Great alternative to the prices next door at Ron Jon. But this place is not as organized, you may take a moment finding something you love. The employees here are just as helpful though if not more. The store has bathing suits, outdoor gear, trinkets, souvenirs, sandals, and a beautiful tank in the middle with eels and fish that even adults stand to gawk at all day. Ill be back next time im in cocoa beach. There was a review about mistreatment of the eels they looked fine while I was there but they are very territorial so I wouldnt be surprised that they fight over food or space.

I visited today and was extremely sad to see that one of the moray eels in the tank was badly cut up and bleeding in multiple spots and getting bit by the other smaller fish in the tank. It looked stressed and uncomfortable and although the shopping is great here sure, I’m just curious about the care of the animals?? Is there something being done to treat this poor guy/girl?

I went shopping excited and found an aquarium with large fishes and two small sharks, are you serious? They must be free !! not enclosed, in unsuitable conditions and in such a small space. I was completely scared by this place, there is no love for animals, just for their display

Today I bought my first surfboard and absolutely LOVE it! The manager, Mike, was very helpful and gave me a crash course on caring for my board. Highly recommend! Plus, the Cocoa Beach Pier was a great place to try it!

Have “comparison” shopped between Ron Jons many times. Have made purchases based on a few dollar savings but still will return to Ron Jons for the variety and selection. Interior retail appears to have low inventory every time I visit with very little staff to help. There are discount racks to look through but not much of a discount. Will continue to recommend a visit to guests staying at Vrbo 4749786 in Cape Canaveral.

As soon as we entered, an employee came up and asked to pet Monty (which he always loves!). Some of the product stands are close together so we don’t recommend for more rambunctious dogs, but if they behave well on a leash like Monty it’s a great store to visit!

Excellent customer service. A guy/associate walked me to the building that has the wax of my choice. The cashier was very friendly in that section.

Great place. We are on vacation and this will be my third visit. Good food, big portions, great price. Loved the gator!

Cheaper than Ron Jon but not as big It Has a cool aquarium with eels sharks and other fish.

Rented two E bikes today. First one would not work. Then the other didn’t have back brakes. The staff had no clue how the E bikes operates. The bikes need some maintenance. They look like they have not been washed off since they were brand new. The sand on the bikes was so thick. I hope they do some maintenance before someone gets hurt.

Jody helped me buy my first surfboard. At first I didn’t want to get a longer board but eventually I listened and bought one. I took my new board out as soon as I bought it and I am beyond grateful for jodys expertise and help. Word to wise listen to Jody because she knows what she’s talking about

My family just visited CBSC in April for my kids to get surf lessons from Gina. It was our 2nd lesson with Gina & she was just a really great instructor and so much fun! I highly recommend Gina if youre taking surf lessons! We cant wait to come back to shop & surf!!!

Great place to get souvenirs from a beach visit. Just browsing through the store is fun. They have lots of neat stuff from surf boards to towels and t shirts. They have beach essentials like suntan lotion and sun screen too. You cannot miss the aquarium that must be the size of a residential swimming pool. It is in a clear glass cylinder that must be 10 feet deep if not more. At least one shark swims gracefully around a central reef that houses a great variety of colorful, tropical fish. Kids love it and I do too!

One of the Moray eels has been here for a while and none of the retail workers care enough todo anything about it. None wanted to make calls to the correct authority and showed no empathy for this poor animal.

This review is for John, the surf instructor who went out with my 7 and 8 year old boys for their first time surfing. What a cool guy, so good with kiddos, patient, made them feel like they were doing it, laughed with them, lessened their fears and was an all around nice guy. The 7 year old even got up once. We did a one hour lesson and will be back to do more. They provide the wet suits and boards, FYI. As to the store itself, plenty of clothes, gear, etc but things seem to be about half the price of Ron Jon’s next door. Thanks again, John!!!

We just love the Surf Company. Bought two (2) quality t-shirts for $12.95 EACH. Name one place on earth you can get good t-shirts for that price. $25, $28, $29.95, yeah. But $12.95? Always loved this store.

