The entire staff was friendly, courteous, and did an amazing job explaining the entire eye exam process to me as well as answering my many questions!! The young lady at the front desk was incredibly friendly and she had all the paperwork prepared and waiting for me before I even walked into the office. The tech. exceeded my expectations in both being knowledgeable and efficient with his time. The manager even went out of her way to greet me and make sure I had a valuable experience in their office. Lastly, but not least, Dr. Hossenlopp is one of the most caring and professional eye doctors I have ever had the pleasure of meeting/going to. I have already started recommending Dr. Hossenlopp to all my friends and family because this truly was an amazing experience! The way Dr. H explains everything is incredibly easy to understand and I felt like the entire team genuinely cared about my personal health!Such a wonderful experience!

Me and my 7 year old son had a horrible experience with Dr. Craig Hossenlopp. We were under the impression if we had questions or needed help with his new glasses we could call or come back in. When we did come back in he was upset that we came back in after a week and that we didnt wait longer. He point blank said its only been a week what do you want me to do? it would have been nice if he could have been kinder and explained my sons prescription without making us feel the way he did. He talked to me in front of my son disrespectful and after we left my son felt bad that he even complained about his glasses because he said the Dr seemed upset with us. Im hoping this feedback will help the Dr change his bedside manners with his clients and to understand that as a mom I was just going in with concerns. Ive already had calls from his supervisor apologizing for his behavior however it would have been nice if I received that fromthe Dr himself.
Can you stop spamming me with the automatic calls? If I wanted an appt, I would make one. I mean, every week I get a robot lady calling me. Otherwise the doctors are ok, I feel like they charge a lot for a basic exam. I usually woukd get a bill later after the insurance paid.
Dr. Hossenlopp is an exceptional Optometrist! He is always very pleasant and truly cares about his patients. I am a licensed healthcare professional and know and understand how important this quality is to patients and to the practice. As I age, my vision changes with my annual exams. Dr.H is extremely knowledgeable regarding the latest contact lenses and brands to best fit the needs of my vision. I have never seen clearer until I met Dr. H. I cant tell you how much I appreciate his expertise and personal touches that sets him apart from every other Optometrist I have been to. Keep up the great work Dr. H and Thank you! I went to an Optical Outlets last year because it was closer to my house. BIG MISTAKE. Every time I come to MyEyeDoctor, theyre friendly, thorough, and efficient. Dr. H is just about as good as they come.
I used to come here out of convenience because it was close to my job (innovision was recommended to me by a coworker). But a couple recent mistakes and a wait of almost an hour today for my appointment made me decide not to return to this location.I arrived for my appointment at 10:50 for an 11am visit. I called as per the instructions (I had already called once to answer some Covid questions) to let them know I had arrived. I was not let in til almost 11:40. There was no heads up on the wait time or the establishment being behind (this could have easily been relayed, I had called twice already). The people here seem to be nice but I felt that this was discourteous. I sat in my car for almost an hour, running the a/c. I almost left because I had work at 1pm and was afraid I would be late.Also, they don’t care about your glasses being done properly if you did not purchase the frames from them. I got lenses replaced in an old pair of frames that I loved a few years back. They came back and although i tried to wear them, I got very disoriented and dizzy each tome. I took them back after about a year and they told me that this was because the lenses weren’t done properly — something was causing them to be distorted (I forget the correct terminology). They apologized but I had been walking around like that for a year, and the amount that you pay for new frames and all the upgrades, one shouldn’t have to deal with that.
I made an appointment as a new customer last week online and entered my insurance information as prompted. I was curious about the cost of the eye exam as it can vary. So I called today and spoke with Terry. I ended up cancelling my appointment while on the phone with him. Ive never been treated like such an inconvenience in the duration of a 5 minute phone call. To say his customer service skills are sub par would be a compliment. There was a bit of confusion regarding duplicate profiles with my name so he told me to call the number on the back of my insurance card and they’ll tell me my copay. I haven’t used my vision insurance as of yet so I I had forgotten which one it was and didn’t have it on hand at the moment. I asked him what each profile had as the insurance in the hopes it would spark my memory. From the beginning of our conversation his attitude was condescending, rude and unprofessional. I hope Terry learns to provide an elevated level of customer service in the future. You’re welcome Terry. I could have been incredibly rude right back but I understand what working in customer service is like on a personal level. If you’re going to be rude I suggest not taking it out on nice people.
I was a long time customer until 03/20/21. When I was told to stand in the corner until an employee could take my temperature. Wow ok if my eye Doctor is really that concerned about the health and safety of their customers/patients/employees why not have patients sit in their car. And have ONE employee walk out to their car have the patient simply wind their window down and take their temperature OUTSIDE!! Rather then having customer come INSIDE AROUND ALL PATIENTS AND ALL EMPLOYEES LMAO WHAT A JOKE OHHHHH WERE TAKING SAFETY PRECAUTIONS OK AWESOME. SO COME ON INSIDE AROUND ALL PATIENTS AND EMPLOYEES TO HAVE YOUR TEMPERATURE CHECKED OK GREAT LOGIC THERE WHAT A JOKE TOTALLY DEFIES SCIENCE AND COMMON SENSE. AND WHY ARE PATIENTS COMING INSIDE TO SIMPLY PICK UP THEIR EYE GLASSES?? Not like the man I saw inside was even having adjustments made or being fitted for his glasses he was simply picking them up. I had an eye exam scheduled so obviously I had to be inside. What a joke if My eye Doctor wants to make COVID POLICIES AWESOME WHY NOT MAKE THEM ACCORDING TO WHAT SCIENCE SHOWS TO BE THE SAFEST WAY POSSIBLE?? WHICH HAVING ALL PATIENTS COME INDOORS TO HAVE A TEMP CHECK THAT COULD BE DONE WHILE SITTING IN THEIR CAR OUTSIDE MAKES ZERO MEDICAL SENSE WHAT SO EVER WILLFUL IGNORANCE AT ITS BEST
My first visit was during COVID-19 in August 2020. They take the proper steps to ensure safety for their staff and guest. Only appointment holders are allowed unless you are a minor then you must be accompanied by an adult. They check your temperature, spray your hands, and provide a face mask. Their machines and surfaces are cleaned. Optometrist Dennis Wilcoxon OD was very thorough and friendly. Staff was equally friendly. They have a good selection of frames.
My frame broke & I went there almost 2 weeks, I had to order a new frame and I was told that I would get a text letting me know when the frame was in, no text so I called this Morning and was told the frame was no longer available, my question is why wasnt I notified of that and I could have been in sooner to select another pair, I work from home and I need my glasses, I am not very Happy with this outcome & they were highly recommended 🤬
I am extremely happy with the professional and helpful service I received here and, their Seminole location had exactly the frames I needed. I love my new glasses, a perfect fit for me! I really appreciate the support I had from here in filing my insurance as they are a difficult insurance group, but myeyedr sailed me right through with superior effort on their part.
Dr. Dennis Wilcoxon was such a delight along with his wonderful staff. Everyone was so helpful, informative and friendly. Making an appointment online was so easy. Super happy I decided to come here & I cannot wait to get my new glasses.
Firstly if there was a negative star thats what I would pick. We saw Dr.H and he was so impolite and rude to us he told us we needed to have eye therapy except thats not really a thing in Clearwater! I would have never went here it was a massive mistake DONT DO IT !! Iwent to a normal professional and he helped!!
I went to this location due to my sister and mother just going there for their glasses and them talking highly of the customer service. They weren’t joking! Doctor was very thorough. My eyesight was a bit tricky so it took two appointments to figure it out, but I was ok with that. Doctor just wanted to make sure everything was correct due to me being a new patient! Also, I’m not too sure what I would have done without Jared! Too many glasses to choose from! He helped me pick the perfect pair!Highly recommend this location!

