Went to store to learn how to use my new hot spot. They tested it and determined that it was an out-of-box failure and replaced it immediately. They also tested it immediately. We are leaving for a trip tomorrow and need it to run our business. Great service.

I placed an order at 8am this morning only to have to wait in the store for almost 2 hours and leave empty handed. Your store was fully aware there was an issue with the new Purple 12!!! Someone from the store should have call me and said we’re going to have cancel your order and manually enter due issues with SIMS!! This was beyond poor customer service both in the store and on the phone customer service!!! VERIZON IS STRAIGHT TRASH FOR THIS!!! I wish I could rate no star and apologizing doesn’t cover it!!! This was only supposed to take 30 minutes according to store rep but that was far from the case, my wife and girls sat in her truck for an hour and 30 minutes before I said just go home.

Our Service Specialist didnt know WTH he was talking about, and only half of the employees were wearing gloves when touching all over our devices. Either you all need to wear them or dont. I strongly believe Verizon should make a little more effort to help out customers whove been with them for 20+ years!! The ONLY great thing about Verizon is the coverage and signal strength when compared to others. The prices are way too high and the customer service has always been terrible...

I have gone to this store 2x already and each time I visited, I have been pleased with the service. It’s like they genuinely cared. They weren’t dismissive or just rushing me out the door.1st time I was having trouble transferring a line from someone else’s account to mine.2nd visit I was preparing to buy a brand new phone because I was having trouble with it but instead of being money hungry they looked at my account and asked why I didn’t want to use my insurance.That’s when I explained to them that the other Verizon store (authorized retailer near route 10 and Jefferson Davis) fed me some BS with a poor attitude and told me my phone was not insured and sent me on a goose chase for tech support.This REAL Verizon store saved the day.
The phone call is to much making me press 1,000 buttons just to ask a simple question that takes 1 second but other than that they are nice in store

Verizon was awesome. They were very impressive about social distancing between customers and with wearing masks and they followed all the proper protocol for the virus rules and they were very nice and patient with helping me with my prepaid phone issues.

The store was under construction, busy, and quite organized. I walked in and had a wonderful experience. The manager provided me with directions as soon as I walked in. I was in and out within 20 minutes. The associate was able to simply LOOK at my phone and determine what I needed. Im happy with my purchase although I didnt want to pay $30 for a new charger. The charger works exceptionally well for my phone. Thanks!
There are 3 Verizon locations around town. Ive visited 2. I like the 2 Ive visited but one the best because I have Verizon Fios Internet and I can pay my bill there. No money order, no stamp. Great for me.
An update to my post. I had an unpleasant experience with an employee with customer service. The management team reached out to me and showed genuine concern for my disappointment as a customer and ensured to see to it that I was given fair treatment and engaged all my concerns. They won back my confidence through a great employee who not only knows her job forwards and backwards but ensures to listen to you and put you the customer first. That is Ms. Jackie. If you are going to this store, ask for Ms. Jackie. She is a wonderful person who cares about her job and her customers. Thank you Ms. Jackie for taking the time to explain to me and my wife about the different plans, phones and accessories and looking out for our best interest.
Busy store, but we didnt have a long wait. Staff were nice & helped us with what we needed. Even though staff changes frequently they have always been helpful. Not enough seats for people to sit while waiting though. Also, it would be nice if the accessories for phones had a sign designating which phones they were for over the section that they are in. Other than that, store is a good one to go to when you need help, etc.
This has only been my second visit to this particular store. Joel gave excellent customer service. He was professional, friendly and above all knowledgeable.
Looking for donations for a nonprofit organization (Church) employee would not even take the time to talk to me about it.Employee would not give me information how to contact anyone who can help with this.I asked to talk to manger. I was told I didnt need to. The manger could not help me
Staff was very friendly, efficient and offered suggestions as to prevent the 35 mile drive in the future. Service was quite fast and to the point, I was in and out in a matter of a few minutes, even though I had to return and exchange equipment. No problems at all on this visit.

