So, like most places in Clinton, its a mix of customers and customer service that makes this place awful. Specifically, people will show up here without their insurance info and then get rude with the staff because things are taking too long.To compound the issue the staff are shorthanded all the time. Every single time I have been up here. Its been a nightmare.So, you have trashy customers acting entitled and annoyed when they dont do their part and bring the necessary information, to get free vaccines, then you have shorthanded staff trying to fill in the blanks. Thr customers get rude, so the staff gets exhausted. The customers waiting start doing the passive aggressive thing of playing stuff on their phones speakers or talking about staff as if they cant hear them. Which of course starts getting people to raise their voices.It would be fascinating as a study in psychology and sociology if I wasnt stuck here waiting for them to fill an RX they have had a week.At least it isnt boring.
I am so frustrated with this place. Always an issue getting prescriptions refilled. Request a refill and they cancel it. Always getting something that has a refill on it, has insurance coverage and gets a message to call pharmacy that action is needed. Call pharmacy and wait for 30 minutes only to get hung up on, call back only to never get the phone answered. This place is getting ridiculous. Long lines in store and drive through. Need to get a better system or something. About completely fed up.
I’m so thankful for the technician named Ana, helped my mom out so much and so nice and patient and because of Ana I’d like to go back to this store. Thanks to her communication skills in a different language my mom was able to go get her medicine on her own. Very fast paced, love to see it! Thanks Ana!!! From my mom as well

Ive been trying to get hold of them for 3 hours and 18 minutes. The first time I was on hold for 50 minutes then it just hung up. The second time I was on hold for an hour and 40 minutes and same thing happened. Now I am on my 3rd time calling. Cant wait to see how long it will take to be hung up on again...
Had an appointment at 2:30 for a flu shot. Got there and the there was a line of about 8 people waiting. 30 mins later and I still have not been checked in and waiting.
Horrible Experience; Deters one from getting the COVID VaccinationMade an appt for the 2nd COVID shot for Sunday at 7:45p, received a call around 6:30p on Sunday saying that they’d run out (1st inconvenience). I agreed to come in the next day at 7:00p to get the shot. Showed up at 6:45p, stood in the consultation line until 7p and then was told to stand in the general drop-off/pick-up line. There was no signage directing COVID vaccinations to stand in one line or the other (2nd inconvenience).While I was waiting, an African American male pharm tech could be heard yelling “who’s here for the shot” and then proceeded to discuss a patient’s private medical planning until the patient requested he please refrain and speak to her one on one at the window.The pharmacy manager at this location should develop and execute a better operation for COVID vaccinations.In all, my 7p appt turned into a 45-min ordeal.
Had an appointment to get a second covid vaccine this morning at Walgreens in Clinton. Guess what - they didnt have it, - no text - no email - nothing - just a good bye and good luck! Do much for a push on getting the vaccine! Big fat joke
This walgreens is terrible. Prescription wait is terrible. I called 4 times on hold for more than 30 minutes keeps saying I have 3 people ahead of me than it hangs up. You go in the store u have extra long lines. I believe I will return to CVS.

Appointments made for covid vaccine. We were on time for first Appointment at 12:45, second was at 1:00. Pharmacy team went on break at 1:30-2:00 for lunch. Did not inform us, and no vaccines were given. Weve been here well over an hour. Extremely unprofessional, they could have at least let us know.
The pharmacy line inside is always down the aisle and the drive-up line outside is always long as well. It doesnt matter the time of day or night I go its always the same. I have gone to several Walgreens and I have never seen the pharmacy line this long. Im not sure if they need to hire more employees or train the ones they have, but something needs to be done. It is very frustrating when you go to pick-up your prescription and you have to wait in line for 20-30 minutes.
I was greeted by some very nice staff. I can tell they were being overworked but they managed to take care of my prescription in due time so I was surprised by the low star review on the customer service. But they took care of me fast even though there were alot of people so I respect how fast they were able to attend me even though there were lots of people there. Keep up the good work.

I went to go pick up a prescription and customer service was exceptional. I was greeted once seen. And helped right away. Ana was a sweetheart at the front. She made it a quick fun trip to the pharmacy, ask for Ana if you want good service!
If I could give zero stars I would’ve. Terrible customer service, I was put on hold for 30+ minutes each time I called. I’m sure I called more than 4 times. Anyways, I would wait on hold then from the other end, someone would hang up. It’s a waste of time and very unprofessional.

