I recently had to take my car in for a recall for the ignition coils. Everything went smoothly. The staff, especially the greeter was very nice. It took a little over 2 hours. I was only surprised that they didn’t run it through the car wash. Every time I’ve had servicing in the past, they run it through the car wash and it’s such a nice treat. I purposely didn’t wash my car the week before because of it. Otherwise, it was a great experience.
The people at Subaru Hunt Valley do a thorough job, and explain what they are doing and why. I have been bringing my car back to the dealership for service since I bought the car almost 7 years ago, and will likely continue to do so.

Best service every-time we come to Subaru hunt valley. We are always greeted warmly, told in detail what services we will get and how long it will take. My husband loves the relaxing lounge where he can work and drink coffee. We get updates and are not left to wonder. I often have to bring my toddler with me and the location is family friendly with a kid corner with games, crayons and children content tv. The staff is kind and supportive. Before I bought my car from this business I used to dread getting my car fixed or checked. Now I’m always calm and content and have no worries or anxiety. I always leave feeling safe and happy. I just bought a 2018 VW Golf from Autonation Subaru Hunt Valley. I could not have had a better car buying experience. I got a fabulous price, below the Kelly Blue Book value, for a car that was virtually brand new. A car detailer looking under the hood said that he had never seen such a clean used car. The test drive, the title transfer, the financing, all went smoothly, had been carefully planned in advance and went off without a hitch. They also took care of returning my rental car from the insurance company! I didn’t have to lift a finger! Purchased a 2021 Subaru Ascent in October 2021. The process was easy and straight forward. We got all of the information from the dealership prior to going to their site so we knew exactly what our cost would be.We didnt get a lot of high pressure sales for extra stuff, once we said that we werent interested, they moved on.There was a bottleneck in the finance department due to illness, but Larry was very apologetic and got us through the process as quickly as he could, unfortunately there was a several hour delay.Additionally, where other dealerships were adding significant Market Value Adjustments (as much as $7,500) to their vehicles, this dealership did not.It was worth the one hour drive to save thousands of dollars.
90% of the time buying a used car really sucks. However, at AutoNation Hunt Valley everything went really great. I inquired about a car through AutoTrader and was contacted via email (as was my indicated preferred means) and not by phone by Don. He was very friendly and responsive and not at all pushy. Long story short, I was so confident in Don and AutoNation that I didnt bother with a test drive. They processed the payment and paperwork quickly and with zero hassle. My confidence was rewarded with a really excellent, clean vehicle at a decent price.

Bought my 21 WRX from here and absolutely loved the staff, the response times were great, nor were they pushy on calls or pressuring into packages or add on. Banchi even showed me how to connect blue tooth before I left the lot, not to add they have sent numerous check ins to see how my experience has been. The Finance personnel worked to help get me a payment in my desired budget range.I was pleased from start to finish.
Took my 2021 Suburu in for first scheduled oil change. I appreciated that the service writer stated I would not need a tire rotation due to my lack of mileage. The dealership offers a vacuum and run through the car wash as part of the experience but my car had a rotten odor after ward that took 2 days to dissipate. Also the vacuuming and car wash were sup par and they did not do a very good job. I would rather pay a little extra to have the option of a competent clean rather than have a half done job. The wait lounge is very nice with amenities.
The service and repair work were excellent. Our only problem was the total lack of communication for about 24 hours. There would be a delay for a part to come in. Fine but no one called to tell us. We had to call repeatedly over a matter of hours just to get basic information. All of our anxiety and exasperation could have been so easily relieved if only someone had called us!! This happened on 2 different days.....
I dropped my car off overnight without an appointment because my rear brakes and rotors were in dire need of attention. My car was serviced first thing the next morning by Justin, and I had my car back by 2 PM that same day! I recommend Subarus to everyone that I know, and I always recommend that they service their Subaru at the Hunt Valley dealership because of Justins phenomenal service. 10/10
Very efficient! Easy to make an appointment. I was promptly greeted. The car was ready— serviced and washed in just a little over an hour as promised.George, my service writer, made certain to write on the service agreement that I requested No Sanitizer! I have allergies associated with fragrances that could trigger an unfavorable breathing reaction.Although George wrote this down, my car was sanitized. Fortunately the odor was somewhat mild, and I drove with the windows open on my way home. You should be much more careful about requests relating to allergies. Thank you.
Took my 2017 Forester in for A/C condenser recall. Drop off was smooth and professional, received my loaner vehicle and headed to work. Came back at 4:00 and picked up my car with the A/C functioning at full capacity. Was pleasantly surprised that they washed it and vacuumed the interior as well. Great service, very happy!