From the entry way to picking up my new glasses there in Clearwater, was welcoming professional and confident. Dr. H and staff were friendly especially the tech, Stacey and Jared. Jared helped me with picking out my frames and lens’s adjustments which was point on!
I have gone to several eye doctors and never experienced the care I received here. I originally went in only for an exam and dr.H was awesome he did the most thorough exam and explained his suggestions, the whole staff was really nice and fun to talk to. I wasn’t planning on buying glasses but I decided to solely because the staff was so great.
I was in and out fast, appointment setting was easy and the ENTIRE staff was helpful and kind. You can tell when there is a great work environment when all the employees have a genuine smile on their face. Definitely will return and recommend:

This place seems more a retail shop than a Drs Office. Theres quite a bit of upselling, and they dont like when you try to decline all the extras, theres definitely a little bit of pressure and attitude. I agreed to the purchase and paid, but after thinking about it I decided to cancel the order which was substantially higher than I wanted to pay, got a little more attitude then. So now I have to wait 4 weeks for a refund check because they wont put it back on my card. After years of going there when it was Innovisions, I will be looking for a new place.
I went to there old location, I did not need an exam just new glasses. Great service, very helpful when picking out my frames and no pressure to spend more on frames or any other extras. Will definitely be back.

Hope you dont need a refund after your order is incorrect 2 times in a row taking a month and leaving you without glasses. If you do be prepared to wait while they submit your claim to their corporate offices for a check by mail because they lack the technology to issue a refund onsite.I have been coming to this location for over 5 years and came back even after another location took over 2 months to deliver prescription sunglasses. Dont waste your time or money here. I wouldnt recommend this chain to my worst enemy.
I absolutely will not go to any other optometrist. They consistently go above and beyond to meet my needs. Their myannualsupply is awesome and such a reassuring program. Stacy is awesome and so is Arlene. Jarod is ok ;). Keep up the great work!

Stay away! These people are a joke.. not only were they rude but pushy also. If you ask questions be prepared to get dirty looks. Also a lady was in for contains the Dr wanted her to have a certain brand, the lady told her she couldn’t see with them and the dr rolled her eyes and belittled the patient. If I had been the patient I would have told her to go to **** and walked out
Everyone I talked to in the lobby have been waiting for an hour past their appointment. Scheduling is ridiculous. Insurance paid for exams then told it will cost an additional $100, havent even started talking about contacts and cost yet.
Friendly staff. First time using them last year, I think her name was Susan? She was so sweet to me. Gonna go back this year.
Incompetent staff. Location was good when it was Innovision and a different doctor. Now its a disaster. Save hassle and go elsewhere. They cant figure out how to bill insurance correctly.