Was worried about this Walgreens based on negative reviews. Yes, the drive-thru lines can be a bit long, so plan accordingly with an extra 20 mins.The entire pharmacy closes for lunch 1:30-2:30. I received excellent service start to finish on two different occassions.When I called the pharmacy, a woman w/ (African) accent answered. She was extremely sensitive and patient, answering all of my questions. Said I could walk in for Covid-19 shot. I did a few days later.In person, other pharmacy staff were just as professional and cordial as the woman over the phone. The team seems to have excellent bedside manners.For COVID-19 VACCINE - Wait in pharmacy line to sign-up. They give you a 1-page back & front form to complete. Then they call you in order of arrival. Shot was quick & pain-free (just a tiny pinch). Afterwards, there is a 15 min sit-and-wait observation period to watch for allergic reactions. Unsure how appointments factor in to the scheduling, but I was in and out in1 hr, including the 15-min wait.
Prob the slowest workers ever. The drive thru takes over an hour to get it.
This Drug Store was recommended to us by our doctor. We were able to save money for they only offer affordable meds. The medications were processed quickly and arrived promptly after ordering. We are very grateful!

Literally the absolute longest wait times imaginable for this place. It literally doesnt matter if you go to the window or inside. Youre going to wait AT LEAST twenty minutes or more. These are unwaivering wait times.Y ou could watch a series waiting for these people. I just wanted to DROP OFF a script today and waited 30 minutes. Garbage service.
This pharmacy is terrible. Every time I go there is a 45 minute wait at the drive thru. Part of this is due to having one line for drop off and pickups, but even that does not explain the ridiculous wait. In addition to that, 1 out of 5 times there is some problem with my Rx, but rather than alert me of this they just wait until I come back, and let me wait in line for another 45 minutes before explain explaining something is wrong. God forbid you try to get a person on the phone. I called and waited on hold for 45 minutes just for someone to hang up on me.Update: Waited on hold for another 25 minutes and they hung up on me again!!!! This Walgreens should be shut down! I cannot believe how bad the service is!

Worst customer service. The lady at the first register before you get to the door, ( not next to the door) was so nasty. I wish I could have gotten her name. It’s how you talk to people when you work customer service. You shouldn’t say “ YOU CAN’T GET THIS UNLESS YOU ARE A REWARDS MEMBER”. Um maybe you should’ve asked politely first “ Are you a rewards member” Would you like to sign up?”. This was my first time going to this Walgreens. Walked in and walked right out. It’s the holiday season. You are supposed to be Cheerful! Rude employee with an attitude.

I made appointment for myself and husband, I called to see if it was there because no confirmation was sent and the lady said best to just walk in because if theres other people already there waiting they still will be see first. I told her they need not have the appointment on line than. I had made 2 appointments for 9:00am Sunday morning. She was honest to tell me it would not do any good to make appointment. Just wanted to let people know.

Very Slow service at the pharmacy
Went to pick up my prescription and was told there was a problem with my insurance and they would give them a call to fix it and I would receive a call when its fixed and ready. I said okay thats fine because I didnt need it yet. I get the call and was told it was fixed and ready so I go to pick it up about two days later only to find out that they cancelled my prescription and then gave it to someone else and are now out of it and I need it. The worst experience I ever had at this pharmacy and I am extremely disappointed.
Went into Walgreens to get my fed ex package that was re directed to this location, dealt with “Shannon” who is the store manager, very rude. No greeting, all she asked me for was my ID. She took a minute to find my international package. When she handed it to me she causally informed me that “fed ex wanted me to let you know that the package was ripped”, which made absolutely no sense to me since I didn’t get a notification from fed ex saying it was damaged or items will be missing. Got all the way home to find that someone took a whole dress out of myPackage and left me the wrapping. Looked on my camera at home and I see fed ex bringing the package to me earlier that day with NO DAMAGE. Long story short I called fed ex and they have NO IDEA what I’m talking about with the items missing/damage. I go back to Walgreens and deal with a “manager” named Joe who was just as rude!! He wanted me to just write my name and phone number down, and he didn’t come off understanding at all. Someone at this location took my items. And the service is piss poor.

