Received really great customer service yesterday from Luther. I bought new wipers and he installed them for me—they were tricky to put on and required going back inside a few times. I definitely wouldn’t have been able to install them on my own and really appreciated his attentive service!
I noticed my left blinker was not blinking properly so pulled in to Auto zone where Brian S who is the Parts and sales managerCustomer satisfaction greeted me. I explained I really did not know what I was doing. I wasn’t sure what to expect but he spent a considerable amount of time working on my car going above and beyond the call of duty. This place was amazing help! I bought wipers and tried to put them on in the parking lot. They saw me struggling with my rear wiper, came out, and showed me how to do it the right day. I would have never figured that out on my own

Autozone in Clifton always has what Im looking for. The employees are always helpful and resourceful. They really seem to care about customers and the service they provide. In my most recent experience, I witnessed a new employee being trained and the trainer and trainee were most pleasant. Thank you!
It’s always something to make your project take longer. Final straw was I drop a battery off to get charged and was told there’s another battery on the charger and mines next. Had a feeling it would get forgotten. Ask the employee when I picked up, the battery is good? “Yeah”. Install pita battery so I can get the car inspected before the weekend, sure enough it’s dead. Time to switch to the other retail storeAutozone is the 10 mm of the auto world. Never there when you need it.
Nice clean organized with a friendly staff. Helpful answered my questions and got me on my way quickly.
Even with the VIN number they gave me wrong parts. Once i found used rotor in New box, and once you get their you wait and wait and wait like you have no work to do and the employees just dont care about your time.

Again, one line for all needs. So now, if everyone ahead of you needs parts, I have to wait extra long to pay for something I got off the shelf. This makes no sense. Bring back 2 separate lines! Corporate will respond with their usual bland response of we try to provide the best service blah blah. Just bring back separate lines like Pep Boys.
As always AutoZone is a good place to buy auto acessary though price wise seem a little bit high.
I really like auto zone more over other parts stores. Im from Kansas and turn wrenches. I seem to know their system better than them. They are always out of stock of the part I need, and dont understand how people replace engines so what their screen says, is wrong.

I went to Autozone to get a kind of epoxy for a 15 year old Toyota Camry repair. The door handle was also broken and we asked for the price of that. The person who took care of us found that they actually had the part in a nearby auto zone store.It seems that the people who manage Autozone understand that the customer comes to the store with a variety of needs and a bit of attention can help the customer get more than expected.

Im definitely not an auto expert....which makes the fact that everything is well displayed so much easier for someone like me to find an item. Unfortunately the item I bought was incorrect (not their fault....it was the item specifically designated for my car)....I went to return it and they took the item back without any problems (they even tried to help find the right item but Im going to have to contact the manufacturer)

Overall this location is pretty good. They usually have the parts that I need in stock, and theyre well-stocked on oil and other fluids for my car.Their service is usually fairly quick, although in the summer there could be a bit of a line. The one issue I have with this location is that their battery tester is not always working and I have to go to the other location or another business entirely on the occasion that I needed my battery tested. You would think that a company as large as this would have several battery testers available and working at all times, so they need to up their game there.

What an attitude. Guy by register is talking to another employee about a game. I stood waiting for 5 minutes. Was picking up a part for a freind and he said no body called me. The other guy was eating lunch and there were w others. He didnt want to bother to ask. Finally one of people who work there said oh yes, I was just on the phone with him. My battery died. After getting a jump start I needed a replacement quickly. I called the Bloomfield Avenue Auto Zone. They checked to be sure they had the correct battery for my Jeep and told me to come right over. Curtis took care of me. He replaced my old battery right there in the parking lot. The installation was FREE, and I was on my way in 10 minutes! I was so relieved.
Its was fine. They had what I needed but they didnt observe COVID safety protocol which made me very uneasy.
I am a regular customer of this store, I have had no problems with it before. However, there is always a first time. Store is suppossd to close at 8pm on sundays, I arrived at 7:40pm and the manager signaled me it was close without me even getting out of my car. This is a disrespect to a customer. It the hours of operation say one thing they should stick. Very dissapointed of the manager on shift.

