After a rock hit my windshield, i called the same morning around 9 am. They walked me through the process and communicated with my insurance. By noon the technician came, fixed the crack, without me needing to be there. I had to double check the windshield as I no longer could see the crack.

My car had numerous new issues when I returned, including a new dent in the hood. The car is brand new and there were new (tiny) scratches all over. They did not take good care in the shop. The front desk ladies are great but that cant make up for the issues. I still have been waiting (weeks after) for a follow-up on repair of the dent and a new frame because the one they put on did not sit correctly. My car was also incredibly dirty in the trunk when I picked it up. They also missed the frame not being attached... 3 timesUpdate: the ownership called me and wanted to make things right. They did a good job on making sure everything was taken care of this time around and paid for a car rental for the day. I thank them for trying to make things right

Excellent customer service, reasonably priced and job well done 😊. Duke arrived on time and installed the windshield right in front of my house. The glass withstood a heavy downpour just two hours after installation.

The staff was nice and friendly and they walked me through the estimate process and told me what I need to do next to get the car fixed. So far Im very pleased with them.

This is by far the worst collision center I have been to. My car was in an accident and was towed here and the timeline for my car being done was always the next day. Needless to say my car was ready 5 days after they said it would be done… my rear right car door was in an accident and they fixed the door but no one thought of trying to open the door to see if it would open. It didn’t open once I checked when I was home. Now back in the shop yet again that should of been taken care of the first time. As I await my car being ready I watch the employees and they drive the customers cars recklessly and without any caution I seen the guy almost get into an accident with someone (blue bmw 428i). I will not recommend this place to anyone’s refer anyone. Do better as a company.

There are a few light scratches on my Subaru back trunk. A technician got rid of them in 10 minutes. The store just was opened in the morning. Its amazing. I highly recommend this place. The technician is an African American. He is very nice and helpful. He has very good skill on how to fix the scratches on the car. Thank you very much for your help.

Car not clean. Work was not completed to standard. Had to leave the car for them to complete work that should have been done. Would not recommend and will not use again.

They are truly the BEST and most honest people around! I bought a truck this year that had some frame corrosion that wasn’t detected in Maryland and Virginia inspections. Toyota wouldn’t help and Everyone was trying not to touch my truck or trying to sell me a new frame but Matt and the guys at Gerber was very honest and went above and beyond to get me back on track for a fraction of what others was trying to overcharge me! That’s why I been using them for over 15 years! Thanks again!!!

Took my car in to get a small dent on the side removed, they got me in within the week, helped with the claim, and got my car back to me within 24 hours looking like nothing happened. Matt and the team are super friendly, would definitely come here again!

10 out of 10 from start to finish great work done would recommend 100% I own a 2014 Dodge Challenger, and have a hard time trusting anyone with her repairs but this place would be one I would return too, for any future repairs or needs.

Beyond expectation. One of great qualities about Gerber was the communication level. Gerber communicated daily thru text informing me of the status of my vehicle. I didnt have to call daily to ask what the status was on my return. Did I mention great customer service, Amber and Amy was professional and courteous. When I picked up my vehicle, there was several professional workers who spoke with me about some concerns I had non-related to the service provided about my car. Came a couple of weeks ago to fix up my vehicle. The estimation process was fast & productive, a very kind lady assissted me and everything went as scheduled. I’ve used this place a few times over the last 20 years for body work. (Even before it was Gerber) My fiancé and I both had rear end damage on our vehicles. Having worked in a body shop when I was younger I was impressed with the work done and turnaround time to get it back. I’ve recommended them to a few friends. Hopefully I won’t need to go back there but if I do, I know it’ll be good work.

They fixed the entire front end of my vehicle when I was in an accident and the work was beautiful and quick. They did a great job of keeping me up to date on where they were with the work and when my vehicle would be ready. On the other end of the spectrum, I need the hinges on my rear window replaced and not knowing where to go, I called them. They fit me in on the same day (I just expected them to look at it) and got it taken care of quickly. They are friendly and helpful. I highly recommend them!

Had a piece of body trim pop loose. I stopped in with no appointment to get an estimate. The manager looked at it and took it in to be fixed immediately. The staff were all courteous. I recommend this shop and will return with any future repair needs!

