When you see one star from someone and realize it’s a principle you don’t care about, then it leaves you open to make your own assessment. Daniel was really helpful and awesome. For my deck he showed me a way to keep the same design and save more money. I would say that is a business that cares.

Staff was polite and respectful, however, they ordered me a screen door for the patio doors they installed in my house and it did not fit. Then, they wouldn’t refund me the money because it was a special order. Not a great policy if they want returning customers. Went to Lowe’s and got the right size in 5 minutes.

Endangering children’s lives!! Disregard for speed limits and hands free laws as they ignore signs for construction entrance. Speeding through neighborhood ignoring stop signs while children at play. They’ve been contacted about this yet it continues.

Front sales counter guy is friendly but yard manager? is nasty. pulled in there for first time with truck and goose neck, parking lot is full so only place to park is in driveway or pull in lumber yard in the way of forklifts so I picked driveway and he comes over and chews me out for parking there, idiots could at least make a bigger parking area for long rigs

Hands down the best customer service I have ever had. Called on Thursday evening to get a quote on cedar 4x4 posts. Tim Q called me back the next morning with prices then informed him I also needed 2x4s he then called back with those prices. I then asked if they had cedar pickets, he told me he could make a call. He called back with those prices. At no time did he seem frustrated on the phone or irritated, in fact we both kinda chuckled about the run around. So, after the back and forth with myself and Tim, and Tim with the suppliers I came into the store and placed an order Friday afternoon. When I was in the store went the extra mile and sold me 5 5lb containers of screws for the price of the 25lbers since they did not have the 25lbers in 1 5/8th inch, that saved me about 60 bucks.Tim K (I think his last name started with a K, sorry if it didnt) called on Tuesday to let me know my lumber made it in. So ordered Friday afternoon and all my lumber came in Tuesday morning. Went in picked up lumber after playing jenga in the back of my pick up truck. In retro spec I should have gotten the delivery service, but Im a cheap bastard.Thank you Tim Q, Tim and all the staff at 84 Lumber in Clarksville, TN.Dan
