I bought a really nice pair of Tom Ford sunglasses here while traveling for work. The staff was super friendly and the selection was great! Also, I was pleasantly surprised by the great prices!

Ruby is the best sales associate I have ever come across. I would travel far distance from other Pearle Visions just to this location just to see Ruby with any of my eye care needs, whether it is a glasses adjustment or even questions on different eyeglass options, Ruby is very informative. Book your appointment today. Kelsie the store manager is awesome too, she is in charge of a good team.

I came in today to talk to Ruby, the rudest person on this earth!!! I scheduled with him an appointment to see the eye doctor next week. I asked for the name (first & last name) of the eye doctor. Ruby refused to disclose this information to me and became very sullen. He said that I would be seeing this female doctor & find out later. I said: No, I need to know who that is first. I need to find out her credentials, education, eligibility before I even became her patient. I am not blindly going in without knowing anything about this doctor? I canceled the appointment & walked out. DONT COME TO THIS PLACE, ITS THE WORST PLACE OF ALL THE VISION PLACES!!! NOWADAYS, EYE DOCTORS ARE EVERYWHERE. GO SOMEWHERE ELSE THAT THEY TREAT YOU RIGHT!!!

My husband and I went in to each get our prescriptions checked and new glasses/contacts a year ago.Sadly, the doctor gave us both incorrect prescriptions. My husband went back to Pearle shortly after to have his new glasses redone with his original prescription (which the doctor realized was actually correct). I never went back to fix it but do plan on going elsewhere for my next eye exam.

I would like to edit my previous 5 star rating down to a 3.Reason: I was told something would be ready in ten days and when I called today (11 days later) I was instructed rather curtly 11 BUSINESS DAYSThought it could have been handled a bit better.

Natalie, Dr. Roberts, Ruby and Kelsie were absolutely amazing! I did not know an eye exam could be so fun! I felt like I was their main priority and they truly helped me pick the perfect pair (three pairs) of glasses. I would highly recommend this company and especially this location! Wonderful experience with the Pearle Vision team last week. I was a little nervous because this was my very first eye exam but Dr. Roberts eased my anxiety and made me comfortable with the whole process. I got to ask him all of my questions and the team (Kelsie, Ruby and Natalie) helped me decide on a stylish new pair of frames. Thanks for taking care of me and making it all seem so much less scary, Dr. Roberts and team!

Stopped in to check out what they had to offer. Was greeted by a gentlemen named Ruby. If I could sum up my experience with him....he’s a hustler. I sat in front of him while he took a personal phone call complaining about betting against the Buc’s. Hit me up Thursday when I’m off he tells his buddy followed by it’s all Gucci. Wasted thirty minutes listening to him explain why the first quote was lower vs my final price which included my insurance was higher. Made no sense as he back peddled to explain. Definitely WOULDN’T recommend. Place is like a car dealership with up sell and smoke and mirrors.

First time trying out contacts; was encouraged to buy large quantity to “save money”. I used $500 of my spending account thinking that I would have a good supply for the year. I had to return to the store after a few weeks and pay for another visit as I was having extreme difficulty removing them. The doctor gave me a sample of a different brand to try and while they were easier to remove, they were very blurry and I couldn’t see at all. No one ever mentioned I had 30 days to make a decision to return and I have 2 large unopened boxes that the manager happily reported to me that I could not return due to this policy. I would not recommend this store to anyone ever. Everyone was so so pleasant and engaging when I came in, but didn’t educate me about the possibility that this could happen or inform me of a 30 day policy. Lesson learned; thanks for nothing except wiping out my spending account Pearle Vision!

I have been to many eye Care centers in the Tampa Bay area with not much luck matter of fact not any luck until I found Pearl vision of Clearwater the staff and the quality is very very good and I would recommend it to anyone thank you very much for all your professional Care. I did have one problem and I was promptly corrected and was invited back for future service thank you again God bless. Stephanie Kelsie and Ruby are all team players and Sarah.