The service was great. From beginning to the end of the process, management and the staff were very helpful and hospitable. I turned my truck in on a Friday and had it back NLT the following Tuesday. They did a wonderful job fixing the damages and even went the extra mile to fix my flat tire by plugging and putting it back on free of charge.

Used Gerber College Park in Mar 2020. Very easy and clear to deal with, with the process and timeframe etc discussed at the outset. Responsive and clear over the phone, and well organized. Work (fixing of crushed door panel) was completed quickly and without any problem, and went the extra mile to blend neighboring paint etc. Would definitely use them again.

I came here to get a scratch buffed out of my VW and Jennifer was EXCEPTIONAL!She was extremely courteous, knowledgeable, prompt, and pleasant with handling my car’s deep scratch and removing it instantaneously.She made me feel right at home and valued as a customer! These folks did excellent work! After a bad run-in with some wildlife they fixed up our car and it looks brand new. It did take a bit longer than they originally estimated (about a week longer), but we werent in a rush, fortunately.They were very proactive in communicating the progress of the repair, we only had to reach out to contact them once—they were usually giving us updates, which was very helpful.

These guys went above and beyond to get our van looking great. Having been bumped into, the door and front of the car was damaged badly, now it sparkling clean and looks like its right out the factory door. I would certainly recommend these guys if you need work done on your vehicle.

This place offers 5 star service all across the board. My 2014 Tacoma had a run in with a hefty deer and it was heavily damaged. When I called to ask about their services I was met with a very friendly and knowledgable person (unfortunately Im not great with names).This was an insurance claim and they worked with them like clockwork, advised me through every step and the tech Ted made my truck look like it just came of the showroom floor. I was very impressed with care I received and I will recommend this place to everyone!I cant thank them enough for the service which was better than I received from 5 star hotels.

I brought my truck to them for repair about seven weeks ago. Although it took a really long time for my truck to get done (it had about $6,000 worth of damage) they did an awesome job on the vehicle. They really went above and beyond with the repair. My truck came back cleaner than it went away, they took the time to vacuum the interior and to wipe everything down. The customer service was excellent, and everyone was super kind. They earned a life long customer from me.

Jennifer and especially Matt made sure everything was 100% painless. I was thoroughly impressed with the repairs, frequent updates and the staff members friendliness and professionalism. I will be returning in the future!

Came in to inquire if some issues I noticed with my front bumper were covered by their Lifetime warranty. Matt was extremely helpful and fixed the issue quickly. Highly recommend this place, especially for USAA members.

I would have given this Gerber Collision & Glass at College Park, MD, a Zero, but giving one star, since they did some work, although very lousy. First, it was my mistake that I took my BMW 525i for bumper repair in their shop on my insurance recommendation (in their words preferred shop), instead to a BMW body repair shop. They did a very poor repair work in my car and on top of that, damaged the headlight bulb, which I pointed out at the time of pick up and noticed damaged battery connectors caps (in my BMW the battery is in the trunk) later. The person, who handled my car repair is now making false stories with my insurance company that they didnt do any repair work in the front bumper and headlight is in the front, but they forgot that they have given a written estimate for rear & front bumper repairs. To cut the story short, I believe, they are the worst body shop in town, although they claim they have branches all over the nation, but to me it looks like a franchise and managed by the local shop owner(s). Because, I asked this question to the estimator and instead of answering my question, he replied: its a good question and honestly speaking, I dont know the answer. I recently moved from out of state to Maryland and took my car to this body shop without doing some research, since it was on my way to work. The car paint is bulging out and looks like some learner did the paint work. They removed the reflective lights in rear bumper and put patches, which looks ugly and the justification was, since those lights were not available, they decided to replace with the patches unless, they buy a new bumper. The question is why you would do the lousy work by doing this way. When I took my car for headlight repair, since I had to get it done to pass the inspection for registering in MD, the mechanic told me who repaired your car as its very poor quality work. GREAT EXPERIENCE! THE LESION: DO NOT GO TO THESE TYPE OF SHOPS FOR YOUR CAR REPAIR, BUT TO A REPUTABLE ONE.