This is the worst Wlgreens I have ever encountered. The pharmacy and store managers are so unconsiderat. If you can avoid this place by all means do. They gave me the wrong dose of medication. They said sorry but it took forever to fix the problem. Could kill someone if there not careful. Contacting headquarters.
The pharmacist tried to say i couldnt get my prescription without doctor consent which never happened at this location but she wouldnt even call the doc. Im out of my prescription and in pain and robbie the pharmacist is asking me details of my surgery and when it happened and why i need the medication in public. Why i need the medication,, because of my surgery!! She treated me like a junkie and rushed me off not even trying to contact the office. Everyone seen my ankle so how im faking idk. I couldnt even walk. This is unprofessional and embarrassing. The doctor are the doctors not the pharmacist.
Review for pharmacy section.Took two visits for them to get insurance info correct.Then it was past the time that the prescription could be refilled.Called doctor who called in a new prescription.They never filled it.Confirmed with doctor that they did in fact call it in. They did.Changing pharmacies and never going here again.
This is the slowest and most unorganized pharmacy I have EVER experienced! The staff is nice, but there is a lot to be desired in terms of their ability to get the prescriptions filled in a timely manner.
This pharmacy has the worst customer service I have seen in my life. They are entirely too slow inside and outside.... It’s been several times when they were supposed to call my doctor but, NEVER did for refills and never do. They need experience people there I normally get my prescriptions filled in another city and I live in Clinton...go figure
Let me start by saying that I never in a million years thought I would write a review for a random Walgreens, but after seeing all the 1 Star reviews I expected my trip here to be.....suboptimal. On the contrary, it was great. I came in on Oct 29th at 9pm and Thomas was great. He cheerfully greeted me as I came in. When it was time to checkout, he dutifully took care of the customers in front of me while concurrently answering and appropriately dealing with a phone call to the front register. He then speedily checked me out while making certain I got every available discount.5 Stars all around and a hats off to Thomas.Thank you.
I really love this store. I mostly go there for the pharmacy and i know them all... but you can actually go and get cosmetics to school supplies and everything else that you need there at any time of day or night its a win-win..

If I can give Clinton Walgreens 0 stars I would! They are awful! I have the same prescription filled every single month, and they never fail to disappoint every single month! The wait times for the prescription to be filled is super long, and still when you show up at the time they say itll be ready, they still havent even started or they cant find my prescription paper! We do this dance EVERY. SINGLE. MONTH!!
I was chaperoning a middle school field trip in the area and had a medical emergency. I arrived at this Walgreens location at around 8am, lips swollen from an allergic reaction and with a coach bus full of teenagers. When they noticed this, the pharmacist and the assistant worked efficiently, diligently and quickly to refill my prescription, getting me back on the road, feeling like myself once again in no time. Very pleased with their service!
The pharmacy services are very poor (response time in refilling prescriptions, courtesy, dispositions is very disrespectful, etc.). The problematic area is with the pharmacy technicians and their attitudes. They do not have the appropriate interpersonal skills and they have a tendency to be very rude and abrupt in responding to the customers. The other Staff that works in the store is very helpful and more willingly to assist the customer. If TRICARE officials finds out this information, Walgreens will most definitely loose their contract........Unfortunately, I have to post this information but people need to know how they are being mistreated.
Mostly positive on all counts. I like the stores better than the competition, better layout, better prices generally. I use it for photo processing, and my only drawback there is it pays to call ahead and make sure the photo lab in your preferred store is open that day - if you need the photos quickly. After one bad experience, Ive learned that trick. Since then, Ive had no problems and find the staff to be friendly and helpful.

I was on hold for 14 min and doing that time they picked the phone up never said a word but continue to put me on hold5 times New flash while they continue to put me on hold they just could of answered my question which would of only taken 15-30 sec.
Yep the pharmacy is pretty darn terrible! Horribly disorganized. Drop and pick up both took 46 minutes but I there were only 2 people in line. One prescription was lost but ultimately found. That’s it fir me
I can’t say enough good about this location, and particularly staff memeber, Aubrey. I called to find a much needed prescription and the pharmacist on the phone was so helpful and even set the script aside for me until I got there. Once arriving, the script only took about 30 minutes to fill. While waiting I shopped, and Aubrey had made sure I was finding everything okay. I assured her I was just killing time to wait for the script. I also witnessed her helping many other customers and fellow staff while I browsed. When it was time for me to pick up the prescriptions, there was some questions on my end and she went above and beyond to make sure I was able to get the scripts I needed for my kids. She was so professional, welcoming, understanding and such a pleasure to do business with. She turned my day around! Thank you Aubrey!
This is our favorite Drug Store in the area....To be honest we have never filled a prescription here but my husband stops in to pick up stuff almost every night. Milk, soda, candy (sugar free) toilet paper and other Odds and ends that we forget. The staff is friendly and the store is clean....We could not manage with out our Favorite 24 HR store in the area. In and Out and hardly ever a line. We love you and need you Walgreens never leave us. LOL
I have drove from Bowie MD to Clinton MD and this location had my medication in stock. The employees of the pharmacy were very passionate of my needs. I also got the chance to meet the manager Nate whom was very resourceful especially since the District Heights, MD location was very nasty and unprofessional. They went from bad/poor staff to worst. They really need to shut down.
I have to give 1 star but really the pharmacy in this store is the worst. Dropped off my prescription at 10:15pm hoping to have it filled only to be told that they are no longer filling prescriptions but had the medication in stock. Called this morning (9:00), only to find out that it still was not ready. When I asked the pharmacist for their name.... she was rude (Kay).Being rude and nasty to a customer is not going to keep customers returning...next time Im going elsewhere.I have always shopped there but no more...customer service means a lot to me.
I have had a few hiccups at this location, but for the most part they are very easy to deal with and the staff are very competent and friendly.
A decent sized Walgreens. Have a large selection of natural products, and those for black hair. The pharmacy is no longer 24/7, but stays open until midnight. Good selection of toys and snacks.
The worst one on the east coast for pharmacy service. Keep on hold 40 minutes. Wait on wrong person. Get 20 different answers from 20 different people. Cant get my med right. Now i go to CVS or Walmart. At least in Clinton MD. You people need to get your act together like NY VA or DE