Good surf lessons for kids. My 8 year old daughter loved it. They don’t start or stop on time, but make the time up to you. If you’re an adult, come before or after summer for better waves.

I took a private surf lesson from cbsc surf school and found the shop staff and instructor (CARLOS) easy to work with. The instructor was extremely knowledgeable, patient, and respectful. He made the lesson simple and explained things well. Ive sample and observed other surf schools for lessons for myself as well as for my daughter and they were good but Cocoa Beach Surf Company was by far the most thorough. The instructor went up and above. Best price too especially for private lessons.

There is no rocket science in surfing. Any surfing school would do just fine. However, the trainers seems nice and genial. Most importantly they have a reasonable price for thief lessons as compared to others around. I would recommend this for their price value.

Doesnt have that same touristy feel like their neighbors. If you want some good stuff without being a billboard for a brand, check this place out! I got some of my favorite board-shorts here for good prices.

Cocoa Beach Surf Co is a fun store with lots of clothes, surf goods, and souvenir type items. The store is clean and the staff is knowledgeable and friendly. They have a really cool huge fish tank with tropical fish and sharks! I recommend stopping in and checking it out!

Everyone was friendly and helpful.They have anything a person could need or want in order to go out to the beach...they even have a Starbucks and a restaurant.You could easily go in for a few mins and come out an hour later.Its a big place, just go in there and take a look around.They have a huge fish tank with a moray eel and 2 black-tip reef sharks.

I like the store but I was trying on hats from different locations and I had to walk to the North Entrance every time to find a little mirror. Saw a necklace but no mirror. Found a hoodie but no mirror.Im no marketing specialist but Id have to say if they had four full length mirrors in each corner of the store they would be surprised what would happen with something so simple. Otherwise if you want to briefly see what something may look like bring your own mirror.

The place is amazing! I took a 2 hour surf lesson and the instructor was amazing. If youre looking to learn how to surf, this is definitely the place. They had me surfing in no time.

We called CBSC to inquire about lessons for our 3 kids ages 20, 18,and 16. Mike at the front desk gave us advice on what would be the best date to come out for beginners and was spot on. The instructor was named Tyson and he did an outstanding job. He had the kids up and riding in the 1st half hour of a 3 hours session. The service, price and friendliness was top notch. My kids are from Milwaukee WI and until Monday had never surfed. It was one of the highlights of their vacation.

I love there location and their prices. The people who worked there were awesome too.

The service was bad because the employee was rude. I am 14 years old and I was looking at the skimboards and I looked at the price and they were $94. I could easily afford this as I have worked all summer and have money saved up. Then the guy looked at me and said There are cheaper ones in the store next door. I guess he was assuming I am a teenager so I dont have enough money, well I do, and I am taking my business elsewhere.

Certainly a cool place to stop in and kill time looking around, but like most stores in Cocoa, its way overpriced. Tourists and out-of-towners should be aware that you can find alot of this stuff in the other much cheaper gift stores nearby.

CBSC takes care of their customers. They took care of us. We are from Ohio, and they could have left us out to dry after we had problems with a purchase. But they didnt, they took great care of us and made things right even though they didnt have to. They have earned a life long customer and we will not spend $$$ anywhere else for surf equipment or wear next time we are in Cocoa Beach... which is a phenomenal resort town, BTW.Sorry Ron Jons, price, value, service... You guys are good.... but CBSC absolutely RULES! CBSC knows customer service and that is all that matters!!!

Tried twice to buy a beer here and couldnt get service. Waitresses would look at me and walk to the back. Phone Woodring and no one would answer it the people working here suck.

Typically what youd expect from this type of store. It has a restaurant and store bucks all crammed into a hotel lobby which is kinda weird. Nothing here really caught my eye.

The stuff here is good quality, but some of the stuff is kind of overpriced.

Sell the same things everyone within 2 blocks does, but for twice the price.
