La Gabriella exceeded expectations!!! I have been in CStat for 4 years, and am HEARTBROKEN that Im just now trying this place. The coffee is so unique and tasty; I got the baklava latte and my boyfriend got the Mayan Royal. Both of these drinks had incredible flavors, especially my boyfriends, which was spicy!!? The pastries used fresh ingredients, with the lemon blueberry loaf having actual blueberries instead of dried. The Mayan chocolate bread was a fantastic consistency and had just enough chocolate. I highly recommend this small, locally-owned shop, which is filled with Guatemalan pride and love!!

Amazing experience! The cafe is so quaint and friendly. The staff is welcoming, accommodating, and over-all very sweet. There is a limit of 5 customers at a time but there are tables outside to sit and enjoy your drink and food. Speaking of which, the food is phenomenal! The sandwiches are always warm, tasty, and made to order! The coffee choices are endless and you can customize most drinks like adding a flavor pump or substituting your milk. Also, the staff wears masks at all times (from what I can tell) and they encourage social distancing. The only downsides are that 1; the wait is a bit long and 2; there are no public bathrooms. However, please take these downsides with a grain of salt and understanding because there is a global pandemic right now and know that every item is made to order. In conclusion, this cafe is very comfortable, warm, and welcoming. I encourage you to visit because its so lovely and the food and drinks are so tasty!

Absolutely amazing little coffee shop, hands-down one of my favorite places in BCS! Coffee is great, prices are great, and the pastries are divine! They also sell little handmade beaded hummingbirds and other cool handmade items, my new hummingbird looks great hanging from my car mirror. :)Ambience is really nice, and they have a wall set up for pictures. If you want a guaranteed shot at a pastry get there before 11am or you may not get one!

My brother and I visited on a Saturday morning, grabbed two pastries and two coffees. Both coffees were an espresso based drink, one iced latte and one iced americano. Im not an expert in any way in coffee, just a regular guy, making coffee at home. No experience in tasting, or making. But I can tell the difference between light vs dark, Ethiopian vs Columbian, etc.Coffee:The espresso was a lighter roast than the usual variety you find at Starbucks or some other shops. I dont know if this is the usual beans they use, but the coffee had some sour notes up front with a darker notes at the end.I wanted lactose free milk, but they didnt have that option. They had the usual soy, whole, skim, oat, and etc. Lactose free is cow milk, except the lactose has been taken out. Not a big deal since my lactose intolerance isnt too severe, I ended up getting the whole milk with my latte. Since the roast is light for the espresso, the sour notes still come through in the latte. Not my favorite for a latte, but favorite for many others out there.Pastries:We tried two pastries: Apple and Cream Cheese pie, and Chocolate Mayan. The puff pastry is flaky and buttery on the pie, and the chocolate Mayan was a delightfully dense bread/roll with layers of chocolate. I only had a bite, so I couldnt quite tell if the chocolate was Nutella or a something of their own creation. Perfect combination with a cup of coffee, but likely better paired with a non-sweet coffee.Final Verdict: I would bring my own coffee since the beans werent exactly to my liking, but thats not a negative in any way. Coffee can be very personal. The two pastries we tried were very good, and we would love to come back and grab some occasionally.

La Gabriella? More like La FAB-riella. You should first know that their drinks/pastries/service is way better than my jokes. They have both familiar baked selections and some very unique (and tasty!) items as well. Their drinks are also very good. One must note that if youre looking for the super-syrupy-sweet sort of drink, this might not be ideal for you. For me, however, its delightful and refreshing. The staff is SO fun and kind, and really make going there all the better. The crowds I see each time I go is just a testament to their quality. Their baked goods arent great for vegans, but their drinks are. Vegetarians should get by just fine, though. Cannot speak to other dietary restrictions. However, theyre so good- definitely worth a shot!

This little jewel of a Coffeeshop/Bakery is my favorite place like this in the Bryan/College Station area. I have been going here for awhile and plan on sitting at one the tables out front with an iced coffee soon. I love their scones and they other artsy things inside.I feel comfortable inside because they have taken covid19 precautions. The staff is very polite and did I mention they make the best scones? Lol Today I bought 3 blueberry scones and a beautiful multi color humming bird to hand from mirror in my car. If you have never been here, please check them out. This is independent buisness and we should support them in anyway we can. Peace, TonyK

Ive been going to this little shop for years and I love it. The staff are second to none in regards to genuine service, and their coffee is amazing. For such a small shop, they have a huge variety of options. Try the Royal Mayan Mocha or the Honey Nut Latte, both my favorites. Their sweet bread is amazing as well. I also find myself looking at their decor a lot! There are a lot of comic book decorations, particularly Batman stuff, and I love it!
