This place was my saving grace!! I was running around town crazily, because one of my whims shield wipers completely stopped working 2 days before I left to go out of town. My dealer ship wanted me to pay them 130$ just for them to tell me what was wrong with it— not including an actual repair. However, Jay (I think that’s his name) was sooo nice. All I needed was a tighten Med screw. He greeted right away, did it within 5 minutes— for free!!! I begged to give him a tip and he decline gracefully!! Great man and a great place!!! Thank you!

I was wowed by the know how the team at Rainbow Muffler had in getting my 2010 Honda Insight a new muffler installed. In short order the problem was diagnosed and new muffler was available. I was on my way home in 40 minutes of time. Ill use them again for my Honda Insight that has 169,000 miles on it. I feel blessed to have used there service when others could not help me.

Very nice people who r working there. But they r n deep n the work and really r n Bad needing n more help as n not just good workers, But n very much needing a Great Person with a Super Great attitude personality and just a great all around person to go there and see if they can get a job there. Cuz I do know that whoever it is that might get a chance to get a job there, theyre going to have a Super Great Person who is the Best of the Best of a Boss that seems to be so happy being there working with the public and what I do know of people who seems to love where they r at, doing and still being so nice and appreciate that u r there to have him to work on ur car. U know that u will get along with that Boss. To me he was a Great Guy and would love to get good help at the shop. And that Shop is on the Eastside of Cleveland on St.Clair Ave and I believe that it is Nottingham Road which is off of 185th exit. TheRainbow 🌈 Muffler Shop. I almost guarantee that you would love to work there great guys.

Horrible. Initially went because of loud exhaust sound. They said I needed a new resonator(connected to the muffler), they replaced the resonator. Car now sounds quiet, but when I make left hand turns, I hear a noise. I call and tell them, they say bring it back in. I take it back, they said the resonator was rubbing against the frame of the car, they cut some off to fix it. Left, car seemes quiet still. Couple days later, it sounds louder than when I first took it in. So now Im back, 3rd time... I tell them my car sounds like a truck when Im sitting at red lights with my foot on the brake. A guy tried to say it probably was something else, im like naw homie. They take it back and said it was something(I forgot), but claimed they fixed it. My car still sounds loud when I have it in drive with my foot on the break. Im not taking it back to them a 4th time, Ima just take it somewhere else. But I will never go back to this location again. Ohh, and the 2nd time I took it back, I arrived at 745am, because they open at 8am... there were about 20 customers outside by the time they opened, which was at 845 when they showed up. They didnt apologize or nothing for being 45 MI uses late opening and then had the audacity to have an attitude as they are helping the 1st few customers. I had to say lose the attitude and get us in and fix our cars instead of arguing with people after weve been sitting here an hour waiting for you all to show up and open. Just horrible. If I could, I would give them 0 ZERO stars. *hopefully if there are typos, you can read between the lines...sorry. didnt go over it to check.

Third time with the same car. Always do right by me. Today 7/8/21 back to Rainbow just for an oil change. Thought I might be awhile because car were stacked in the lot but was Able to git in, git out, & on with my day! It’s another 5 star review from me, js

They kept my car for three days. They didnt call and tell me they was keeping it Saturday. Then they didnt call and tell me when it was ready. Then they have a surcharge on top of taxes. But it did pass the AIM test.

I brought my car to Rainbow about 10 years ago and got really good service at a reasonable price. This place has not changed, I got great service and a reasonable price again. Hope I dont have to get muffler service again but if I do... Rainbow Muffler is where Ill come back to. Incidentally, it was two different vehicles. Thanks guys!

Its not good vehicle was there from 8:30 a.m. Saturday until 3:45 p.m. same day and no work was completed no work had even begun yet.