Poor experience!!!!!!!! During the 1 st exam Dr did not listen that certain objects were blurry and fuzzy wrote the script for new glasses arrived 2 weeks later blurry distance and got a headache, 2nd Dr gave me a exam and He also didnt listen to my concerns that objects he was showing me were blurry and fuzzy 2nd pair arrives, and the display case in Pearle vision Lobby was blurry, Lady assisting me said raise your head/ gee i thought bifocals were for reading not distance just wear them for 2 weeks and allow your eyes to adjust??? she told me at this point, I asked for a refund which was granted, I also requested a refund for the 2 optical exams which was denied, I went to another optical outlet and the numbers were different from 2 exams at Pearle vision and the optician took the time and listened to me and and made sure the prescription was right and my Vision was clear, I wouldnt recommend Pearle Vision in Clearwater to ANYONE !!!and after advising Pearle vision Corporate office for the situation i was informed that the Clearwater office was a franchise, REAL good Corp assistance !!!

I should have looked at the reviews before bringing my family here. I was curious as to why our copay was $40 I thought maybe they mistakenly used our medical insurance at first. I thought our insurance covers the entire eye exam minus a $10 copay so I looked into our benefits and indeed we have a $10 copy. I immediately asked and they neglected to tell us that it would be another $30 for eye dilation upfront. Update: after eye exam they try to charge my daughter $70 for a contact fitting! They neglected again to tell her before the fitting that there would be an additional charge! Truly sketchy to not let people know about charges upfront! What if we didn’t have the money for it?? Needless to say we will go elsewhere from now on. Pearl Vision has truly gone down hill over the years and need to do better.

Terrible customer service. Ive worn glasses for 35 years. Its difficult to pick out glasses since I cannot see them well without my glasses on- obviously. Any place Ive ever been has been helpful in finding a pair, especially since I have such a small face and sometimes wear child-sized glasses. The pair I picked felt pretty good. The woman working there agreed they were a good fit. When they returned with the lenses in they were more fattened out than when I picked them. They tweaked them a whole lot and admitted that they are too big for me. I tried them for another week. The pain behind my ears is unbearable. Without causing that pain, they fall down my nose. They tweaked them again and said that I should have gotten a pair of Ralph Lauren because they run smaller. Coach are normally larger. This information would have been more helpful before I spent over $500 on a pair of glasses that are basically useless to me.

This Pearl Vision office knows how to give the customer the Ritz Carlton experience from the moment you walk in the door until the time you walk out. Austin greeted me by name when I entered and remembered the conversation we had on the phone as to why I was there. Dr. Rebekah came out and introduced herself. They were extremely professional while taking a sincere and genuine interest in you and your eye care.

Beware of the upsell. Tried to charge me $135 for an exam with vision insurance. That didn’t even include the contacts.Walked to Eyeglass World next door and got an exam and contacts for $10 out of pocket. Yes that is ten dollars. Mind you both were in network with my insurance.Staff is nice enough but this is just another example of a corporate chain trying to rip us off in order to boost their profits.

My family and I came down to Clearwater for a nice relaxing vacation at my parents place. On the second day into our one week stay, I ripped both of my one and only trial contact lenses that were prescribed to me by my Pearle Vision optometrist...back in Pittsburgh. I called the Pittsburgh office and explained my situation. They told me Pearle Vision offices are franchised and wished me luck finding a local office that would be willing to replace my trials. On my first try I made contact with Austin, manager of the Clearwater Pearle Vision office (not to be confused with the St. Pete or Seminole offices, which I didnt have to call because...well...read on.) My cell phone logged a 4 minute call to the Clearwater store. In those 4 minutes, Austin listened to my predicament, during which I rambled stating I knew they were individually owned and I would understand and respect if he couldnt...Austin kindly interrupted and in not so many words understood what I needed and why, then asked that I forward him my script. Six minutes later, during a two minute conversation, Austin tells me hes got what I need and to stop by when I could. Now thats customer service folks. There was nothing in it for Austin or his Clearwater store. However, I plan on coming down next year for my annual exam knowing the service Ill receive will be next to none.P.S. - My parents just said they will be switching from their current optometrist to Clearwater Pearle Vision store, managed by Austin, for their vision needs.

Definitely worth coming back! Facility is very clean, high tech machines and friendly staff membersI was greeted right away by the Eye Tech, Matt. He was super friendly and works very fast. As he was doing all the pre-check work on their high tech machines, he made sure to explain the process and made me super comfortable at the same time. No eye puffs or pupil dilations needed!Dr. Le was just as amazing. She took her time answering all of my questions and did a thorough exam.Afterwards, picking out my frames and lenses was a breeze with the help of the sales rep, Ruby.Thank you team- Cant wait for this experience next year =)
