Love that I finally found a specialized mechanic to work on my BMW and be honest and trustworthy. Also enjoy that it is a female owner so she is good at explaining things to me that I understand!! They did a great job on the little things that I needed taken care of this time. I will now continue to use them for all aspects of my car and also refer people to them for their great service. From start to finish they did a great job servicing my 2006 Infiniti, and very quickly might I add! Specifically, they replaced the high-pressure power steering hose assembly which had a pesky leak as well as bad/noisy wheel bearing hub assembly. Great communication throughout the process and gave detailed estimates when asked. Would highly recommend their professional service!

I wrote a review about Import Service Center couple days ago where I explained that I was not happy with some work that they did and they contact me and asked to call them as soon as possible. I talked to them and we came up with a solution. I give them 4 stars because they are nice and they are trying to satisfy customers needs, however, I still think this place is overpriced for a private car shop.

Joanie has cared for our Toyotas for 20 years. They say our cars have been bullet-proof. It is her service that is bullet-proof!

I am so glad that I found Import Service Center. I had been using a shop in Knoxville, but needed some things checked out quickly, so I took my car to Charlie. I was amazed by the YouTube video, what a great tool for communicating the problems with the car! He told me the things that needed to be addressed right away, and the things that could wait for a while. I love this shop, and take my car only to them now.

3 years ago our son entered Lee University as a freshmen and with him came our 2007 Mini Cooper Clubman. Given that Lee is 6 hours from our home, we worried about how our son was going to manage car care since he would not be near a Mini dealership. Within the first few months of that freshmen year, the Mini’s warning lights went off. An online search led us to Import Service Center. That first visit would not be his last, but no matter the issue, Charlie, Joanie and the crew took great care of not only our car, but our son. We loved Charlie’s attention to detail. He was always quick to respond…either by phone or email…and the diagnostic videos were incredibly helpful…especially since we were having to make repair decisions from hundreds of miles away. Charlie was patient with our son and taught him much about car care. And his repair work was outstanding. What a relief that was to us on so many levels.Our son recently graduated from Lee and is now back in our hometown, employed and doing well. However, we will always be grateful for Charlie and the gang at Import Service Center for their skilled service and concern for our son. Nervously bought my wife a slightly used AS IS 2012 BMW X5. She has a taste for luxury vehicles, but I have always heard how expensive and complicated imports are to get serviced. The day after purchasing the vehicle my garage floor was covered in coolant from the engine. My heart sank to my stomach because I knew I just purchased a LEMON. After calming down an extremely stressed wife I googled the closest import mechanic near my home and found Import Service Center. The reviews were pretty solid so I called and talked to the owner Charlie over the phone. Charlie took his time thoroughly explaining the possible issues related to a coolant leak near the engine. He told me how to fix it over the phone! Im a pretty sharp handyman, but my mechanical skills are sub-par to say the least. We dropped the vehicle off the next day around 10:00 am, and around 2-3 hours later I received a text message with a YouTube video showing me exactly what was wrong. Charlie showed me exactly where the engine was leaking from, and what it would require to repair it. WOW! Im almost used to the 1 week delays, and getting the usual run around when servicing my vehicles. Charlie updated me with at least 2-3 videos throughout the day, and had my BMW ready to pick up by 7pm that night. Not only was that the fastest service Ive ever experienced but it was a FRIDAY NIGHT!Me and my wife are speechless! The total cost for fixing my vehicle was way lower than my expectations. Charlie and Joanie, you just made us lifelong customers!I never post reviews but I was so impressed with the price, communication, knowledge, speed, and all around great service they provided me I had to thank them again.I am a die hard Jeep (Wrangler) kinda guy, but having such a excellent and trustworthy service so close to home makes me want to buy an import myself! Charlie asked me to commit to a 10am appointment. He told me he would commit to a 5pm callback about a simple diagnosis I needed done. Unfortunately, I had to call him after 5 and was told he never got to my car all day. Dont give your word if you cannot follow through. Poor excuses were given despite the specific agreements. Take your car somewhere else. He wants your commitment but will not hold up his end. Word to the wise.

Wasn’t what I was expecting. Said I had multiple issues with my car offered no solution. Will not be returning. Very standoffish. Basically said I needed to junk my car. It just needed an o2 sensor (which I had btw) I also asked for a price on a part they didn’t give it to me.

Cant say enough great things about Charles. He saved the day after my sons car broke down on the way home to Kentucky. Charles found the problem and fixed it, staying a couple hours late on a Saturday to make sure the boys could get safely back on the road.

Joanie and Charlie are lifesavers! I feel so comfortable asking them questions and they always patiently answer.