They replaced my hybrids catalytic converter several months ago. The welds look great.About a month ago, I get a code in my car for the downstream O2 sensor being faulty. I finally get a chance to take my car in yesterday as the holidays are a busy time.Chip, the manager is on the phone and tells me to come in so they can look at it.Im there right at open and theyre busy so they take some time to get the car in. Understandable.They have the car in 15 minutes and the manager Chip gets called back to look at my car. I see the whole thing happening.Now, from hindsight, I know that as soon as a tech put in the likely miniVCI code reader they have, the code reader caused lights on the dash - happens every time with bum code readers per Toyota dealer.Well, they hold onto my car for another 45 minutes probably trying to troubleshoot.No luck I guess from hindsight again as the manager Chip tells me my car has an electrical problem and hands the keys to me. I go start my car and then head back inside very angry and Chip, while citing his 30 years of experience as I object to everything after I get to my car and see the lights on the dash, tells methe O2 sensor only has 90 days warranty so theyre not going to do anything but that if I get a paper from the dealer saying that my O2 sensor is faulty then hell put in an O2 sensor for me. But Chip keeps saying I have an electrical problem and he didnt find any codes for an O2 sensor. I ask for Chip to have a tech read the codes in my presence and I see the O2 sensor code! I have a video of it!Mind you, my car is running out of gas so fast while driving completely fine that it must be an O2 sensor. Plus the O2 sensor code.But, the tech says I have an electrical problem and to go have the dealer fix it after trying to tell me all about my big hybrid battery being in poor condition likely - all they know about my car is that. Blame that.They dont like what they dont understand.I go to the dealer and pay for a diagnostic for them to tell me theres no electrical problem, hybrid battery in great condition (awesome because its new!) and I need an O2 sensor.I call Chip so hopefully I dont have to pay the dealer to put in my O2 sensor and see if Chip keeps his word and he says, Youre at the dealer then have them fix it and he puts me on hold likely to not talk to me and get me to hang up.Well, I have proof I got a tune up the next day after they replaced my catalytic converter and if I have any codes related to that in 5 years then Im going to cause drama.Totally unethical manager. Techs dont like what they dont understand and blame the buzzword failure.Too bad I dont know how to weld.Update:Soon after drafting this the dealer tech came back and told me this shop SPLICED in my O2 sensor and so they cant or wont put a new one in without changing the catalytic converter.So now Im back with parts and I want my money back for at least the sensor or else Im calling the cops because I have photos, the dealer has photos. The staff today told me to come back Wednesday and talk to Jay.The dealer told me its likely vehicle sabotage because splicing is improper.If they have any problems with my demands then Im calling the cops and then it can be sorted out that way.Update:They refuse to fix their issue. Called the cops.Filing a dispute with my credit card issuer and Ill see in court. Theyre all independently owned but bob hrovath listed as owner of Nottingham and Bishop rd.Just left a message with an employee. Maybe Bob Hrovath will call me and settle this thing and I never have to go back there again because a lot can happen in 5 years cat warranty.Update after they reply:The mailbox is full for the 877-1907 number. So no one can reach you via that number.Theres a short at the connection where your techs spliced the sensor in. I have a new cat and O2 sensor. Give me my money back for the old O2 sensor and put this new stuff in so I never have to go back there again. Or were just going to have problems here.

They did a good job on my suv

I been coming here for years and I literally never waited 2 hours for an oil change when I was the second person here. He couldve just said oh it will be a wait for your oil change esp being #2 in line. I never seen anyone do exhaust work over an oil change. Usually everyone prioritize. I pass a rainbow muffler to come to this one but that wont be happening again. My business with this location has come to an end. Get the old crew back

Terrible service charged me $466 to fix 2 brakes lines after we agreed on $300 and $50 to bleed the brakes. They gave me my car back with the brake pedal going to the Floor after paying 466$ for 2 brake lines. Wow 1st time going never again ripped off and bad service. I might actually have to sue!

My engine light came back on, them went off again

TERRIBLE!!! I called and explained that my head light blew out 2 days after I replaced it and they said go somewhere else because if its still not working, youre just going to be up here everyday.. wtf!!! I just want you tell me what wrong with the damn light!