Great customer service no matter what location you go to any time of the day. I find the staff will go out of their way to help you and Im in a store several times a month buying air fresheners and other sundry products to help make the passengers I drive feel comfortable and enjoy being in my car.

I went to this location yesterday and was fortunate enough to be helped by Benjamin. He went waaayy beyond a normal service level by actually offering to come outside and help me change by wiper blades. Nice job AutoZone for hiring such top talent like Benjamin. Not the best or worst place to go for parts. You can typically get most things you need. The staff is what makes or breaks the experience, so depending on who is working you can get better or worse assistance. That being said though it is very clear that some of the employees are super into helping you and are very knowledgeable, others are just your average retail employee.
Most parts available onsite, they also have free computer scanning of vehicle.

I needed to replace headlights. And Edward was so helpful in getting the right ones. And JOSE was so helpful in putting them in for me. I tried to give him a tip but refused. He is a real gentleman. I highly recommend this store and this most helpful and kind staff.
Friendly and knowledgeable staff that will commit to helping each customer. They get busy in the front lines because of that but its because they commit to each customer. They are honest with you if they dont know or have a product.
They never have time for no one especially if you want to install something for you.They always keep saying go to the one on Lakeview.They like to run away from doing things especially there excuse is always the battery check up machine is down so they don’t was time to check it out for you.Once I bought headlights and the cashier lady told me they don’t install headlightsCame back the next day the guy was like yes we do install but at this moment we don’t have time.My thing is if you guys don’t have enough staff keep your store closed. Came here to buy a battery and have it installed was told they couldn’t do it because there were only 2 of them working. Terrible customer service. Nonsense.
Was awesome. Its the 4th of July & there were very few customers. The workers were polite & efficient, checked the battery & replaced it. GREAT SERVICE!My only gripe is that the cheapest replacement battery for a very ordinary car (simple Hyundai) was $139. Seems very high...

I drove from Newark just bc this Auto Zone had a part that the one in Newark sold out of. The prices here beat the prices of Advanced Auto. Very happy with the service.

The employees are definitely on some zone. I asked for a jump starter and he pointed to a location. I requested help and info about some other devices he was like if is not there then we dont have it. I asked to please check, maybe they have it on the stockroom. He did go and looked and guess what?they did have it. Then It was discovered that the special price for this item was for last month and the tag was still on the shelves. They gave me the special price because Insisted as advertised on the shelves. Not attentive, nor eager to help. Poor customer service.
Dont go here if youre looking for some assistance. I waited on line for my turn to talk to one of the employees. I only needed a new battery and came with an idea of what kind I was looking for. I asked the employee if I could get some help looking for a new battery for my car, and he straight up told me that no one in the facility could help me. I had hoped to get a quick second opinion/answer just for reassurance prior to making a purchase. I had expected him to just show me my options really quick, then let me decide for myself. I was confused as to why there wasnt anyone to assist me, so I just browsed myself and bought a battery in hopes that it would be a perfect fit. Thankfully, the guy who rung me up was cool so thank him for the second star.

Out of the 3 sales associates one actually took the time to assist. The two who were behind the counter wearing gray shirts had no common courteous just pointed without truly hearing my questions. I want to thank the gentlemen wearing the red shirt for helping otherwise I would of given no stars.

I had a return from another store for an item I didnt need. Not receipt, no problem. They gave me a credit on a store card and then helped me find the right size wipers I needed. When you first walk in it feels like its going to be hard to get someones help - everyone is either busy or not behind the counter. But they are aware of your presence and they do get to you soon. Staff is very helpful, though not overtly welcoming until you start interacting with them.
Picked up what I wanted. Left part of what I wanted. Went back and the young man was great. Had what I forgot on the counter.
This location, the people are not very knowledgeable. They hire young kids that are too busy trying to be funny and having conversations with each other rather than being professional. The have an attitude because you are making them work. There have been times when i had good experiences here but as of lately its very frustrating.
