Fresh and enjoyable icecream! Seemed homemade and creative.Everyone loved the Honeycomb banana.I really enjoyed the uniqueness of the honey lavender, but my companions did not. The earl grey berry was also a hit with everyone.We enjoyed a triple scoop and sharing.

Saw Hello Honey on Tiktok and had to visit.Ice cream was very nice, we ordered Dutch Chocolate topped with Torpedo Marshmallow and also had Salted Caramel topped with Hot Fudge.We got cups, but they make waffle cones to order.Recommend.

WeHad several flavors all delicious and the Crispy apple bread pudding was more of apple pie but with a flaky crispy croissant, but its highly recommend if available. First time here, decent ice cream. Coconut sorbet was not that creamy. The pistachio tasted like almond liquor. Many ice cream shops substitute almonds for pistachio to save money. Ice cream decent for avg customer however I expect higher quality for the price per scoop. I will return and replace review if owner improves quality

Hello Honey has such unique flavors that you can’t get anywhere else! I love their ice creams and the owners are super friendly! Every time I come I always feel very happy being there and it’s never a bad experience! The waffle cones taste so good and are always made fresh along with the torched marshmallows which are such a good pairing! I love coming here and can’t wait to go again!I would recommend this place if you are an ice cream lover or if you just love the vibe of this small ice cream place!

Honestly, this place is really, really good. Brown butter caramel is outstanding. Blueberry cheesecake extremely good as well. Their small batch ice cream is wonderful. Its hard to stand out in Cincinnati where weve got some really good ice cream, but Hello Honey does! Stop in soon and often!

I really liked hello honey when I had it the first few times however the last few visits have not been so great. They are usually out of all the pastries. The ice cream cones are just not the same as it used to be and I feel like that’s what made hello honey unique and I miss that.

I really like that they offer unique flavors and staff was very friendly. We all enjoyed our ice cream however we believe the homemade waffle cones are on the smaller side compared to other shops that make them as well. We also felt the waffle cones had an unusual flavor we couldnt identify but just met our expectations rather than exceeding in regards to flavor. We would come back but skip the waffle cone. The cost is a bit on the higher side for portion size again comparing to other homemade ice cream shops.

I came in right around closing time and the guy that helped me was in a way better mood than I would be, given the situation. It’s a nice little shop with a couple tables and a counter by the ice cream bar. I got a single scoop of the Honey Lavender in a cake cone. It was nice and delicate with a really subtle sweetness. The floral notes were well complimented by the honey. It’s definitely a hole in the wall being in the downtown area that everyone should try. The flavors are exploratory and the one I had seemed well thought as far as the flavor ratios were going. I wish they had better cones, but otherwise, the prices were about on par with the standard high end, independent creameries. Give it a try for sure!

Wow. This place was awesome. You could smell the homemade waffle cones right when you walk it. Lots of fun flavors to choose from (Banana Honey Comb, PB Midnight Snack, Blueberry cheesecake, Pistachio, Thai Iced Tea etc). Take some time to look at them all. Definitely get a toasted marshmallow on top if you can! Highly recommended giving this homemade ice cream shop a try!

Such a simple thing as a fresh baked bread item with a little honey and ice cream. We had the croissant- honey toast and the next day came back for the bread pudding version (pictured).....fresh take on a sweet, nice to have something a little out of the ordinary.

I placed an order on line for a friend. She ended up getting really sick. She was in no mood for company. She was not able to get from bed. I contacted Hello Honey to change flavors to something I would like. It was last minute but they were beyond pleasant and accomodating. I got the Lemon Meringue and Blueberry Cheesecake. I have to say it, the Blueberry Cheesecake was probably the best ice cream Ive ever had! Period. Now dont get me wrong, the lemon was very good. But man the Blueberry was phenomenal.

I don’t usually write reviews, but this place is beyond amazing. Every time we go to Cincinnati we make it a point to stop there. I always get the Honey Lavender, which is an acquired taste but has become my favorite ice cream in the world and I’m so sad I can’t get it anywhere else (I have tried a few other places but none compare to Hello Honey). My boyfriend usually gets the Cookies and Pie, but that was recently updated to Cookies and Biscoff. He got it this past weekend and said it was phenomenal and he wants it again, I tried it and agree. You really can’t go wrong here. I’m pretty sure they are all flavors made in house, I think the owner is usually working the front though I can’t be sure (it’s usually the same guy though and he is always polite as can be). We have gotten their ice cream and warm cookie and it was amazing as well and their homemade waffle cones are made when you order, which is refreshing and I haven’t had anything like it. Thank you Hello Honey, because you make every trip back to Cincinnati a dream.

Tried this sweet treat spot for the first time during a weekend trip to Cincinnati and was so happy I did! I had the espresso chocolate chip ice cream in a waffle bowl! Both the ice cream and waffle bowl were homemade and tasted amazing! The service was exceptional and made for a very positive experience! I wish I had one closer to home but will definitely be coming back :)

This ice cream was really good! The flavors are creative and unique and the ice cream is creamy and the flavors burst. I enjoyed the brownie and cream which had giant brownie pieces in it. I also had the chance to try their blackberry earl grey ice cream, which was great as well. I ordered mine in a cone, which they made right on the spot and it came out warm, which was amazing. I will definitely be returning here and I would encourage anybody to give this place a try as well.