Rainbow muffler did a terrible job on my car they claim they fixed my starter and battery then 3 months later my car wouldn’t start again then they claimed I needed another new battery and a reprogramming of key they had. MY car for 2 weeks then when I went and picked it up and my front pieces inside my car was missing I could see my wires I called them and they said it came like that and I know it didn’t and my car was way louder then ever before the next day my car was running really hot and I called them and they got smart with me about it I then took my car to super lube and they fixed my water pup and belt and now my car runs smooth I would never recommend anyone to go to rainbow muffler

I was told the muffler on my 2009 Volkwagen Jetta neede to be replaced a two muffler connection for $691. I did not need a complete new muffler and it was repaired for $79.95 Beware if you are a senior or a female

They always work hard on whatever situation I bring them concerning my vehicle and they do the job right.

All they did for me was give me a price of 1000$ and a piece of paper and told me to have a good day I dont recommend this place to anyone.

Definitely wouldnt recommend them got $600 dollars worth of work did left for about 2-3 hours tire came off I called them they paid for a tow and said they will buy me a new tire and rim next day i get there i wait for 5 and a half hr all they did was replace is studs and bolts even though they admitted that the guy working on my car the first time never tightened my screws and bolts from the get go Smh

Ive gone here often in the past and have always been satisfied with the service and work. I would recommend you check them out- although theyre a Muffler shop they do other work too, my wife just recently had extensive brake work done on her car.

I used to come here all the time. Service is not what it used to be. If you say you are going to call me please do. I had to call up there twice to check on a part I ordered and paid for. I will go back to taking my car to Master Mechanical on 200th St in Euclid Ohio. They do good work and they prices are not high and I never had to pay anything extra. Just parts labor and taxes. 🌈 is getting over.

I use to get my car fixed there all the time but now its new mechanics and it seems like there a lot slower now and when Jay is not there they do a lot of cursing to were the customers can hear them and thats probably why me and a lot of other people that still go there wait to Jay is working because it seems run aloft smother and the mechanics work more instead of talking and laughing most of the time .

Drop my car off 8:30am, I was told there was a woman with an oil change in front front of me . Called back at 12:30pm, I was told my car had not been looked at and there were (2) cars in front of me . Thats Math I didnt understand . Took my car to another shop, fixed in an hour . I would not recommend Rainbow if someone paid me .

If I could rate them a negative 10, I would! They charged me $20 per day for storage when I could not afford to get my car repaired after they misdiagnosed the problem! They claimed they lost business with my car taking up ONE parking spot. Does this lot look full? I counted 12 empty parking spots! Jay is shady, Frank is rude & Ron is clueless! Do NOT take your car there for any repair!!!

RACIALLY BIAS!!!!!!!MY EXPERIENCE. ....I arrived for service at 7:50am along with two other customers before me.The business opened at 8 am. At 7:55 the shop personal arrives and at 7:57 a White Couple arrives and immediately get out of their car and stands at both doors. All of us early birds get out of our cars too and we respect the order in which we arrived as we line up. At 8 am the doors are opened and the couple is in first of course, but I state to the man behind the counter we are before them we were here waiting they just got to the door first. He said he did see us out there before them and would take us first.I was thankful for his observation and handed him the keys to my car. WELL HE TOOK THE WHITE COUPLES CAR BEFORE THE BLACK MAN IN FRONT OF ME CAR AND MINE. We were all there for a oil change that I do know. I FEEL HE PUT ME AND THE OTHER GUY ON BACK BURNER FOR PEOPLE OF HIS OWN RACE!!! He saw the order and confirmed it, yet he took THEM AHEAD of US stating we will be next! I demanded my keys and went to Conrads where I was willing to wait my turn. THAT COUPLE KNEW that they were not the first ones there!! And SO DID THE CLERK! I KNOW RAINBOW MUFFLER WILL NEVER GET MY BUSINESS AGAIN SINCE THEY ARE RACIALLY BIAS ON E185TH STREET CLEVELAND. TELL YOUR FRIENDS AND FAMILY TO STOP GOING THERE.