Yesterday, my son and I visited this store. Im very familiar with this stores previous reputation and concur with previous opinions. In fact, several years ago, I left Verizon due to similar issues and inconsistent billing. However, surprisingly, Yesterday, the greeter on duty, Miss Rogers, signed us in. Being no other customers arrived, she opted to assist us. Ms. Rogers, asked pertinent information regarding the family, purposes, and amount of the device needed. Ms. Rogers, was uncertain regarding a few questions presented. She researched the questions and provided the appropriate answers with documented proof of validation. Ms. Rogers, provided instructions on each device to ensure we were familiar, prior to our departure. It was very obvious, Ms. Rogers, is very well trained and very knowledgeable, as it relates to Cellular devices. Ms. Rogers, is a great benefit and asset to Version Wireless. This store should utilize Ms. Rogers, in training other staff as it relates to customer service, customer support and professionalism.
The staff is super friendly, when it isnt Black Friday, fairly easy to just get whatever you need and then be on your way satisfied with your visit
Im about to drop 2 phone lines after Christmas. They couldnt replaced the battery in one of the cell phone expect me to get another one. And couldnt transfer a tablet phone line to another tablet I guess it wasnt verizon brand. That is why I dropped my phone line with them and went with Cricket wouldnt give me a better deal. After the contract with my husbands cell, I will be done with Verizon.
If youre going there to start a new plan & purchase a phone(s) they are all smiles, friendly, & are eager to help you. If youre an existing Verizon customer, they dont want to deal with you. They rudely give a very short explanation of why they cant help you and then walk away. Ive had representatives stop me at the door & send me away on multiple occasions. They tell me things like... you need to call Verizons 800# because there is nothing anyone here in the store can do to assist you. I only go there after calling Verizons 800# and a representative tells me I need to go to the store & speak with someone. The store rep tells me I need to call the 800# again.The store offers no help at all! Customer service reps at the 800# are helpful and pleasant to speak with.The employees at this store location only want to interact with 2 types of people: individuals who may become NEW Verizon customers, or interact with current Verizon customers who are renewing their plan & spending $ to come inside!Stinks to drive 30 minutes for such an unpleasant waste of time, but it is the only Official Verizon Store in the area.

Ive been in here a few times in just the past month and everyone has always been pleasant and very helpful! Naturally it was a little busy, seeing as I went during lunch, but the longest I waited was less than 15 minutes. They were very willing to help me understand what I was buying, and very helpful in giving me information since it was my first time setting up my own account! They tolerated all of my dumb questions and I left feeling very satisfied!

You gotta go where you gotta go. Some employees are great, others, well, not so great. Some will explain everything to you happily while others expect you to know and understand everything already. If I did, I wouldnt be asking questions. Some dress professionally, others look like.... 🤔 Its always crazy busy. You gotta go where you gotta go.
I have been with Verizon well over a decade and sometimes I wonder why. Two of my relatives are older and on fixed incomes. Every time I come to visit, I contact Verizon to see if I can get them a better deal. Ive done this for 2 years so they gave permission to Verizon to speak to me and I created a pin. We walked into this Verizon store and the handheld said that I was not on the account and they couldnt speak to me. So I got on the store phone, waiting 15 minutes for a representative, who told me the same thing. Theres got to be a way around that.

The store itself isn’t bad, but wow! I almost had to ask for another sales person. Deon needs to go to customer service school! He was so rude to my mom! She’s in her 60s and was trying to decide on which phone to get. If you’re spending close to $1,000.00 you want to be sure you like the product! They weren’t busy. They didn’t have anyone waiting, but yet he acted like he had no time to help her. We will never go back to this location! From now on we will take our business to Forest Hill where the customer service is AMAZING!!