I hate this pharmacy! I miss RiteAid. They would call to tell me my prescription is ready. Soon as I get there, they always tell me “to drive back around & it’ll be ready by then”. It’s sooo dysfunctional. This pharmacy need to be improved seriously. The staff is kind though.

I like Walgreens for the fact they are 24hr. The pharmacy now closes at midnight which is why I gave 4 stars; it was the main reason I chose them. The nearby pharmacies are the pits and I avoid them.The pharmacy can be maddeningly slow at times as I have stood in line 10 deep while a customer is ill prepared to handle business and the cashiers can be even worse. A lot of customer service at most businesses in the area is sorely lacking. I read some other reviews and wonder if the reviewers hadnt noticed it yet. I have been using the store for 10 years.
It has been so many wrongs that have been done to transfer two prescriptions at a higher cost for my mother who is 83. The pharmacy staff is either very nonchalant or lazy in the performance of their job. Even when you go there the pretense is overwhelming. Thank God for the previous pharmacy WHO DID HAVE that prescription with refills.
Been dealing with pharmacy for 3 1/2 years and its the worse place in the world to deal with. From the managers to the workers nobody knows how to talk to people and when I ask for their boss Im told to call 1800 Walgreens .

After a long wait they tell me I have to wait even longer because its not ready. My thing is organize it or close it .
Drive-pharmacy lets cars build up in the heat, outside. Cars can easily be over 100°.
I am a bus driver....and a customer in the DMV area period...it makes no since that the store is open and you cannot use the bathroom til 8am who does that...? Why? Why is the rest room not available til 8am u cannot dictate when a customer uses the restroomI will not be coming here anymore and i will not recommend anyone i knw to.

Was transferred to this pharmacy because of Insurance from CVS to Walgreens. I used the drive-thru at CVS, if and emergency script was called in to CVS during the day, give them 2 hours it would be filled and ready for pick-up. Thjs Walgreen is a night-mare. After verifying the script was there and coming 2 hours later after being told it was ready, get to the window - it is not ready and I am asked to return because I would be holding the drive-thru up. It is the worse out of the 3 that has drive-thru in this area. HORRIBLE. If CVS can manage why cant this pharmacy?

Was forced to switch to Walgreens due to change in prescription company. Had an emergency seizure med filled for my daughter. Got home and realized the pharmacist never set the dial to the correct dose! Not to mention there are STOP signs all over the packaging alerting the pharmacist to do so. Their lack of professionalism couldve really hurt my child. Took it back and another pharmacist stated there was no excuse and was very apologetic but told me to report it to the pharmacy manager. Im happy I double check every everything because obviously they dont! Terrible!
This is the absolutely worst customer service I have ever experienced. I went to the drive thru because I am sick. I was told my prescription would be ready in 20 minutes. This is an hour after my doctor called it in. I came back 30 minutes later and was again told it wasnt ready. It would be another 15 minutes. When I told the young man I had already waited 30 minutes, his response was a flippant, well its not ready. Then he mumbled a very lowsorry. I waited another 20 minutes, called the pharmacy and was put on hold for 10 minutes. When someone answered, they said the meds were ready. I got back in line.Then waited another 40 minutes as they filled prescriptions for everyone in line. None of the people were asked to come back; they just waited at the window for about 15 minutes each car. Terrible service. Shameful. No work ethic and certainly no concern for customers.

Called in my prescription 2 days before, got a call saying its ready, get there wait in line 25 minutes only to get to the counter and told it was not ready and it will take another 5 minutes. 20 minutes later writing this review and prescription still not filled. Same thing happened once before.
The cashier was so rude when I tried to explain to her that they had given me the wrong information so made effect to reslove the issue promting me to ask for the corporate number which I had to ask for twice.

This Walgreens pharmacy is the worst. The customer service is awful and sad. You get texts and automatically calls ststing that your prescription is ready, just to get there to fins out they havent even started on filling the meds. Whats worse of all is that the staff dont even apologize for it. They are never is a rush and often communicate mis information, even under new management. The rest of the store is ok but the Pharmacy needs a complete overhaul.