My daughter & I were in Cincy on a birthday shopping trip. We wanted dessert (whats a birthday without sweet stuff?) But neither of us wanted leftover cake. We both love good, hand crafted ice cream, so when my daughter found this place on Maps it sounded perfect.It was. Very small, cozy place with a few tables. This is small batch hand crafted ice cream, so youre not going to find the dozens of flavors youll find at the local megamart, but with quality like this who cares? Gentleman working at the counter was personable & helpful. And patient answering questions, we had a hard time making up our minds! I got layered cheesecake, plain on bottom & blueberry on top. It was amazing. Also a scoop of Dutch chocolate ice cream with an espresso. You pour the espresso over the top. Id never tried that before & it was quite good! She got a cold layered dessert that was topped with banana pudding, definitely better than Mom made. She also liked the hot chocolate topped with a toasted marshmallow.When Im in Cincinnati again Ill be back. There were lots of other delicious looking options to try next time!

We were stuck in the hospital and decided to go out for ice cream. We chose this place because the flavors sounded interesting. It didnt disappoint! If you enjoy ice cream but are bored of the same cookies and cream try this place. Its delicious.

This was our first time ever coming to Hello Honey after hearing about it from friends.....Best decision ever! The guy was great! The ice cream was fantastic and the smell of the made to order cones was amazing. Will be back!

I’m giving this place two stars, because I love ice cream. This place is No.... UDF or Graters ice cream, it was below average ice cream in my opinion. The place was clean, decorated cute and staff was friendly, but I would rather go to a different ice cream shop. The downside of this place is you can only choose from flavors of the day and had to pay $10 for parking. :(

I had the affogado and my husband had the whisky pistachio and the honey lavender. The affogado came out with the espresso and ice cream separate so I could control the pour, which was a nice touch. The ice cream was tasty, service was quick, and the location was cute and clean!

This small ice cream shop has more than a dozen flavors of chunky ice cream (solid bits to compliment the flavor of the ice cream), some ice cream based items (floats, sundaes, etc), and options in other categories (cheesecake, cookies). I tried a couple of flavors that were both good, and got a nice sized scoop of lemon meringue pie for $3.75. I enjoyed it and will be going back to try the other options.

Well, I tried to visit this place last Friday, but I stood by the counter for about 10 minutes and no one served me. I left and don’t plan to return.

The ice cream is delicious! I would love to come back more but the cashier made me nervous. He wore one glove and wiped it off after each customer with a napkin instead of washing or changing gloves. I ordered a fresh cone and he handled it with his bare, unwashed, hand. I had been here before and the another cashier had put gloves on before getting my cone and handled it with a napkin. This other cashier, the one with single glove, handed me my ice cream cone in his bare hand, took my credit card with that hand, and didnt wash his hands. My friend was next in line, also ordered a cone, and he grabbed the cone again, bare hand. I thought that was very gross and made me not wanna order again. I was concerned for my cone and my friends cone because he touched the cone right after handling my credit card.

I had the waffle cone with peanut butter midnight snack. It was some of the best Ice cream Ive ever had. The waffle cone was made fresh upon order and stayed warm till the very last piece. Whats better than the ice cream? The service, thats what! They remained open late till we order! Id like to live here.

My new favorite ice cream place in Cincinnati. Like I seriously cannot go back to eating regular waffle cones after having the handmade cones here. They’re crisp, freshly baked, and delicious. The whole place smells like them when you walk in. And the ice cream has the perfect amount of fillings. I had the blueberry cheesecake, and the cheesecake bites were huge! They have so many options that I can’t wait to try: cheesecake, peanut butter filled cookies, root beer floats, lava cake. All of it is handmade, and you can honestly taste the difference. I’ll definitely be coming back.

Amazing!!! I saw some wonderful looking photos online and turns out the taste is just as great as the pix!! I was served by a super nice and helpful guy. He helped go thru a few menu options and let me sample a flavor which I loved. I did the fudge chocolate chip and it was soooo good. It had chunks of brownie in it! Amazing! I got the roasted marshmallow on top which was homemade and also delicious!! I would highly recommend Hello Honey!

If you’re looking for a sweet treat, don’t look here.Ice cream is ordinary. The honey pecan was actually made with walnuts. The ridge brownie, only available on weekends is nothing more than brownie batter poured into a microwaveable bowl and heated until the top is solid and the inside is hot liquid. Topped with ordinary ice cream, it sells for $8. Stay home and have ice cream there.

Hello Honey is by far the best ice cream place I have ever been too. I got the burnt butter toffee ice cream in a Smores sundae. It was incredible. The ice cream was smooth and rich. They roast a marshmellow for the top of your sweet sundae. If you are even considering going to Hello Honey definently go!!

They have a Thai coconut milk vegan ice cream, along with a couple sorbet options. I found it delightful and light and tangy. No vegan cones as of yet, so there is a bit more waste with using a cup and spoon. Staff is friendly and accommodating. Talked to me about their baked goods and that they do sometimes have vegan baked goods as well.

This place gives me the warm fuzziest every time I enter. I want their warm, homemade cone and ice cream air to be piped into my apartment. I almost dont need to eat ice cream when I go because I can taste the air and its so good. If I was able, I would go get a different item from Hello Honey once a week.

Fantastic! Honeycomb Banana with toasted Marshmallow was amazing. I will be back often. Update: we have been back several times and it is seriously the best dessert spit in the city. The people who work there are the coolest, most friendly people in the city. The ice cream flavors are all good and a large selection. One of the best places in the city or anywhere honestly.

As someone who worked a an ice cream shop for years I feel like I’ve developed a good sense of what good ice cream is both flavor wise and texture/consistency and this place has some of the finest ice cream I’ve ever had. All of their flavors work and topping are made with as much care as the ice cream. They have deserts that are more than just ice cream and on top of all that the staff is just wonderful.

WOW. Went here for the firs time today during quarantine. The guy was super friendly and got our ice cream fast. Paid online and had contactless pick up. But MY GOODNESS, the Cookies and Pie ice cream flavor is my new all time favorite ice cream PERIOD. It was wonderful and we will be returning next saturday.
