I visited this coffee lounge today for the first time this afternoon and really enjoyed my time there. The location was right next to the fitness club (Planet Fitness) I worked out at this morning, there was ample parking, good location in College Station (Texas A&M country!), the outside of the place was interesting & simple, catchy name, I was welcomed upon entering, the employee who took my order was friendly and polite, the coffee & egg, sausage, and cheese croissant were delicious and reasonably priced, plenty of seating (social distanced, a good vibe in the place, clean dining room, many beverage and food choices, many available power sockets, bright because of many windows, two big rooms, and very good WiFi. When I was leaving the young woman employee behind the counter wished me a blessed day! Love it!
Decent cortado. Nice friendly staff
I’ve been here a few times before and it’s been good. Today I got the iced latte with sf Irish cream flavor and I don’t know if the recipe is wrong or something, but there was too much sweetener in it and it tasted overly sweet, sour, and vegetal all at the same time. Went home and added another shot, a splash of cream, and a squirt of chocolate syrup to it and now it tastes better.
They had a great selection of coffees and a lot of different flavors. They didnt have a matcha latte though. The environment was clean and really aesthetic. It was conjoined with some other places (that were mostly empty) so there was a large availability of chairs/outlets, so it was really good to study in (for small groups / alone). It was also really quiet and they had couches and chairs so it was comfortable. The coffee itself was REALLY good too. I got a lavender latte and it was smooth and appropriately sweet. The worker was nice and they have a drive through which is convenient. The only downside is that the whole complex is right next to the highway so the location is a little suspicious. But other than that it was a really good experience. Also the van Gogh theme was implemented cleanly with the theme of the complex and into the menu.
The service was great. They were very friendly. We had the coffee flights, yummy! Well definitely go back!
I am officially addicted to their Blossom coffee drink. I’m pretty sure it’s what coffee taste like in Heaven! And the baristas are always super friendly. Keep up the fabulous work!
Im not the biggest fan of sugary drinks, highly recommend their lattes and the cortado. The coffee taste amazing and the milk adds a smooth creamy texture.
Vin Cinn is the best coffee in town. Bar none. The owners are super passionate about what they do and it shows. I’d sure like to have a beer with the owners. They work tirelessly to make sure their quality and service is there and for that I am loyal.
Great place to get coffee and support a local small business. Their lattes with oat milk are way better than Starbucks in my opinion. Oh and one pump of mocha. So yummy!
Fabulous lavender latte - Its my routine morning pick-me-up!
My favorite coffee is Artisans’ Revival, and my treat is homemade lemon bars.
Just ordered a hazelnut latte and instead received a lukewarm cinnamon latte that tasted watery. I used to really like this place so Im not sure what happened
Amazing food and drinks! The new location is in the same parking lot as my job so it makes it so much easier to get coffee than having to drive to Starbucks. This place is also so much better than Starbucks.
Really nice and quite place for students. Tried white mocha espresso ☕️ was really good. 👍
Good place to chill & study! Friend & I come about twice a week and we usually have good experiences. I usually order a hazelnut latte and my friend usually gets a vanilla latte and a croissant. We think my friend got food poisoning once from their croissants. The staff is cool and real nice, but the owners are a little less friendly.
After Gogh Gogh took over Lupas Coffee, the quality of drinks and food has plummeted. Its sad to see new management not caring about the quality of their coffee. I had a Vanilla Latte, and it tasted watered down (odd since it is only coffee and milk, no water!)Nice workers and a good place to study! Just a sad turnover of new management :(
Coffee isnt so great. Espresso drinks taste kind of flat and their house specialties arent anything to write home about. Having nitro cold brew is nice though. We got some of the zeitmans bagels and they tasted kind of old? Maybe just a one off visit though.