They said they dont carry batteries for cellphones either.The person tried to get me to buy a phone but I bought my phone from Walmart.Much cheaper.I didnt call you ppl to buy a phone.Try to talk me into buying a phone.I use ur prepaid services but Im not buying no cellphone from you or a service plan.I know its ur job to try to get ppl to buy something from you but ur to expensive for me.Thanks anyway
Well, walking into the store was the only decent part of this experience; I wish I could put 0 stars.We upgraded a phone on our account and then my husband and daughter wanted to swap phones. We were told on the phone prior to buying the phone online to pick up in store that everything would be handled in the store including our phone swap. LOL. The customer service associate that ‘helped’ us was unconcerned with our problems stating that they don’t provide services such as swapping phones or transferring information in the store and told us to do it at home. We agreed and left.Hours later at home we go to our Verizon account and go to switch phones and it says ‘SIM card not compatible’ so we spend over an hour talking to or waiting on hold with Verizon. The woman on the phone was very kind and helpful and got our number switched but nothing on our phones. We signed into our individual iClouds and it didn’t work as said. My husbands pictures are gone and my daughters notes didn’t transfer over. However, their calendars merged somehow in this process.All these problems we face now would not be present had we gotten ANY ounce of help or direction at Verizon in Colonial Heights VA. If you want to buy a phone, talk to someone about a problem or especially if you need assistance I would NOT recommend this Verizon.
The staff know their phones. The phones are outrageously priced, but similarly priced elsewhere. Do not buy your accessories there. A single tempered glass screen protector was $34.99. I purchased a 3 pack from Amazon for $7.99 while I was at Verizon. I purchased my case from Amazon as well.

I felt more like an inconvenience than someone that was considered a customer. I waited 15 to 20 minutes before anyone acknowledged after checking in. The gentleman that helped man rolled his eyes and was more interested in selling me stuff I specifically said I was not interested in. I walked out and went straight to T-Mobile and got what I needed with the help that I should have gotten here. Im a customer of both retailers one a business customer and one a personal.

Manager has very poor customer service skills and lacks the ability to help customers, and would rather walk away and hde in the back. they will sell you information that remains in old phones they do not disassemble phones they just resell them
Went in tonight and there were 2 customers in there ahead of me. 2 of the employees were helping them. I saw 5 other employees standing around talking and playing on their phones. I continued to wait. Another customer walked in and was helped while I continued to wait. After about 15 minutes of waiting someone came over and helped me. I could have been out of there a lot sooner if the employees helped customers as much as they stand around and use their phones....

These are some of the rudest customer service people I have ever encountered .I dont go in there much but when I do I try to make it as quick as possible.....unless your actually buying something those minions are selling theres not much help there.How are you the highest priced and the rudest at the same time..pretty disgusting.

Very friendly, and helpful staff. When I got my new phone a few months ago, I needed help transferring everything from my old cell to my new one. The associate not only showed me how and what to do, but helped me out with every single thing when I got confused. Im not very technically inclined (if you will.) The associate was also very patient with me. I was in the store for about an hour, and we had a very nice conversation while the phones were synching up, and transferring everything over. Even though it didnt get finished at the store, he made sure that I knew what I was doing. He showed me step by step, and wanted to be sure that I knew how to do everything myself before I left the store, so I was able to finish synching the phones when I got home. I highly recommend this store!
The lady that helped me was really kind. I went in on a Saturday morning and all the employees made sure to check up on us time wise, to let us know they hadnt forgotten
The greeter at the door was cool. I had to wait a bit to be helped in which the staff was not very helpful. He sent me to best buy telling me they had a Samsung tech there but they did not. They have a Samsung consultant. I will just call in to Verizon when necessary as the phone customer service reps are much more helpful.

Typical cell phone store. We had over a 45 minute wait. With an estimated 38 minutes to go we told a salesman we were going to run out and be right back. Returned 15-20 minutes later to find ourselves off the waiting list. Had to get back on and wait a while longer. Took our money and gave us the services/phones we wanted. Great selection of the latest phones and cases, but the store is perfectly un-exceptional.
Get new phone and no setup. Here take it home and use Samsung smart switch. Get home from Verizon and try to setup and asks for account pin? Verizon use to setup our phones, dont know what pin they used in past? Now spending time on phone w/customer service? Thx Verizon!
I dont love it or even want to go there, but when I do need the assistance I will admit that the service I received was quick, and on point. The technician even corrected a few more problems I was having with my phone. The service was outstanding.
On weekends theres a considerable wait to be helped as is to be expected, so the best time to go if you need help other than bill pay is during weekdays. The staff greets you as soon as you arrive and add you to the que.The people Ive been helped by have been very Knowledgeable about verizons products & plans. On my last visit, my issue was solved quickly & efficiently by a friendly young man

