Ever since purchasing my 2002 Honda Accord, they have been AMAZING. They don’t overcharge or do anything without letting you know. The wait is never really that long. I am 21 years old and although I have family teaching me about my car, Goodyear is just as reliable and I recommend this company to anyone and everyone.

The 2 guys at the front desk were really friendly and were honest about which maintenance services my car definitely needed and explained which ones I should get but werent necessarily immediate safety issues. The staff also seemed to prioritize appointments over walk-ins, which I appreciated! Lobby was clean and has a tv, so the wait didnt feel very long.

Thank you to Troy and Jaylon for exceptional and fast service. All the calls I made in surrounding areas and this was the only place who would take care of immediately. I enjoyed chillin with you all until my service was complete.

Came into the Goodyear store looking for some help my tire low light had come on. I was on my way home from work it was right at 5 pm when they close but they took me right in anyways and the staff was wonderful and made sure I was safe and taken care of . Best off all they had to repair a nail hole and did it free of charge. I 1000% recommend this location for anyone who has automotive needs

Courteous, responsive, professional people.We were traveling North heading South when the engine performance warning light 💡 went on. Immediately we pulled off of I-95S somewhere in Virginia. Unsure, apprehensive and nervous. It was an early Saturday afternoon when many dealerships and services stations were either booked or closed. When we called the Good Year, located on 1703 Blvd., Colonial Heights, VA., Jaylon Rodney, Customer Advisor, listened, cared and told us that they were busy but to come in. When we arrived Jaylon was busy however he took time to welcome us! Thank you Jaylon! Troy Madry, Store Manager, professionally diagnosed the cars issue. Willard Evans, Service Manager, immediately called around to locate the part. Unfortunately the part would not be available until Monday. We left late that afternoon with confidence that we were in good hands with these professional men at Good Year. Monday morning, Will called us before we called them! They had the part! The car was fixed in an efficient timely manner! As this is being written we are safely back on I-95S heading home with confidence. Our experience exceeded our expectations. Completely unprofessional, I brought in my wife’s vehicle around 1230 for a scheduled appointment. Around 3:45 I called and was told that the vehicle was in the shop and close to being finished, so I headed back to pick it up. We get there and find out the vehicle hasn’t even been moved yet from where it was parked this morning. Joe told me he was “sorry and it will get done before 5.” Precision Tune Auto care would never.

I used to really like coming to this shop. However I spent $400 for an inspection I apparently needed brakes and rotors, I sat in there from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. waiting just for an inspection. Then my car started misfiring 2 days later so I made an appointment for a tune-up. When I got there I sat there for 4 hours just for them to tell me they only have one mechanic that does that and he is on vacation the rest of the week and wanted to charge me over $500 for a tune-up. The only thing on the paper that shows anything about a tune up was spark plugs they also added things on there that is not a part of a tune-up to make the price go up. I refused the service. Will never go back again, very disappointed!!!

Want to save money but still receive quality work go here. Given a $1700 quote at a dealership and Goodyear did it for $900.

Wonderful experience for a first time customer and first time driver

Extremely overpriced. They will charge you over double the price for parts. Make sure to check around and research the cost of the parts being replaced. Other shops will also provide you with up to 2 year warranties on parts so do not fall for that. They will perform good work on your car, but you can find lower prices at any other shop. Expect to wait at least 1 hour after your appointment time for them to begin work on your car.

I had a brake job done by another shop. At 4:10 pm on. Friday, only two days after the work, my brakes were making tremendous noise (clicking, grinding and squalling). I called the shop that did the work knowing they closed a 5 pm. To my surprise, they were closing right then .... WOW. We were told to go to this Goodyear Auto shop. They were completely booked and could not get us in until 12 the next day. My wife and I were scheduled to be back in Florida on that day just prior to Hurricane Isaias. The Goodyear lead jumped through hoops to get us in right then. They fixed the problem and I was on my way by 5:15. Awesome service and attention to detail.

I was on my way to Georgia this past week and realized I had a nail in my tires sidewall. I was already over 3 hours into my trip and frantic. I eventually made it here expecting the worse. I ended up working mainly with Taz as he looked up my warranty information and checked to see if they had the tire I needed in stock. Luckily, they had the tire! I was told to bring my car back around 11:30. They were able to fit me in and get me back on the road before 1 (when they told me originally when I called that it could have been as late as 5). I was so grateful they were able to fit me in and replace my tire.

They only do walk-ins for inspections and it’s SUPPOSED to be first come first serve. I have a 2 y/o so I dropped it off as soon as they opened. They said it was #4 on the list promised it would be done before 12. They never inspected it. I will never return.

Had an appointment at 12:30 for new tires . As I set In the waiting rom with mask 😷 on because or COVID 19 and hour went by and my vehicle wasn’t even in the shop yet . It was where I parked it. Ask what is taking so long they said they were taking it back now . Two and half hours later and three other customers were waited on and left . I asked where is my vehicle. Once again I was told almost finished. Finally my vehicle was brought out . When I got home and parked it since I only drive this vehicle for groceries or small trips I noticed my front passenger tire was low. Now today is almost completely flat . I live 45 miles away from this Goodyear . So now I have to figure out how to fix my flat and return to this location to fix it .

