection and oil change. They looked it over and found multiple issues. I was sold a lemon 🍋 😕 They gave me a 26 page report with pictures and information. I was able to use the report to get the dealership agree to repair the van. 👌👍 I will definitely be using them for all of my future automotive needs. The staff is kind, knowledgeable, and through. Highly recommend!

Great service and friendly staff. They provide diagnostics for your car and send you the results with pictures and explanations to each diagnostic. Its a little pricey, but you definitely get what you pay for.

Excellent customer service. Both JD and Gary went above and beyond to repair my vehicle during a brief family visit to Colorado. They provided constant updates as to the status with pictures and followed up with phone calls to ensure I understood what they were doing and why. One of the parts ordered was delayed by the carrier and to ensure my trip was not completely ruined by the lack of a vehicle, JD and Gary provided a loaner car at no cost. And to top that, JD came in the morning of his day off on the weekend while they were closed simply to allow me to pick up my vehicle for the trip back home. They not only fixed the brakes and suspension issues, but they resolved a long-time issue with the brakes dragging. Great quality work as well. And then to close things off, both Gary and JD called and texted several days later just to make sure I made it home safe and that the vehicle was doing good. Gotta say, one of the best automotive repair experiences. Especially for an out-of-towner. Thank you Airport Automotive. Traveling home to NM from Nebraska, we had some vehicle trouble in Denver. Thankfully, we made it to our destination for the night, which was Colorado Springs. After looking at a few shops in the area, I chose Airport Automotive based on the reviews. I requested an appointment online and received a call from Matt the next morning to find out more info. I explained what had happened in Denver. He said I could bring my truck in & they could fit in among their appointments for the day, to inspect it. They provided a loaner car so that my nephews and I could do some sight seeing while we waited. The report they provided was detailed and easy to understand. Im so thankful to the staff here, for doing what they could to get us back on the road & safely back home. These guys are awesome! From the moment I walked in the front door, I could tell they cared about me, fixing my car, and helping me get on my way. Matt and JD were incredibly accommodating. They set me up with free wifi while I was waiting, offered free shuttle services anywhere I wished to go, gave me a loaner car when I told them I had some errands to do, and their transparency on labor, pricing, timelines, and the condition of my car was refreshing… Usually, I walk away from auto mechanics feeling like I just got ripped off, they’re in it just to make a profit, and I’ve even left a few auto shops with strong suspicions that they intentionally broke something just so they can charge me a premium to fix it. But NOT with Airport Auto! They addressed all my concerns, and even highlighted a problem I knew about, but didn’t mention to them. I felt they were completely honest and up front. I especially liked their online tool that allowed me to preview their findings, research, prices, etc. It gave me time to digest the bill and consult with my wife without pressure before talking to Matt for a verbal breakdown/clarifications. My car was towed to Airport Automotive as a AAA recommended shop. My car had multiple issues but I was given a detailed explanation of each service that was needed. Now, my car feels like its new and much safer to drive. I will definitely take my car back to Airport Automotive should it need future repair or maintenance.

Two visits, two separate charges. The problem was never solved and your shop still (somehow) couldnt manage to diagnose the issue.One visit to the dealership and they were perplexed as to why your shop couldnt just tell me that it was a thermostat right from the start. Instead you took me for labor costs and were prepared to have me come back a 3rd time to hopefully find the problem... Hundreds of dollars later.

I called JD on June 1st to get an appointment for my pickup, so we set up an appointment for June 3rd at 8:00.when I get there there is no appointment according to Matt I tell him I need a transmission fluid drain and filter change according to the trucks manufacturing specs which is dune at 60,000 miles I was 4000 short Matt says all I need is a fluid flush and not have filter changed I guess he knows more than the manufacturer does he calls me later and said it doesnt need a fluid flush because the fluid looked clean 2hrs. Later I get my truck and now I have to take it to someone else to do the job.

