They were helpful but I didnt use there services since my problem they didnt fix. However they did refer me to a helpful honest person for my car.

Price was a bit steep but was done in a very timely fashion. Was told 45 mins to an hour wait but is fact done withing 25 mins.

Has been in the same location for over 50 years! However, I had a very long wait today for the oil change on the company bus I drive.

I am a certified mechanic I took mine 97 Chevy suburban to Safeway to get a wheel alignment because I do not have one in my shop they told me that parts on my truck were old and no good I knew that to be false because I had just put the parts on the truck they are cheating people out of their money. They did not know that I was a certified mechanic and they still tried to charge me a service fee before they would give me my keys. I will be reporting them to the better business bureau. This is pertaining to the Safeway on Superior avenue in Cleveland Ohio.

Downtown Safeway Tire & Car Care is my favorite Go To Shop when in need anything for my car. I have snow tires and performance tires, both sets of tires were purchased from Safeway. Mark, Peggy and the staff, have always provide me with excellent service. They are friendly, courteous and informative. Today I went in for an oil change, alignment and one tire had lost air over the weekend. Mark showed me where I had picked up a nail and explained that they would be able to patch it. Peggy further explained that I had Road Hazard protection when I purchased the tires so there would be no charge for the repair. From maintenance to major repairs, I trust Downtown Safeway Tire & Car Care. I come from an automotive family and respect and appreciate honest repair work done right.

Excellent customer service great mechanic work

Very pleased with professionalism and customer service. Mark Yagour is a great guy. I especially loved their alignment tech since he is the only guy in Cleveland that could align my 67 Chrysler. It took him almost three hours to get it perfectly correct. I highly recommend Safeway to anyone reading this posting. Great job Safeway Tire!

Terrible costumer service. Paid $42 dollars for them to tell me what’s wrong with my car and they couldn’t do that, told me it’ll be an extra $85 an hour do run additional test.

Got tires here. In and out in 90 minutes. Competitive prices on quality tires (coopers). PLUS they offer no credit check financing through 3rd party companies (just make sure you pay it off within 90 days or get charged EXORBITANT interest).

Very nice and good service until you question their work. They flat out lied to me about what my car needed and tried to charge $500 bucks after they damaged my vehicle. Needless to say, I took it elsewhere to get a 2nd opinion and got my car repaired correctly for $120. BEWARE OF THIS PLACE

My experience at Downtown Safeway Tire was great! When I wanted to personally customize my car with new tires, Downtown Safeway had a large selection of tires to choose from! The customer service rep named Warren was amazing. He took care of me very well! I was truly happy with my new tires and the service from Downtown Safeway Tire!!!

Best place for service on big rims

I was referred to Safeway and had a great experience. Fast, easy and best prices. They even gave me a ride to work when I dropped my vehicle off in the morning.

If I could I would give this company negative stars. These people are the slowest auto shop I have ever been to. I went to this place a 3 days ago to buy a used tire. Was waited on as soon as I arrived and went into the where the desk is, no one was in front of me. I was told it would take 30 mins to change the tire. An hour and 20 minutes later I was out the door. I am NEVER going to this place again. They werent even concerned what was taking so long until I had been there for 50 minutes already. And still refused to live with any urgency, instead all offered was excuses.They are the worst and I would not recommend this place to anybody. TAKE YOUR MONEY ELSEWHERE!!!

They do a great job on your vehicle.

They charge $25 for estimate, you have to come in... all other places I called give estimates on the phone.Its not refundable if youre estimate is too high and you go elsewhere, but it is applied to the total cost of the job, which Im sure isnt padded more than enough to cover that $25.

This place will have no problem in ripping you off. Strongly advise you avoid at all cost . Cost it will cost you when you deal with this tire co. Go anywhere put here .

Ive used this shop half a dozen times for our work trucks, and had good repairs done at a fairly decent price. I purchased 4 brand new tires for my personal vehicle, with the explanation that the stems and rims would be cleaned as needed. Within the span of a week and a half I noticed a slow leak in the exact same location (D/R) as I previously had over the last year...also the reason for the visit.As a result of not purchasing a road hazard package, they would not assist in any form with this leak/now flat tire.Overall, I have trouble writing this review in a negative fashion, but I find it so disappointing that they did not offer to even inspect the rim or tire, regardless of price.I get it, by the clerks words, I didnt purchase the road hazard package. By definition and intuitive course, I assumed that the word hazard would imply some sort of hazardous object, driving scenario, or situation. Given the area and timing of this issue, I have to believe that the rim was not cleaned in a fashion that would allow a new tire to fit air tight.I avoid oil change places, because they inevitably attempt to nickel and dime you on flushes, cleanings, aereations and gizmos that are of no need. After this experience, I feel that Safeway has become what we all hate so much about the chain service stops.My car, and THREE work vehicles, soon to be four, will no longer be serviced at this location. Of note, perhaps at least offer to investigate the issue before saying no. It cost you thousands of dollars in business and my referrals to your location.Im sorry to offer up these words, but find it necessary.Jesse K.

Had my car towed there on a Monday, needed a Axel for my car, they never called me, I called the next day gave an approval to fix my car, they said it would be ready that afternoon, never heard from them, called the next day, some guy name warren said don’t kill me I forgot to order your part. The unprofessionalism was real, I picked up my car the next day because again I had to call. Never going back. Customer service is everything and theirs SUCK!

Horrible i stoped by because my car engine was misfiring cylinder 1 and 6 and i know my car needs new coil pack as i asked another mechanic at a different shop. It he couldnt work on my car due to short timung yet these guys insisted they would have to do diagnostic and its 85$ an hour even tho i told them what the problem was. Horrible attitude. I would never bring my car to them if i lived here.

Wish i wouldve read those reviews. Slooooow! Not to mention there was only 2 cars and like at least 10 mechanics. Went i for an alignment since my truck has factory 24s and they are like one of the few places to do it. They charge you 30 just to inspect it. They said i needed a control arm and they wanted 300 bucks for a $50 part. I showed the guy the price from same manufacturer (moog). He grabbed the phoned and said hey back the tahoe out!

Bought a 24 inch tire from them that was over price, had to come back again tire had a slow leak had to come back again because they didnt fixed it. NEVER GO THERE AGAIN. Quality of work terrible.

Terrible! Slow service.. paid 234 jus for a hose and clamp. To only not have problem resolved and come back 3days later for them to say oh you need something else which in their opinion will be 300$+ . Never again! I found cheaper places to go too!

Good service but didnt inform me my truck needed stuff before they did theyre work. So basically paid for something I didnt need.

Theyre slow as hell. I went for a wheel alignment then they told me i needed something for it that took it from $89 to $923 so of course i left. I believe theyre one of those places that break things in order to get more money. Never go again.

The guy there as I called him the idiot wouldnt come out and take a look at the tire that was right youre straight ahead that he could see after I had already worked 10 and a 1/2 hours he walks outside of his office that he said he couldnt leave to go take care of another customer tells me that I need to wait 20 minutes for him to walk in just see soccer by the logs for my tires then because I called him a name which I did I know I was wrong for saying that wouldnt let no one inside the building handle it Ive been trying to get in touch with the owner so if someone knows the owners name and number or hockey get in touch with corporate if they can leave some information I would really appreciate it because hes back for yaws business
