The staff are polite and the ice creams are very delicious. They also have a combination of different tastes which adds to the value of the this place. The classic banana is a must here. Totally recommend this place and will go again myself soon.

This place is unique. Theres something better about this ice cream shop, because you get a feeling your eating a product that didnt seem to be premixed. I suggest you boldly go to a different flavor than your used too, only because your going to love it! And then dont forget the chocolates freshly made personally Id go for the mint if I were you but any strong flavor will be enjoyed because somehow they figure out how to make that perfect mix come here hungry but watch your wallet Its expensive.

Fantastic service, ice cream is always amazing, and they are always stocked on extra goods, like candies and fudge. They also have a good selection of gift wrapped boxes that looked very nice. They are located just a few storefronts down from the Montgomery Kroger. They do have limited seating inside.

As a native of Cincinnati, I can assure you this is the ice cream place you want. I love me some Graeters, and thats the more famous ice cream shop, but Aglamesis is the champion. Trust me

The lady and I had ordered 6 different flavors. I personally had never had ice cream from here so wasn’t sure what to expect. We ordered Pumpkin, Cinnamon, Strawberry, Mocha Chip, Cookies n Cream, and Coffee. Sampled all of them and they were all amazing; strawberry being a personal favorite of mine from Aglamesis Bros.

Very fun place to go for dessert. They make all batches of ice cream in the back of the store so all the ice cream is nice and fresh. There is also an array of chocolates and toffees to buy, including boxes of chocolates for gifts. The place is very family-friendly and has some cute tables to sit at. I really recommend this place.

I got Non-Parells as a Christmas gift! It reminds me of the ones my family got while growing up in Pittsburgh, Pa. 6 of us kids could not wait to be allowed to partake in! They were perfect!

Just like an old-fashioned ice cream parlor from ages ago, plus its an Cincinnati icon. I favor malts over shakes, but in most places you cant even taste the malt. The one I got here was spot on. And they dont just serve the glass full - they give you the entire container! The chocolate is rich and their seasonal flavors are amazing. Try the egg nog next Christmas! They make candy, too, and its delicious. Wide assortment for Easter. Its a great splurge.

On a trip to Cincinnati and came across this little ice cream shop. The Strawberry ice cream was amazing. My husband had the Dutch Chocolate says it was outstanding the best hes every had. Great place to get this cold treat.

Personally I recommend getting a sundae when visiting Aglamesis Brothers. I think their ice cream is good; but, their sundae toppings are some of best I’ve ever tasted. I love their marshmallow and hot fudge toppings, and you can get them both on the Basin Street sundae.

I love this place. The ice cream is so light and delicious. The flavors are amazing. Mint Chocolate is unlike any you have had. My favorite is the Dutch Chocolate. Friendly staff, amazing chocolates!

Based on my very sensitive pallet, Id venture to say there is as much as 50% sugar or other sweeteners in every scoop. The ice cream has a rapid melt rate, which means not as creamy as others. Ill stick with high end ice cream and sorbet from Kroger in Montgomery Square. After all, arent we all allergic to high sugar. I brushed my teeth 3 times when I got home and still tasted the sweetener.

I would recommend getting a specialty item; while the ice cream itself is good, the reason most people love Aglamesis is their sundaes. It is also a nice environment, as they provide menus and wait tables like in a restaurant. Prices are also pretty reasonable.

Locally made ice cream and chocolates served in an atmosphere that hasnt varied much from that established by the Aglamesis brothers in 1908. The two-step sundae (two scoops of ice cream, one topping, two scoops of whipped cream, and nuts) is the best value.

Its just another ice cream place but with a nice old fashioned touch. So even though its famous, dont expect anything special. The biggest downside is that inside seating is cramped. And its VERY crowded during the peak times...

On a snowy Friday evening, we drove 30 minutes for delicious milkshakes. This shop chose to close early for the safety of their employees. We walked up to the door and saw the sign. As we walked away, we were greeted with, “If you want to order to go, you can still get something. We just began cleaning, I wouldn’t want you to be disappointed.” All three ladies were very kind and friendly and happy to serve us our milkshakes. On top of that, they were all helpful to each other while sharing their closing duties. In a world of hustle and bustle, this visit was such a pleasant surprise!! Thank you, Aglamesis Brother’s, for making our Friday night awesome and for reminding us that kindness is easy and contagious.

Off to Japan and wanted to make some of Cincinnatis best chocolates as a gift. Purchased several varieties which I know will be a hit. They gift wrapped each one for me. Friendly staff.

I went for the homemade ice cream. The banana had little flavor and the peanut butter chocolate chip coated my mouth with Crisco like fat and had very few chocolate chips. Portions were small for the price.

Love the Aglamesis place in Oakley and when I saw that there’s one close to where I live I had to give it a try. Sadly it was a very disappointing visit. Ordered extra thick chocolate milkshake to go and instead got a runny chocolate milk drink ... As well, im pretty sure the size of the cup was smaller than the one at Oakley for the same price. DONT recommend going to this one, but definitely make the drive to the one in Oakley.

I purchase a box of chocolate that was great. My husband and I also sat for ice cream which was also great. I had the butter pecan and my husband had a bourbon one. The waitress which I am sorry I forgot her name but she was a older lady was a joy and her and my husband joked. The only reason why I give it 4 star is we had the Flappe. We are Greek and we are use to having the flappe with the ice cream but this was not the same as in Greece. When the flappe came the icecream was completely melted. I recommend making the flappe cold first and adding the ice cream after. Then it would be great.