I had apt at 4:00 for oil change..Got there at 3:55..checked in immediately..waited till 5:00..they still hadnt taken my car back..So, I decided to make another apt for next Mon at 2:30..And I left..hoping I wont have to wait too long next week..but man behind the counter was nice.

Very dodgy. I do all of my own vehicle maintenance and repairs except certain things like wheel alignments since I dont have a $15,000 alignment machine. Took my vehicle in to have the alignment checked and while I was waiting, the guy that seemed to be handling the front of the shop kept trying to up-sell a lady in the waiting area on unnecessary things. He kept telling her that if she didnt get her HVAC system spray cleaned on a regular basis, it would grow black mold in her car vents and make her and her family sick. Strike #1: preying on customers fears. He also told her that the discounted price for this service was only good for that day. Strike #2: beware any fast talking salesperson who tries to tell you that a deal is good for today only. When he came and told me my vehicle was out of alignment, I told him I was just looking for quotes today and just wanted a print out of the results of the alignment check and a print out of a quote to have it aligned. He tried to tell me that an alignment would only take 10 minutes and that he could do a better price if I got the service today. Strike #3: a good alignment takes close to an hour to get it right. I declined his offer and he told me that it would take a little while to get my car back since it has to be unhooked from the machine. This is semi-true, but I have my suspicions that this was more of a cover up for shady activity to happen rather than a genuine communication about the status of my vehicle. Either way, 3 strikes and your out in my book, especially if your strikes are due to intentional conduct rather than a forgivable mistake.

Probably the best national chain style mechanic shop I have been to. Very helpful and didn’t feel pressured into buying the tire I needed. They brought me to the back to show me why they couldn’t fix the tire. They came as low on the replacement tire as possible. Definitely appreciate the trustworthy type feeling I get from this Goodyear which is rare to have when talking about mechanic shops. If I need any other services while stationed at Fort Lee I will be brining my vehicles here.

I bought tires from these guys (at a far better price than anyone else in the area) a couple years ago. Lucky for me, I just had a bit of an emergency situation with a blowout from hitting a curb just down the street and rushed to get my blown tire on the rim to these guys about 5 minutes before they closed. I really didnt want to leave my truck sitting on a jack overnight in the area but figured since they were about to close, that was gonna be the more-than-likely option. Fortunately they took it right back and had me a new tire mounted and balanced in about 15 minutes.Definitely going back when its time to replace again.

I have been going to this Goodyear location for quite a few years with several vehicles. I trust them with my personal as well as with my work vehicles. They are nice, upfront folks that will get your automobile back to you in much better shape than when you dropped it off. Thanks for all of the help Taz and crew!!

Taz and Tim are very pleasant to deal with. They are very trustworthy and never pressure you into buying their services. The plus side to all of this is that when they do tell you that something is majorly wrong with your vehicle, you know its true and their prices are better than most private Goodyear dealers. I have referred so many people to them.

Salesmen was clever, good tactics. Got me to get an alignment. Thats the reason for the 2 stars.HOWEVER, the alignment was screwed. Even after a 92$ charge, car STILL veeres to the right, even worse than before.. take your car to a different shop and pass this one.Taking it to a dealership to fix their mistake. Dont want them touching my car again.

Went to these guys 5 months ago for an oil change, not only did it take 3 hours but they wore out the drain pin so that the next oil change I got, the guys couldnt tighten it.This is going to cost me a ton to fix because they have to remove the whole pan. Thanks

For convenience sake, I decided to get an oil change here 2 months ago since it was close to work. I waited an hour before inquiring about my vehicle. I was told it was being worked on. After two and a half hours, I asked the manager to have my vehicle ready in fifteen minutes because I had to go to work. It took about twenty minutes.Two months later, as I arrived home to my garage, I noticed oil on the floor. I check my oil level and the crankcase is nearly empty. I take my vehicle to a local auto shop and they tells me the filter was slightly loose but the drain plug was only finger finger-tight. I came back this shop and asked the manager for a refund for service performed at the local shop. He was reluctant and unconcerned about my plight, denying any responsibility. He says anything could happen in 4000 miles. I said, true but usually the drain plug and filter are my least worries. I was a regular customer but no more.

I went in for a free alignment check and told them I have an odd noise and I have had it diagnosed elsewhere. They re-diagnosed the problem and beat other prices I had quoted. I LOVED their service. When you call they say, how can I earn your business today? They mean it.

Called about a tire for my boat trailer. Was told that the tire was in stock. Drove 30 minutes to the facility. Spoke to the same gentleman as before and he completed my paperwork. I sat in the lobby for 10 minutes or so, all the while thinking my tire was being put on the wheel that I brought them. He returned to inform me that they in fact did NOT have the tire in their inventory. I stated that if I had known that, I wouldnt have wasted my time driving in. All he could say is that he was aggravated that a $110.00 dollar tire was missing from his inventory. Said he would order it and have it in the next day. Once this work is complete I will never return, nor refer anyone to this place.

Went in for inspection. They were very friendly and filled my windshield washer reservoir at no charge. In and out in less than an hour.