I ve been going to Rainbow muffler for the past 3yrs since I first took my truck their. I own a small home improvement company and my truck broke down on 90 east near rainbow. I had it towed there and really needed my truck done that day! The management that day made sure that before they went home I got my truck back and it ran great. Great mechanics and service

I went in for an oil change on last Tuesday. At the time, my windshield fluid hose was needing repair/replacement,and I asked the mechanic to take a look at it for me,and let me know how much $$. When my car was ready, the mechanic pulled my car up and said oh, I went ahead a fixed the hose for you. I asked him how much did I owe?, and he stated, nothing. I was sooo grateful. I drive at night, and its scary driving in the winter with partial visiability. Thank you guys at Rainbow Muffler on Nottingham. Superior customer service! Ill be back!!

I had my boyfriend come up there a week a go to get a pully fixed on my van. When we dropped it off the lights on the van worked, the radio worked and the heat worked and now it doesnt. They claim the reason that my heat,radio and lights dont work is cause my battery was put in backwards, thats some bull. And to top it off they didnt even fix the problem cause now the van is randomly cutting off do to wires that are touching. I have a family and this is so dangerous and its winter time. They need to stop working on cars they cant fix. The mechanic name was Jay. He told my boyfriend all this craziness. Im taking my van back there to speak with a manager and if we have any problem Im calling the news and filing a claim against them for poor labor and want my money back or do the damn job right. Do not visit the one on Nottingham cause they do horrible work.

I have only had exhausted work done by them, but they do a great job ever time. They have worked on about 3 maybe 4 of my cars and the price is reasonable. They my be a little high for other work brake, suspension,engine but you can expect quality!

My experience with them wasn’t a good one. I went in on the 28th Of December however they had no sitting room so I left and came back and drop my car off around 4 o’clock. I was informed by the mechanic that I wouldn’t have my car until the next day which was fine. I called about 10 the next morning to see how close they were to putting my brakes on and Jay said there were 2 car ahead of me. I didn’t know at 12:00 PM that my car will still be sitting in the lot untouched. Either they only work on one car at a time or I was put on the burner because I wasn’t there waiting. Either way it doesn’t mean I don’t need my car any less than the next man. I’m on my way to get my car. I think they are very slow and Inconsiderate.

I will be filing a claim against them, had 2 lower control arms replace and my truck was still not right. After I took it to place across the street (great guys) they drove it to rainbow to have them fix my control arms they place on truck wrong.. when I call them back the new manager of 2 week says that you know the weather on OHIO.. i told him its summer and I just car fixed.. Got to love a real shop because the guys from across the street just went back and picked up my truck to fix what rainbow ruined and did not know how to fix telling me nothing they can do but replace my whole sub floor..smh .. Also 600 for alternator on my Benz and it still the warning light comes on..DONOT use these guys.. are the cheap yes.. but will they lie and ruin your car...YES 8/3/2017

Manager stands at the back conversating and distracting mechanics. Costumers come in and have to wait 10 to 15min. Before he realizes they are there.

Absolutely horribe. My breaks went out completely a month ago and the company had my car for almost 3 days prior to even looking at it. They did semi fix my brakes so they nearly went out again last week on Thursday so I risked my life and drove the vehicle back to them. I completely understand that the shop was busy however, my vehicle should hsve been looked at on Friday at minimum but of course it was not and I received bogus word from the gentleman who works the front desk that he would call. I never received that call so Saturday out of frustration I went in to check on my vehicle and my car still had not been checked and yet they are still taking in other vehicles. My advice to anyone do not take your vehicle there un less you have lots of time to wait absolutely unsatisfactory the way the treat their clients.

Hated staff ALWAYS look NASTY. I believe they sabotage a vehicle in order to get return business . STAY AWAY!!!!