A cute little coffee shop worth the stop in to see the lovely.decor. The coffee is good too#
My husband and I ordered the Italian panini and it was delicious! The service was also very professional, polite and timely. I ordered a cappuccino and requested it to be just a little bit less than the normal temperature and the barista made it perfectly. Thank you so very much! We will definitely be back!😊🌻💕
Excellent beverages and location. Topped off with great service
Wow!! Just WOW!!! The coffee and service here are so far beyond incredible! probably some of the best coffee I have ever had! It is smooth, flavorful, and delicious! Not too sweet and not too bitter!! Just perfect! my coworkers and I tried the starry night, the blossom and the bullet coffee and all of them were amazing! I highly recommend and I will be back for sure!!!
Cute little coffee shop! I’m a huge fan of the chocolate chocolate chunk muffin. The starry night latte is a real crowd pleaser! They also carry non dairy milks!
Staff is friendly and coffee is good.
Ever since Lupas Coffee was purchased by Gogh Gogh, the quality of their drinks and service has degraded significantly. Gogh Gogh fired all of the old baristas (from Lupas) and brought in their own people who arent as friendly. Consider other coffee shops in town.
Great, subtle place to study with good teas
They have the best bulletproof coffee!
I dont know about any of the food. However, I have had the coffee mutiple times on the way to work. This might be the worst coffee in town. Just go to Harvest if you are looking for a good local place.
I’m from Washington state and have high standards for coffee as a result of growing up there. Consequently, I’ve been disappointed by many of the coffee places in this area. However, after my first visit here, I’ve decided this might be my new go-to coffee place in BCS. Good coffee and very friendly baristas.
Great coffee and service. Try one of their Blueberry muffins with lemon filling. They are the best.
Good people good coffee
Nice theme, needs a lot of work. Two large white mocha lattes. Forgot the syrup on first one and had to stir it in. The second he put in the milk and steamed it. Two different methods, neither correct.Milk not steamed to Temp, only guessed and it was not close. Warm at best.I swear he forgot espresso because it was like drinking warm milk.Neither had enough syrup to begin with. The jug was out, the guy even said are we out so he pumped a couple times, got a few spits of syrup out and called it good enough.Poured both out.
Thus place is so cool! Great coffee drinks and a peaceful atmosphere. Super nice baristas, too.
When I lived in College Station I would sometimes work out of here - I loved their creativeness when it cam to coffee and donuts. All of the windows and natural light was great and I felt more comfortable working out of there than a cramped loud starbucks.
Very slow service, coffee was terrible and had grinds in it. Cool place to hangout but terrible coffee and terrible service.
My favorite coffee shop!! Great sugar free options!
Good drinks, friendly staff, and decent pricing
Best latte I have had in a long time! Starbucks has nothing on these guys. Give your money to local, hardworking people and businesses! Short drive through line and excellent service. Found my new go to!
This is a very nice coffee shop to visit in the College Station/Bryan area! I ordered an iced coffee, and it was very delicious. I would definitely recommend this place, and be sure to bring a laptop or something to study because there are lots of seats and areas to hang out!
Good coffee and friendly staff. I definitely recommend for people wanting local coffee. It doesn’t really have the typical coffee shop feel because the costumer space is essentially situated in the lobby of the building.
Well slap me and call me George, but HOLY HECK this place is delicious! I am a die hard Starbucks girl, but I tried this today after hearing about it on Facebook. I have had both the Vin Cinnamon and the Starry Night and they are both AHMAZING.
This place has amazing coffee!! I always leave very pleased!
Little too sweet sometimes but good coffee. Would be 5 stars but they sometimes close randomly way before their scheduled closing time. And ya know your boy needs that coffee.
Great coffee and great service! Staff was friendly and knowledgeable, my new favorite stop for Lyft morning pick-me-up!
Delicious coffee, but terrible in terms of keeping customers and staff safe during the pandemic. Staff were not wearing masks, and they required a signature for the receipt, which involved passing a clipboard to the customer. It did not appear that they sanitized the pen or clipboard in between customers.
Out of almost everything on the menu. Like muffins. Finally got our order, found out one of the muffins was one of the ones they said they were out of. And the coffee was lukewarm. Update: this is the location in South College Station. I reviewed the other location separately.