This is my first review and it’s because the team at Airport Automotive deserves it. I was in a minor accident with my two year old. I called them in hysterics and was so pleasantly surprised and relieved to reach JD, who had a very soothing demeanor and reassured me that they would do everything they possibly could to take care of my vehicle while I went home with my daughter. And that, he did. I was able to go straight home and keep my kiddo safe from the elements and exposures to COVID without ever stepping foot in their office. We have been using Airport Automotive to maintain our cars (Subaru and Toyota) for over 10 years and have always been very satisfied. They are very professional, providing detailed online reports of all inspection items that include explanations and photos, making it easy to understand what needs repaired. They are also the only shop I know of that will sometimes find NOTHING WRONG with your car. They do not invent work. They are great at regular maintenance and keep track of whats been fixed over time. They also provide free rides, loaner cars, or car pick-up, depending on what is needed. First time costumer. Came here after a recommendation from a co-worker. Came in for a code for an 02 sensor. They looked over everything in my truck and gave me a detailed, yet understandable explanation of what they found. The Report they E-mail you after their inspection was very thorough and gave me a confident grasp of the condition of my truck (Included pictures of problems areas and scans they ran). I found the price to be extremely reasonable considering their expertise and their very open communication. Did not feel like they were just trying to make stuff up to fix. I would recommend this place to anyone who has an issue that others places think they know the solution to. I have a lot of peace of mind and confidence in the reliability of the repairs performed. The only negative thing I could possibly say from my experience is that it did take 3 full days before I got the truck back, but Ill take quality over speed any day.

Came across this company in doing some research on service centers for my 2017 Mazda CX-9. Read reviews on multiple local shops and decided to take my vehicle to Airport Automotive. After dealing with the local dealership service center for the same problem for 8 months, finally decided to take my vehicle to a different shop to address the problem. Airport automotive was able to diagnose, identify and fix the problem in a matter of 24 hours. The dealership was not able to figure out what was causing the problem to my vehicle after more than 5-6 visits. The customer service, professionalism and quality of work at Airport Automotive far exceeded my expectations. I will be taking my vehicles to this shop from here on out. JD was awesome and extremely professional.

I recently had another good experience here. They replaced the starter and the 1994 jeep starts up like new!The staff is the best part of this business. They always treat me professionally but also like an old friend. The mechanics are skilled and take pride in their work, always going the extra mile to button things up. They have a free shuttle to take you where you need to go or pick you up, and they will even let you borrow a loaner car if you need one (assuming it isnt being used already) for free. They clean your car after they work on it at no charge. When you pay to do a diagnostic on your car, they send you a full bumper to bumper report that details the current state of every component in your vehicle, good or bad. If it needs work, the report details what needs to be done. Very informative! And finally, the pricing is fair, and I would probably say its more than fair. I wont take my old jeep anywhere else.

I loved that I was able to use a free loaner vehicle from them while I was in town visiting the sites. Strongly recommend if you are having car troubles in Colorado Springs.

I love my old truck- a beloved 1991 Toyota 4Runner with just shy of a quarter million miles. Its been through lots of adventures- including mishaps, accidents and even a new engine. I love working on my truck myself but alas my time is pretty scarce these days with two kids and my own business to run. I hate taking it to a shop mostly because it means I wont get to turn the wrenches myself. Then again, theres certainly massive peace of mind having Gary and his team at Airport Automotive put their hands on my truck. I wont lie, it breaks my heart to spend more money than Id like to have someone else work on my truck. But these guys are experts with knowledge far beyond my own and I trust them. You should trust them, too.Not to mention when I get my truck back after theyve worked on it theyve washed and detailed it and left me a thank you note on my seat with coupons for my next visit. It is refreshing that someone else values and appreciates my old truck as much as I do. These guys are TOP NOTCH.

I have not gotten a repair here, however i had to call for an insurance estimate, and whoever i spoke to was very honest and friendly and told me i might be better off taking it to his neighbors shop, but still offered to let me come by and look at it on a lift or anything i needed, and i really appreciate the kindness to a total stranger that probably was not going to make him any money. kind of rare these days. I will probably try to take my car here in the future.

