My experience started out a bit off so I am giving 4 stars for the store only. The store was pretty busy so support was limited and I waited for what seemed like eternity to be helped.However, Kelly made up for my my long wait. She gave a 5 star customer experience with no hesitation. She literally went above and beyond to assist me in getting the items that I needed. I really appreciate the service provided by Kelly.
Wonderful personnel and indeed a wonderful manager Kelly helped me today. I was in a rush to memorial service and needed poster pictures on board. I couldn’t have done it if it was not for Kelly the kind and caring store manager.
Devon at the copy and poster area was so professional, personable, helpful and kind. I had bought several things and the cashier forgot to give me my large desk poster. I had called immediately on the drive home and it was 10 minutes before closing but no one picked up. That is one issue I have with this location. It takes a while to get your call answered.2 weeks later I was finally able to go back to get my poster. I showed them the receipt for proof of purchase and they initially didn’t have it, but the manager actually went to the back and found it in some new shipments that just arrived. She was extremely accommodating and even gave me a discount for the inconvenience of having to come back. They did a phenomenal job of handling this error. I would definitely return and wish more businesses handled issues the same way.

I came here once to get pads for my furniture to protect my floors, and after asking one employee for help on where to find it, he promptly lead me right to what I was looking for. The store is also really clean and organized. I know I will be able to find all my office needs here.
A relatively unassuming Staples in terms of the main store, but it has an *excellent* printing center - more printers and computers than Ive seen in other Staples. They rush-printed and bound notes that I needed for a class (I sent and customized them online), and they called me to let me know it was done early. The product was beautiful. I will go here in the future for my printing needs.

Staples of Clifton (printing department)has lost its customer service. All I needed was to print 2 files containing 6 pages.The copiers were down and only two machines were functioning (machines are always down). I asked if these could be printed for me. The manager was useless and recommended using their computer and print which will cost more.I asked can’t you just print these for me? It has been done before. The manager was not helpful and stated he can but will charge an “express fee”. What’s that? I’ve never been charged an express fee. Playing with your phone is more important than helping a customer.I will take my business else where. Staples HQ if your are reading this, your management and staff need retraining and have friendlier client facing staff. The current crew seem miserable and take out their frustration on customers. The staff needs better leadership.
Professional and helpful staff! The items I was in the market for were in stock and readily available for immediate purchase. Chose the In-store option, was in and out in no time.
I have gone to this particular location for ink three times in the past month and they never have the one I need. I have officially given up and seem to always have success with a Walgreens or CVS.
This is my go to store...the manager and the team member from printing made a beautiful banner for my sons birthday...so attentive and willing to make it to my liking...thanks so much guys!!
The assistant manager/manager of this store is by far the most efficient person Ive met. He is always friendly, helpful and goes out of his way to take care of any need. Very efficient and has excellent customer service skills. I recommend shopping here !
WOW! Im astonished about Everson (Clifton Manager) terrible and outrageous behavior on treating customers the way he did. He was LATE and had all the employees waiting for him outside of the store (it was freezing cold) It was 9:10 and a few of us were still waiting outside. One employee opened the door and apologize for the late start and said she can let us in but to wait until cashier systems loads if we needed to purchase something. I just had to print 1 page. I get to the computer excited :) to get my document printed insert my credit card to begin. Nothing was printing. I see Everson and I said excuse me can you please help me?. He replies 1 sec. Yet he doesnt come he is huffing and puffing on the entrance closing the metal gate (9:18), setting the alarm off! a mess. I ask again please can you help me NOT yelling at all but he was a few feet away. He said 1 sec and I said I know but my credit card is running on the system. He comes YELLING SO LOUD! very disrespectful as he approached me WHAT DO YOU NEED??!! OH OK SO LETS FIGURE WHY ITS NOT PRINTING?! OUTRAGEOUS, HE KEPT YELLING touch a button and walked away. He cant treat women or any customer as such! I felt threatened. Two of the employees apologize on his behalf. If the District Manager reads this review, can you please get a hold of Everson and go over the Staples company policies.
Thank you Luciano at Staples in Clifton Commons! Lucky Luciano for sure. You prevented me from having a panic attack. Im a nurse & teacher. Im used to being cool, calm & taking care of others. But when my brand new teaching easel wasnt working I almost lost it. I called you guys in a frenzy. Someone mentioned having to go back in the store and with COVID I almost lost it. I panicked because I barely go out as it is....strictly for work. Going to get this was a big deal for me tostart. When it didnt work I suddenly regretted it. Anyway you got on the phone, you were the calm one, you listened and you asked questions and then you went to the back and opened the box urself to see what I was talking about and you taught me calmly what I had missed. It was so simple yet I didnt realize it before. Nothing was defective, nothing was wrong and i didnt have to come in. What a damn relief. Thank you thank you thank you. You wont ever know how much you helped my exhausted and stressed heart.
I was charged 30 cent a minute to use computer, I needed to update my resume. Everything else about my visit was fine except that, it took me 25-30 min to do my resume over, I made 13 copies plus time I was charged for computer time came out to $17 and change..... All I can say is have your documents downloaded already before you get here
I took my computer in after an upgrade corrupted files and messed everything up. The Easy Tech guys (Mike, also Adrien and Matt) were all very helpful, courteous, knowledgeable and professional. My computer is now good as new.
If you need office supplies, Staple is the best place to go in the area. Usually can find what youre looking for but difficult to find staff on the floor to help.Very quick for in and out purchases.
Would love it more if Everytime I visit I was hemmed up by work.
Young lady who took care of me was amazing. Friendly, prompt, and personable. This store is further away from my home than the closer one in Bloomfield but the staff and service are just so much better. Dont mind driving the extra miles