Just got a mocha and was very impressed! Loved the atmosphere! The sweetness in the chocolate syrup is perfect! The two guys working there today were wonderful as well. Highly recommend, even if youre not in the area
The chocolate croissant was amazing
Great tasting coffee. Large open seating area with lots of natural Sunlight. Not as much seating as other places with same sq ft, but lends to a peaceful.atmosphere. I feel like I can have a conversation there without having someone evesdropping by accident. Staff are friendly and helpful. As far as I know no one has ever been arrested there just because they were hanging out, so thats a plus. Bathrooms are really nice. Two thumbs up!
The coffee was good. However I was a little disappointed with the pastries, the croissant I ordered tasted to be at least a day old. The coffee was decent. There was one staff on a Tuesday morning during the time after school drops offs.Im willing to go back again and try something else because Ive heard great things.
I love this little coffee shop! A friend told me about it and since my first visit, I have become a morning regular... It is hard to start my morning without getting my favorite coffee drink and visiting the awesome staff. Love this place! Thanks Guys for such great service :)
This coffee was good!! I loved Starry night cold or hot!
One of the many java upstarts in College Station. Just an average cup of Joe. I can get a better cup from my generic breakfast blend and Mr. Coffee.
It’s nice but ALWAYS out of decaf. We moved here last year and this has happened to me at least half a dozen times. Kinda silly on a staple for a coffee shop. I think I’m done
Coffee? Top 3 in townLocation? Pretty chillBut the bathrooms? Nicest bathrooms in the cityDont sleep on Gogh Gogh
Quality coffee and the drive thru is very convenient. One star lost simply because it is pricey. 🤑
My go-to place in College Station for coffee -- great house drip and fast service.
The service is good and the lattes are fantastic. They make their own syrup, I highly recommend the lavender latte. They have various coffee drinks, some alcohol, and a limited selection of baked goods.
The phone number they have listed on google never works...
I used to stop by Gogh Gogh almost every day before work. Last week, I went through the drive thru and tried to pay for my $3 coffee with a brand new visa gift card. I waited for a long while after handing my card over. Eventually, the guy came back and said he wasn’t able to run the card due to issues they were having with WiFi. He was really nice about it and I went on about my day without thinking twice about it. A few days later, I tried to use the gift card somewhere else and was told the balance was only $2. After logging in online, I saw $250 worth of charges made just a couple of days after trying to use the card at Gogh Gogh. Super disappointing to know someone there stole the card info. After mentioning to my husband, he said he experienced something similar recently at Gogh Gogh. We won’t be returning. If you do go, pay in cash because apparently there are dishonest people working here.
Excellent espresso
Great service! Delicious coffee and a fast drive through. They also have special deals going on throughout the week. Great for date night if you want to try wine, great for study time because coffee!
I like their cold brew.
This is a great place to grab coffee and work/study. They have quite a bit of seating, enough for 30+ people. Their cappuccinos are really good and they typically have a good selection of beers on tap for a really good value too.
Lavender cold brew was delicious!
The Midnight Cafe was great! It’s a delightful mix of hazelnut and chocolate. The baristas Avery and Holten were so sweet too. I enjoyed the style of the place with the wood bar tops and draft beers on tap. Would definitely come back again.
Coffee and Beer! And on top of that, this is one of about 3 places in College Station to fill growlers. The staff is always friendly and have really good suggestions. So if youre like me and you dont know what you want, they do.
Wish you opened earlier during the week.
Friendly staff, good coffee. Wish the hours went a little later though
Great coffee and study spot!
They have the best coffee in town! The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. Its right off the highway so its easy to get to as well. We went on a weekend afternoon and it wasnt busy at all but I have no idea how busy it is/isnt during the week.
Coffee was good, a little outta the way but worth it. Staff disappointed a bit.