They stay open till 530 but wont give you an estimate at 4:45 because its getting dark.Please keep in mind, this was about as minimal of body damage as possible… Paint work only, no dents or damage structurally whatsoeverIt was very obvious the employee just didnt want to work. If Im having a hard time with you before you get my money… Good luck getting service afterward. Just my two cents

They were extremely helpful and up front with times and repairs. They were professional and worked hard to get the job done. I had a small gap in work while a part was on order and saw that the paint on the bumper did not dry correctly. They fixed the bumper without a question. They back their work and really take care of their customers. The insurance company did not cover all of my rental even though we saved them money by taking the car back to wait for the part, but gerber took on the rental bill without question. I actually found out via Enterprise. I highly recommend getting your work done at Gerber Collision.

Run away from this place. To fix a small damage and two dents on my car they gave me an estimate of $3800. Labor 39 hours. For 39 hours you can repaint the hole car.Other body shop quoted me between $500 and $800.This place is a joke!

I was in a hit and run accident two weeks ago and my insurance recommended Gerber Collison and Glass in my area. The tow truck took my car to the location and left it over night. I went in the mornong and brought thr keys ( because I kept them). I was sore from the accident and a little angry from the hit and run. I was greeted by Don and he immediately did his best to make me feel welcomed. He smiled and had tons of empathy. It really helped because. I was never in an accident like this before and if felt a bit overwhelmed. I was as nice as I could be and the people Jennifer and Ray were helpful as well. Don gave me an estimate of two weeks and 13 days later I had Gracie back! My car was not just fixed but it was CLEAN AND SHINY. This was also very unexpected. The staff was friendly and engaging and also nice. Accidents, insurances companies and paperwork are irritating but they made me feel individually cared for and not another unfortunate car owner. I would gladly bring my car back of some person hits my car again!

I chose this particular repair shop based on the good reviews however, i will never give them my business or recommend them to anyone that i know. I got my 2015 Honda repaired here at this shop, at first it seemed to go pretty well. However, this location is flawed in many ways. I asked to be updated daily in my repairs, that did not take place and when they did call they failed to leave a message. I informed them of everything that was wrong with the vehicle in regards to the claim and they STILL failed. I will be returning next week with some concerns i have with my vehicle while it was in their possession. I was informed Wednesday September 13 2018 thay my vehicle was ready for pick, however when i picked the vehicle up on September 14, 2018 on my lunch break the vehicle was NOT READY! Matthew Cooper who is the supervisor did not properly oversee the techs that worked on my car! I had white residue on the driver side of my car when i showed up, the driverseat was wet due to them doing a glass and water detail (which in my years of driving never heard of) that morning, my car was NOT washed at all on the outside, i turned on my car and every light on the dashboard was on. I was aware that the company did a glass clean up ( i had glass in my vents so they drop the dashboard to get the glass out) however now i have a strange sound coming from my dashboard. I called Amy, the estimator, back out to see whats wrong with my car she tried to make it seem as if their was something wrong with my suspension before giving issue over to the supervisor Matthew Cooper. He did not give the best customer service at all while speaking to him, he kept interupping me and would not let me speak at all. I was trying to Express to him my concerns with my car and he dropped every excuse possible to make it seem like i dont know what was the issue with my car. I told him about the lights on the dash, the residue left on my car thats STILL on my car, a particular part that was replaced on the vehicle is scratched! And the wedge from the breaking of my car is still there which means they did not properly excess the vehicle. Also, i told the company that i was on my lunch hour to pick up my car it should have been a grab and go process after my deductible was paid however i had to wait an additional one hour. Then the company tried to set me back into a rental, i was going to end up paying for! Going back and forth with them was too much. This made me extremely late going back to work and i shouldnt have had to use my leave in what should have been a simple process. I am extremely disappointed and felt the job was rushed.

This is a good place to do body work on your accident vehicle, as for Matt. the adjuster.

He was a true professional. Not only did Gerber assist me in a timely manner, but they also did a great job communicating to me all the issues with my vehicle. They continuosly kept me up to date throughout the process. I enjoyed their proactive business approach which i truly appreciated. Overall, I definitely reccomend Gerber Collision and will go back in the future.
