Been wanting to check this place out for months now and finally found a good time to do so. I got the bold face cone with vanilla and chocolate twist, it was delightful. Definitely would come back again.

Easily the best soft serve in Cincinnati! When it comes to ingredients and execution dont expect anything exotic. Visit to experience the basics done very well! Only down side was a nearby local burning his weekly trash. Smell was a bit rough but you can call that west side charm.

Nice walk-up window service. Creamy whip style ice cream. Lots of flavored add-ins. I got a chocolate-vanilla twist with chocolate sprinkles. Beautiful view of Cincinnati nearby at the site of the old Price Hill Incline.

I used to live close to Putzs Creamy Whip and loved their ice cream. Now I live in East Price Hill near The Bold Face Dairy Bar. Friends told me their soft serve ice cream is as good as Putzs (considered the best soft serve in Cincinnati), so I had to try it. My friends were correct. I tried their vanilla ice cream for the first time today, and I was pleasantly surprised by how good and creamy it is, so very similar to the Cincinnati favorite Putzs. The difference between the two is that Putzs offers vanilla and chocolate flavors, while The Bold Face Dairy Bar offers a variety of flavors. Alas, Im still a fan of vanilla, although the next time I go, I might order the mint chocolate chip. It seems to me the Incline District offers a great day/night out. You can have coffee at BLOC, have a meal at Primavista, Incline Public House, Veracruz Mexican Grill, or Soma Wine Bar. And you can have dessert at Bold Face Dairy Bar. Theres also a theater on the Incline. Its a lovely day and evening out with an incredible view of downtown Cincinnati.

The ice cream is delicious, cute spot! The $12 Bold Face is not worth it though.

The ice cream was good for soft serve, but Im still a hard dip fan. I had chocolate ice cream with malt and chocolate syrup in the big size and the wife had a little twist. I think we both had the same amount of ice cream though. Overall, would definitely recommend if you like soft serve with different mix-ins and toppings!

Customer service was excellent. Soft serve ice cream was ok. Texture was a bit foamy and had a hint of marshmallow. Ordering was outside. It was raining when we visited so an awning would be a good addition over the order window. Overall a good experience.

This place is DELICIOUS. Their root beer floats are to die for. The ice cream is all served as soft serve. And it is so creamy and delicious. I highly recommend. Also they have beautiful outdoor seating, and they have super cool lights at night. Perfect date night desert.

Delicious! I highly recommend getting a milk shake - theyve got some truly amazing flavors going on here. We asked our server what he recommended & it was probably one of the best shakes Ive ever tasted! I think it had chai, caramel and oreos in it. Very decadent but worth it!

I have many allergies, and in glad to say that this place can accommodate for them!F the location is prime due to no competition and a great view ~200 feet away. However, the reason Ive rated 4 stars instead of 5 is due to the soft serve being above average and the variety of toppings.

Went on 6/29 @ 6pm. We were the only customers there. Despite this, we waited around 15 mins in the heat for 1 soft serve cone. Ordered the $12 cone, so we thought that might be why the wait was so long. When we got the cone it was a short/stubby melting cone. The taste was just ok. Yes it had some gold leaf on it, but for a $12 cone that took 15 mins to make, umm no. Sadly, will save my money and go somewhere else.