As background, I have always been hesitant of taking my car into mechanical shops because of my previous experiences with any sort of car repair, tire, or mechanic. I was even more worried this time because I had to use a warranty on my car and I had no idea the process or how to get it started. I was pleasantly surprised.Matt was a top notch guy (not sure his job title) . First off, I called him and told him my situation and he made the entire process easy for me and also bent over backwards to get this done. He told me he didnt want to waste my time so before I even came in he made sure I was covered under my warranty and I can tell you the process of getting this squared away made my head spin and he quite literally took all of the work off of my back and onto his. I get frustrated when I have to ping pong between different companies and he did the ping ponging for me. I could not be more thankful. When I did come in he was very very professional, kind, and I felt 1000 times more comfortable than I have ever felt in any auto repair shop. He kept me updated and kept me in the loop through the entire process and I can tell he genuinely wanted to make sure I got exactly what I needed.Not to mention man are they FAST. LIKE SUPER SUPER EFFICIENT. I dropped my car off on a Thursday and expected to not see it again for a while. (I know different problems have different time frames). I picked my car back up on Friday after work and there it was working the way it should have been again.They also clean your car for you when theyre done. I know typically for most shops either theyll clean it or give you a voucher but man, it is SO nice to pick up your car and it looks better than when you dropped it off.Airport Automotive has gained a lifetime customer and I highly recommend anyone with vehicle issues to go here. I worked with Matt specifically, however the entire staff was very kind, understanding, proficient and whatever other positive customer service word you can think of, they check the box.You can stop your searching and just go on in here I can guarantee you wont be disappointed.

I’ve been taking 3 different vehicles here for the past 8 years and never had anything but great experiences with the team at Airport Automotive. Incredibly friendly, informative and professional.Couldn’t think of a better auto shop experience!

We received an estimate (oil cooler/filter housing replacement which we already knew was likely the problem) with lots of nice videos of needed repairs but no $ details on the breakdown of labor, parts, etc. We agreed on $1625 price tag for the work done and since it was so expensive, we asked to have a courtesy no cost rotation and oil change thrown in. The next business day, another $110 was added to the bill due to hoses they couldnt foresee being needing repair at time of diagnostic and we ended up paying $1735 including the fee for the oil! Not cool. (This sounds a lot like what happened to another reviewer who had planned to get their heater core replaced and were charged extra diagnostic fees).When an estimate is done, details should be given, including any potential added costs that may be incurred; if this is done, we can then make the decision whether or not to proceed with the repairs BEFORE the work is started. We explained this to Matt. We were already questioning the high $1625 price tag. Had we known beforehand the cost could potentially be more than that, we would have not agreed to have ANY work done (yet) and paid for only the diagnostic. And the fact that we were promised a courtesy oil change and rotation and the price of the oil was STILL charged to us, doesnt make for good business practices.On the plus side, we appreciated being given a ride to our home when the car was left at the garage and the delivery of the vehicle to our house once repairs were done.We cannot make any claims as to the quality of the work done yet, but will once time passes. However, this poor experience thus far, will result in no repeat business being done with them, unfortunately.

I appreciate them going out of their way to fix my heater after dropping my vehicle off on a busy day. Getting a free loaner car also made the process significantly more convenient. Friendly and helpful staff that give a damn, coupled with good workmanship. Heater works great.

I brought my vehicle in for repair after getting a false reading on my fuel gauge. I had just bought it used from a dealer so I asked them to inspect the entire car and fix everything because it is my personal work vehicle that I would depend on heavily. $4,500 dollars later I picked up my car with a new front drive Axel, timing belt kit, and a pick and pull fuel tank. I know I over paid but at the time I thought I was paying extra for honesty and quality.... This was not the case.Several days after I picked up my vehicle the front drive side ball joint separated while I was driving. Luckily I had just come off I 25 and there was no one injured.I expected them to fix the joint and any other damage caused to the vehicle during the accident. I expected this because of the fact that they had just replaced the front drive side Axel which involves working on the specific ball joint that failed.... This was not the case.After another 4 days without my work vehicle I was told that they would replace the joint but not fix any of the body damage or other mechanical damage from the accident.They claim the problem was pre-existing despite the fact they provided me a document stating my ball joints were in good working condition before they did any work. So before any work was performed the joints were good but after the work the joints were no good.The fact that their technicians disassembled the joint that failed while replacing the axel had nothing to do with that joint failing days later.It was a miserable experience. The service writer was polite initially telling me I had a great car and that it was worth the $4,500 in repairs. By the end he was rude, dismissive, and seemed surprised at my discontent making it seem like the vehicle was trash and that I should have expected this type of failure.I have spent thousands on this vehicle and after the work they performed I no longer feel safe driving it. At no point did they make any attempt to make up for their negligence other than replacing the part they broke.After picking up my vehicle for the second time I have a steering wheel that shakes and a reverberation when braking that was not present previously. Also I have paint missing from my door and front quarter panel along with all the things that are probably damaged that I cannot see.I now have to find another mechanic to inspect or redo everything they have touched because I simply do not trust their work.