We arrived on time and our servicing began immediately. The estimated service time was 1 hour and 15 minutes and the actual time was probably 15 minutes or so. Having it finished early was a nice surprise. Trevor, who was the rep we met with and was in charge of the servicing, was very nice and was a pleasure to work with. Overall, it was a great experience.
Great service, comfortable waiting area, even able to sit at a desk and do my work while waiting. I have multiple protection plans on my vehicle and even though I forgot to give it to my service adviser at first, he was pleasant and got one of my tires covered by the warranty. I will be back :)
Overall the experience was a good one. The sales staff is friendly and helpful. There was a problem with contract. After calling about the mistake, it was corrected quickly. I would recommend this dealership to family and friends.

I have gone to AutoNation Subaru Hunt Valley twice since moving to Maryland and both times have been superb! First time was for a 12,000 mile service and second was for two recalls on my Crosstrek. The staff is super friendly and attentive. The waiting room was very nice too. My service was completed professionally, affordably, and quickly. I have already recommended them to others and I will return as well.

After having my Outback towed to the dealership I had the pleasure of dealing with George. He was awesome. We spoke everyday and he made the unexpected ordeal as convenient as possible. I can’t say enough positive things about how great it was dealing with George at this dealership. If you need service don’t hesitate to bring your vehicle to this location.
This is my second maintenance service since I purchased the vehicle with them. Am a bit disappointed, I didnt get the complimentary wash like I had the first service. Second, after I had mentioned that I have a maintenance package plan, it was not deducted from my total bill. When I was about to pay, I had to mentioned it again. I would imagine that my records would show and dont have to mention it each and every time I get the maintenance service. Luckily, someone called me up after I left and corrected the issue. I hope that this is an isolated case. Next service, hopefully, I will have a better experience.
Service advisors are knowledgeable and thorough. Shop is clean and well organized. Estimates are detailed and accurate. All in all, a great place to go for service.
I had not purchased a car here previously, but I had come in when my Subaru had a couple of recalls and had a very good experience, so I knew when it was time I would reach out to this dealership first. Excellent experience with AutoNations Encore Delivery service for new Subaru owners! Titus Grimes, the product specialist who provided this owner transition and car technology service, was amazingly helpful and savvy. I went from barely using the MySubaru App or understanding my Starlink in-vehicle technolog to being able to use virtually every bell and whistle that I now owned! It demystified so much, and I did not have to read the 4 inches of manuals provided in my owners packet! Terrific customer service and a sincerely helpful, and polite attitude from Titus made this a truly great experience!
Great service. They have a desk and WiFi customers can use while they’re waiting for their cars. Seemed a bit on the expensive side but I’ll go back.
My visit on 3/5/2021 was for routine service and because of an unusual noise when braking. Not only was the service prompt but everyone we met was very courteous, warm and friendly. We opted to leave the vehicle and have lunch, fully expecting to be at the dealership for the afternoon. Upon our return we were called and told the vehicle was ready to go!! I couldn’t believe how efficient the service department was on a busy Friday afternoon. They even had an accident in their parking lot and still operated as if nothing was going on. True professionalism! We worked personally with George who was very thoughtful and educated us on the vehicle and why we heard the noise. He did a great job explaining the mechanics and also was reassuring that everything was safe. I’m actually looking forward to the next time my car needs service and I fully plan to return within the next 6 months for our next purchase! The facility is very clean and we also observed an employee frequently wiping down chairs and surfaces. I was equally impressed that the staff spoke to and treated other customers with the same degree of respect and positive attitude that they did for us. Really fantastic place! Good job!!

One slight problem we noticed in the cars infotainment system that they refused to take care of, but ended up as a easy fix at low cost. But def will go back when wanting a new car. Pick up my 2021 Subaru Forester Premium in July 2021. I had to ordered the car two months earlier due to the car shortage. My salesperson, Banchalem, was very helpful in guiding me through the process. Other than picking up the car and signing the final paperwork, we conduced the whole process through e-mail and telephone due to COVID. So far, I am satisfy with the car and the buying process.

I brought my car in after getting a flat tire. The service manager (representative? Im not sure) who I worked with, George, was incredibly friendly and communicated with me well. I did not have an appointment, but they were still able to patch my tire (relatively) quickly and repair a broken wiper on the rear window. The only reason its not a five star review is because of the time I waited -- it was more than six hours between pulling in with the spare tire on my car and leaving again with the patched tire. I know thats partially a problem of it being a popular location and partially a problem of not having an appointment.Overall, I would certainly recommend this location for anyone who owns a Subaru and needs to service it, and wants to do so at a dealer. The interior was clean and nicely furnished, and stocked with a coffee machine.