I went in today to purchase a phone with my mom and for myself on our business account. We dealt with Emile who was more concerned with his commission quota than to be nuisanced with customer service or doing what is ethically in the clients best interest. He was pushy with accessories even going as far as concealing the box which held the invisible glass for the iphone XR that he placed personally on my moms moto z4. After inspection I saw that the screen protector was ill fitting for the phone. Emile became very rude and stated the the screen protector for the Xr was compatible and if I had a problem that he could take it off and credit the account and that we had 30 days to return it. What should have transpired (if he were an honest individual) was he explain that Verizon was not currently carrying the invisible glass protectors for the Z4. I was fuming and not wanting to make a scene. I asked my mom if she was ok in the mean time with the screen protector not meeting the lip of the screen as it should. She was being nice and not liking the environment that was created in saying something. I did not stick around to get my line upgraded. We found properly fitting screen protectors for 7 dollars on Amazon. That is not how you conduct business.

I have been in this store multiple times. Each time was a different day of the week, different time of the day. The wait time is outrageous. When I went to upgrade my phone last month, I had to wait over 20 minutes. Then, I was charged for a free tablet I got with my upgrade and went back into the store with the bill in hand. I had to wait over an hour just to see someone. The gentleman assured me he would take care of it. Well, he never did. I called corporate today and they couldnt do the credit for me because it was promised by the store. They contacted the store directly and connected me to who I thought was a manager. Nope. The managers were all with customers and they would have to call me back. That was three hours ago.
We have always gotten our problem resolved quickly here. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable.

Upgrading my phone turned into a fight for my life! I visited this store on April 15th to upgrade one of my phones. I thought all was well until I got an email at home stating they had ordered the wrong phone. I went back within 30 minutes and no one knew what to do. They said they couldnt cancel the order (found out later they could). They said they needed to FedEx tracking order so they could cancel the order. The next day I gave the manager the tracking number (they never cancelled the order, I had to call FedEx myself and cancel it.) But it gets better! That Monday, when I was talking to them about the tracking number they left my account open on one of their monitors. That is when another employee charged me for someone elses carrying case! (I didnt know about this until my bill came. It took 2 calls from the 800 number customer service to the store to get rid of these charges, PLUS the upgrade fee for a phone I never got! You cant make this up!) Meanwhile, while waiting for the phone to make its way back to Verizon, I got a call from another store manager who told me that I should accept the wrong phone and send it back using a label they will send to me. Oh no! I told her that I was not going to do that because someone is going to think I accepted it and would be charged for the upgrade fee AND the restock fee. The bottom line is that it took almost a month to get back to square one. Also, during that time the phone I wanted originally that was a free upgrade is now $50. I also told the 800 customer service line that I wanted the stores district manager to call me. I am still waiting for that call.... Also, during this entire cluster, the store manager told me that I would get the phone I wanted for the price originally offered (free) and they would waive the upgrade fee. Im still waiting on that one, too. But I would rather they wouldnt touch my phones or account considering the ordeal they put me through.
The service was pretty good the phone service is better.
The person who assisted me was not too interested in my problem. (Faulty charger, purchased only a few months ago). I guess if they arent making a big sale they really dont care. He kept looking at the clock, or out the door. His body language said it all...your issue is not worth my time.

My experience today was awful! I went in on my lunch break to ask about an issue with my phone there were Verizon workers just walking around not helping anyone, then two people were helped who arrived AFTER me. I will travel OUT OF MY WAY to Richmond in hopes of better service!!!!
I had terrible issues with my phone and I took Verizon. A man named Joel helped me & he made the process of figuring out the trouble less aggravating than Id expected having bein frustrated before I went.He was very friendly and professional. He was also incredibly knowledgeable about solutions and Verizons products. He did all that he could to fix my phone but was unable. He offered me several options and I went with replacing mine & my wifes phones. ( They were 4year old HTC1s and we got Samsung galaxy 9S÷) very happy with the new phones .He also helped me with sending my old phone back and since it was under warranty I got a brand new galaxy 7 for my daughter !! If you dont live bear this Verizon store, make the drive. !!!