After letting the employee see the label I had on my phone he recommended I print it. Only to say later that he cant. $5 price for poorly informed employee + priceless delay in shipping my parcel
Went to 3 different staples locations and neither had the item I was looking for despite the fact that all 3 had it in stock according to their website. This Clifton location especially told me the item wasnt in stock on the phone, but I went in just to make sure and found out what I was looking for was on the shelf inside. So my suggestion to you is shop online. İts not worth the headache.

My very 1st time walking into the staples store was THE WORST EXPERIENCE ever. I immediately saw 2 store representatives whom DID NOT EVEN GREET ME. I had to ask (knowing they worked there) if they worked there because of how rude and unhelpful they were . I’ll NEVER give Staples my Business Again. UNBELIEVABLE!!!! I’m so blown away right now

The tech repair’s a little shady. I was charged about $150/$160/w tax for screen repair—a typical price. The tech guy said he was throwing in a free Staple brand screen protector —fine. Thanks.Upon seeing the receipt, I saw that the service and the fee were two separate charges; i.e. the screen repair only cost $110 and the Staples brand screen protector $35. The tech guy didn’t offer the $35 screen protection as an option but instead lied and acted like he was doing me a favor. Other staples centers treat this as optional and offer the $110 repair. I never thought I’d have to enter a Staples and have my guard up to make sure I wasn’t getting ripped off. Totally disappointed.The rest of the staples is great but—dang—that tech department. Shifty.

My husband and I needed a new laptop. Not being very tech savvy, we were a little leery that we would be talked into all expensive products. Not the case. Salesman James inquired what we were going to be using the laptop for and lead us to the most inexpensive product thst would fulfill our need. Offering us also protection servoce where Staples themselves can help us eoth problems or accidents that may happen. He then sold us the most efficient printer, copier and fax machine that we will ever need....for get this....60.00. We dont use our laptop for business or professional use and although, my husband and I, were at the mercy of the salesmen, they did not take advantage of us. I want to praise James, Roy and all of the other employees at Staples for being kind, informative and helpful to us and our needs. I will forever be a Staples customer for all my needs....electronic and otherwise.Thank you againMrs. Janet Larson

Very helpful to me & my husband. My husband would of paid almost $200 of 100 pages of fax when a staples associate said maybe u should email it which saved him abt $140.

Items on the shelves were mispriced. Items on sale are not where they used to be. Associates did not know where to find the items on sale that every employee should know. I have to say although it took me twice as long time as I wanted to spend there and did not even get one 1/4 of what I wanted to buy. The cashiers were very pleasant and helpful. I am sorry to say that now that there is no longer local compilation (office Max/depot) I would have went there. Instead I placed an order on the Internet.

Worst customer service ! So upset! Took a long trip to come here to pick up gift cards, specific ones. I called ahead to be sure they had it . They assured me they did but when I got there it was the wrong ones and they run out of the one I needed it !What a waste of my time . Manager couldnt even apologize or even step in to ease my frustration ! Lack of compassion ... Now Im heading out empty handed ... A long trip awaits :(Very unsatisfied

There was no help on the floor and the cashier didnt paid attention due to a call that came in took over my transaction. Paid no attention at all. And not a pleasant one either.
Just left the kingsland ave location and im still sitting in my car smiling! The staff here are super helpful! After a horrible experience at the Bloomfield location, my fiancee and I came here just to make copies and fax. KRISTIN took care of us in every way possible. She was so cheerful and knowledgeable! Wish I could give it negative 10 stars, I have placed an order online, received an email that it was delivered at the Clifton staples on Friday. So I go in on Saturday to pick up my order, the manager ( if thats what you want to call the person) takes her sweet time and after 30 minutes tells me they dont have it. Very frustrating! I called staples, talked to a men who was willing to help and said the order was delivered for sure. He called the manager at the Clifton location put her on the phone and you know what she says we found it now well too late now, I am not there. VERY DISORGANIZED! That so called manager should not hold such position as I was talking to her and telling her how incovinient and disorganized they are she went on saying you are breaking up which was total bull. Will never do business with staples at that location.
In order to get something printed, you need 5 days notice. Thats not what the commercials say.