Matt was very pleasant to work with. Always positive and smiling. Service with a smile. He only did the work that i asked to be done. And was never pushy lime some mechanics can be. I will be taking my vehicle to him again.

The fuel pump of my vehicle was broken, then we found that the fuel tank itself and other correlated accessories need to be replaced as well. However, the total charge would be too much beyond my budget. Finally, they figured out an alternative way which is more laboring but much cheaper and fixed my truck promptly. I would highly recommend this place for their professional work and sufficient communication with customers.

Update went in for next problem I had with my 1999 Toyota Camry for a speedometer reading that I was going 20 miles slower than what I actually was going. They weren’t able to find the problem this time not every situation turns out to be fixed that’s just the way the Automotive industry is unfortunately. But this is the best Automotive shop in town only my second time going there for service and I still wouldn’t want my vehicle to be worked on anywhere else. Airport Automotive is a well run clean facility. My technician was Guillermo and he did an excellent job installing a new engine in my truck. Guillermo was scheduled for vacation so he worked long days and completed the installation in a little over two days. During this time I received communication from Matthew and Guillermo with pictures videos and phone conversations. Airport Automotive has worked on my vehicles in the past ever I will continue to bring my vehicles for future service. Thank you to all for your dedication and excellent work

Awesome shop. Had to have my engine replaced. They did a wonderful job. The best thing about this shop is they really do pay attention to the small details. When the car was finished they had it cleaned and detailed. It’s just small thing like that will bring my business back. Matt was our service rep and kept us informed every step of the way. They send you status updates via txt messages and they also send you a link that details all the issues with pictures. So there is no question on what needs to be done! I took my vehicle to Airport Automotive for an oil leak. I was given an estimate on around $850 for an oil pan reseal as well as other work needed. I call back a few days later to check on it and was told that it would be an extra $200+ dollars for an oil change. It amazes me that an oil pan gasket reseal does not include filling the car back up with oil! The final resolution was for me to add the oil myself after the repair is complete and they are ok with that! I was looking for a reputable shop to have quality work done and unfortunately this is not the place! I am sure the work will be ok, but the customer service and trustability is absolutely terrible!!!

Dont give you the run around. Honest and keep you posted on what theyre doing with your car and what they find. It can be pricey but you are paying for the quality.

I had in a car Im buying for a safety inspection. They did a great detailed inspection with pictures and even video of what needs to be done. Matt walked me through everything after the inspection making sure I understood what was needed. He was a great help prioritizing the fixes

Matt and the team are always professional! In the automotive industry, it is sometimes difficult to find a business that will shoot you straight and not not overcharge you for thing you don’t need. They give a comprehensive diagnostic report that lets you know what might need serviced. I would highly recommend them!

First time in 10 years that I let anyone else touch any of my cars. This place is legit. Very thorough. Nice waiting room and they offer a shuttle. They take pictures of parts that are failing or about to fail to show you condition.

A complete inspection is done on your car every visit not only do they tell you whats wrong with you car they take pictures to show you whats going on with your car Clean and good work this is where you take your car when you need it fixed right. Very reasonable on pricing

Great shop that tells you the real deal about your car with correct estimates. They also gave me a ride home a picked me up when my car was ready, awesome service. Plus they have a great selection of old fashioned sodas that are free for customers. Definitely different than a typical car repair chain, very high quality and knowledge here, they take pride in their work.