Long story short, I am in the car scene and blew up my engine a year ago. I finally had enough money to get a built motor and install it but I had what I thought was one electrical issue, actually turned out to be multiple. After a different shop could not find the issue, I brought it to this dealership and had an overall great experience. Everyone was very nice and informative but most importantly to me, information was communicated very clearly as well as in a very short time frame. Angel was my master tech and was able to find a multiple shorts in the wiring outgoing from the ECU as well as somewhere in the 2nd throttle sensor. They did tell me that one of the connectors to the main ECU seems to be backing out and it is still causing me issues. However, they did tell me that BEFORE I went to pick up the car so I was aware and they didn’t try to hide that fact. (I might be taking it back there to fix that connector if I can’t figure it out) I knew picking up the car that there was still a lot of work ahead of me and that’s totally fine because they accomplished the one goal in under three weeks for about 8 hours of labor. (Keep in mind the holidays and weekends) anyway, even if I do end up taking it back to this dealership for that one connector, they did solve the issue that I had asked them to fix, and everyone there was awesome. The people I specifically worked with were Angel, Justin, and I think it was Eric? (If not I’ll update it 😅) awesome guys and made the whole process pretty effortless. But huge shout out to Angel for not throwing in the towel because I know he was close 😂 and I don’t blame him.

We were disappointed with our experience. We had made an appointment but were told on arrival that there would be at least a 2 hour wait. We were also given an estimate of charges for $250. The final bill came to $522, twice the estimate and with no warning. At least we were offered a loaner car to complete our errands for the day.
They’re friendly, conscientious, and quick! I certainly don’t dread coming to this dealer!

I have not purchased a vehicle here (yet). I have had several recall jobs done here and a few inspections here over the past two or three years. If I were purchasing a new car, this would be the first place I would consider. I have worked with George every time, and his wonderful demeanor and honesty has really made this a great experience for me. I am usually wary of dealerships and uncomfortable but George has treated me with a great deal of respect and has made wonderful suggestions for my car.They have an excellent service department and have done great comprehensive checks on my vehicle without making me feel like I need to have a million unnecessary things done. Unfortunately for them, I do a lot of repairs myself but I really do appreciate the services they do and would recommend this particular location to anyone! Ask for George if you can!
I always come in and work with George the service advisor. His customer service is the best, he’s always hustling and never stand-off ish like the other service advisors that act like they don’t wanna work. I don’t trust my cars being serviced by most places but I take my Subaru’s here because they do a good job when I need them to do something. Tell the other service people they can learn something from my guy, even when they’re not in the mood tell ‘em “smile and fake it” it’ll go a long way. I’m in the automotive business so trust me when I say, I know how it is lol.

I saw my car a Honda Civic 2012 Hybrid trough the Carfax website, so we scheduled our appointment and we greeted promptly when we arrived at the showroom.Theyre very helpful people, especially Annie Jefferson my sales person and Brian, who took care of the loan with the bank and gave me the crabs plates.The car was better than the pictures they posted, really clean, neat and the car history shown on Carfax was accurate. Donna in services was amazing. I had issues that were under warranty and the Owings Mills Heritage Subaru failed to fix the issues and denied they existed and never found the issues even though I’ve had all my services at Heritage.Heritage failed to detect the issues over the years, when I had another mechanic confirm them independently Heritage reluctantly fixed half the problem and then failed to install a sensor so the dash lights warning came on when driving.Finally to get the warranty covered issues fixed I worked with Donna at Hunt Valley and they were amazing! They found the issues easily. They fixed it and found a few other issues they could fix under warranty too. They even gave me a loaner car! (Something Heritage never offered!)After this Subaru I’m driving finally dies I’ll be sure to buy my next one here and get its warranty work done at this AutoNation service center.Much love to these professionals at AutoNation!

My fourth Subaru and second from Hunt Valley. Started out with a small two-door hatchback in 1988 in which I drove some 240,000 miles.This was followed by an Outback and two Ascents. A daughter also bought an Impreza last year from Hunt Valley. Ty Williams handled two of the purchases and Banchi Urgeha guided me most carefully through an Ascent upgrade transaction just this week. Banchi did a super job and was ably supported by the AutoNation team at Hunt Valley. The purchasing experience was actually pleasurable - particularly love 0% financing. Would strongly recommend the Hunt Valley dealership and AutoNation for a great buying experience. Their Service Department is also outstanding.