Im a barista myselft, so I tend to be very particular about my coffee. I got the mint cold brew. The mint was very subtle and the cold brew was perfect. So much less astringent than the over brewed cold brew Starbucks so often produces. The atmosphere was very open and relaxing. Tables were very spaced out allowing for good conversation with just enough privacy. Definitely would recommend
Look no further for a great BCS coffeeshop! Beautiful, open atmosphere and very friendly and welcoming staff. The perfect environment to study or work remotely. Last but most certainly not least, absolutely delicious coffee. I personally recommend the pumpkin spice latte!
Coffee was so good and atmosphere is chill. If youre an artist youll love this place too!!!
Really enjoy this shop.. either early morning coffee dates with friends or date night with hubby. Very fun
Gogh Gogh Coffee Co. is a local coffee shop that is dedicated to bringing craft coffee, tasty pastries as well as local beer and wine to the BCS area. The seating area blends into the lobby of the South College Station Real Estate Gallery Building, so the vibe is very professional and modern. They stock Kai’s Doughnuts, making the much loved local sweets available to the South College Station crowd.
Good coffee, SUPER friendly baristas. Perfect location on the way into town for work, and a nice well-lit, comfortable seating area. Stop by for good coffee and doughnuts, or stay a while and get some work done in a refreshing space. Too late in the day for coffee? Try out one of the beers they have on tap or one of their custom cocktails!
Baristas are friendly, knowledgable, and creative. They give great suggestions for trying something new, both in the way of beer and coffee. Never had something I didnt like, and Im the type to order the same boring thing every time! Doesnt feel like a college-student rat hole. Lots of windows, good light, and clean bathrooms. A+.
Pretty good coffee, friendly staff, not much seating. Its in the building with a real estate office and the sound travels. The nice thing it that its far enough away from campus that there arent a crazy amount of students studying here.
Great people and coffee.
Oh my oh my. New favorite coffee shop Im BCS area. The menu is limited right now but have no fear they are continuing to expand it. The coffee is exceptional, and have a variety of donuts to satisfy your sweet tooth. Edit: just tried the coffee on nitro. Its absolutely amazing. So much flavor with a beautiful creamy texture.
Pretty consistent espresso drinks. One of my most favorite shops in BCS. Im grateful for the drive thru line. I enjoy their caramel macchiato and their iced vanilla lavender lattes.
Gogh Gogh offers great coffee from Avoca and is doing there best to increase product variability. There coffee is great and so are its workers. The location is not though. Little seating for students. The best thing in my opinion they offer is drive thru capability
One of the best coffee I had in college station. Really nice place if you like a quite ambience.
I love coffee shops this was a little akward because it is inside a reality office, you kind of feel like you are disturbing someone, but they have good coffee. Great treats.
I really liked it here. Very pricey, but they were nice enough to split our drink for us. The drink was a Resees Frappe. Sooo delicious.
Love the mural, friendly baristas, and study spots!
Relaxing place. Good place to study, especially since from what I can tell it is never as packed as places like Sweet Eugenes.
Good coffee and reasonable prices
Stopped on the way to a swim meet and ordered the iced coffee with flavor and cream. It was the most bitter, disgusting coffee I have ever had. It looked like diarrhea They also didnt have breakfast items other than donuts. Whats the point??? Went to Starbucks and had them throw out the offensive coffee which was also more expensive. Never going back. It thats what being hip means i will stay uncool.
Great quality and love the donuts. Would benefit from an expanded menu on the espresso bev. side though.
Great coffee shop and bar. They always have a good selection beers and coffee that is excellent quality.
Lowe on the gogh was so delicious had to turn around for another one! and a great beer line, you can even get beer to gogh!
The baristas are really friendly and nice but this place is stinkin’ sloooow. It wasn’t busy at all when I went and I still waited 15 minutes for a pour over. Hopefully they can improve best practices with managing in store and drive thru. I can’t imagine what it would be like if it were busy. Spilled my coffee when I got to my car so I didn’t get to try it but the tea was good.
