We used JFK Window & Door Co. to get a new ProVia front door with sidelights, and back door. We even had windows removed from the breakfast nook and put in a sliding door there. They have a showroom in Forest Park. There is a variety of window glass appearances and door shapes and finishes to select from. We love the door and have gotten many compliments on it. I really think it enhances the value of our house. The doors are around 4 or 5 years old now and have always worked flawlessly. They are very solid, substantial/heavy, and leakproof. Nice installation craftsmanship. I think the front door plus sidelights was about $6k and the back door and back sliding door was also $6k.

We tried to get a door from them—they came out, they measured, and we never heard from them again. We’re ready to spend money on a new front door but I guess it’ll be from another more reputable company that communicates with people who’d like to do business. We called after three weeks just hoping there’d be an estimate— alas, no. Something about the size of the door window causing a delay. It’s been over two months now since they came and measured and I’m guessing they aren’t getting back to us. My recommendation: use literally any other door company.

The installation was great but after two years, the paint they applied to the door began chipping. John told me they have no way of performing an on-site repair so Im on my own. Paint should not be chipping after 2 years.Update 2021-06-10: JFK only posted their response here. A phone call, in addition to a response here, would have been appropriate and I would have modified my review. They should have my contact information from their files.I only found their response today. I had already hired a painter who used Andersen spray paint to fix the issue. I wish this had worked out differently, but Im simply not happy with the post-sales service I received.

Installation was excellent, the quality of the doors is outstanding. The installers were polite, helpful, and diligent. Everything went on schedule and they cleaned up really well. We have used JFK Door in the past, this experience further solidifies our high opinion. All the office staff are really helpful on the phone and John comes out and gives us excellent advice regarding which products are most suitable for our needs. They keep their promises.

Nice windows and WONDERFUL work!!! Very pleased and would highly recommend. John, the owner, really knows his windows. Michael and Andrew were the installers, and were awesome in their work ethic and fine attention to detail, in addition to cleaning up each and every day. We will go back to them when ready to replace our doors.

I’d love to post a review about how great they are but I can’t because they missed our appointment on Monday and we haven’t heard back from them. Going elsewhere!

The only do installations, not service.

We were recommended to JFK Windows & Doors when we said we wanted to have a sliding patio door with blinds between the panes. When I made my first telephone call, John, the owner, answered the phone himself. He was incredibly helpful and invited us to see the showroom. He sent Mike out to do some measurements and we were well in our way. When we went to the showroom their staff was very knowledgeable and they were able to show us a variety of options to choose from.The door came in within the timeframe promised. Mike showed up at the agreed upon time and got to work quickly. He was very precise in his installation. I can tell he takes pride in installing a custom made door instead of cookie cutter installations. He had to remove the old door and put up new edging inside and outside. He was was even able to reconnect the door alarm. The door is gorgeous inside and out. It has already made a difference with the sun coming in the house and keeping the temperature inside steady.If we ever need another door or windows, this will be the company we call. We would highly recommend this company.

After obtaining 3 quotes for Front and Rear Entry Door replacement we selected JFK Window and Door. Everything about this process exceeded my expectations. The initial work to obtain a quote from JFK was preceded by being shown a satisfied customer list of comparable door and window jobs performed in my Zip code. I was able to see nearby neighbors jobs enabling me to gain insight into the quality of the work JFK performs. I am very pleased with the overall strong quality of the Provia door we selected. The installation team was first rate, and very professional. Their clean up was meticulous as was their attention to detail during the install process. The front office staff is excellent to work with specifically being very responsive to some of my normal post install questions. I highly recommend JFK Door and Window.

JFK did a fantastic job of replacing our windows. From the quoting process to scheduling, and the crew doing the install, I couldn’t be happier. John was great to work with, between understanding the different Anderson Window models and his recommendations. We particularly were very happy with their ability to match the window wood trim with the rest of our wood in the house. My wife and I were very happy with the quality of work that was done. We were very glad we choose JFK! We plan on using them to install our ProVia Door.

We used JFK in 2018 at our old home. We installed a new front door, rear exterior door and door into our garage. We were happy with the service and product.We moved to a newer home in 2019 and asked JFK to come price doors again. It was as if we had contacted a different company.I had a date and time set up for John to come give an estimate early 2020. He called when he was to be in my home and said he had forgotten our appointment but had to make other appointments and would be at my home four hours later. There was never apology for this inconvenience.When he finally showed up I explained that we had used them not 16 months prior and again wanted to replace the front door, an exterior rear door and the door into the garage. We also asked for a price on a new sliding glass door.When we received our quote we were shocked and disturbed. Apparently when you change your address you change the price structure and professionalism received.The sliding door, as we have no comparison, can be set aside but they said that would cost $6,500. We have installed a sliding door previously and know that price to be astronomical.We had a quote on the same front door as an option on our last home. In late 2018 it was quoted as $6,275. The proposal we received this time was $8,300. Same model number but smaller sidelights.The two additional doors were priced together at our old home. The door to the garage is identical while the exterior door we requested was full glass with internal blinds versus half-glass with internal blinds. The total for those doors at our old home was $3,400. The total at our new home was quoted as $5,500.Clearly, when we changed our address JFK decided to gouge us with the price and hope we were too lazy or stupid to realize. I reached out by email and asked they take another look at their proposal and take another shot at it. I asked for a proposal that reflected the information we had and our loyalty as customers. I had to follow up with a phone call days later as that email was never acknowledged.After another lengthy wait for a response, I got a call from John. He was befuddled and confused and I had to remind him yet again that I was a repeat customer from less than eighteen months prior. He said he needed to go back and compare the contracts and would get back to me. He called later that day and proceeded to tell me that I was wrong and that the $4,125 price difference in doors was reasonable and a reflection of labor and material increases. He didn’t realize that while we had installed a different front door, he had priced the exact same model number less than eighteen months ago and had increased it’s price by over $2,000.He stated that he hadn’t quoted the doors and that I was incorrect. I pushed back and reiterated that I had done my homework and that they were being dishonest and gouging us on the price.John hemmed and hawed and tried to throw his office personnel under the bus stating that he wasn’t to blame for the meteoric price increase. He assured me he would go back and make some price adjustments but again tried to state that we were comparing apples to oranges and they weren’t the same doors. I told him I wanted it all in writing.After discussing the unprofessional and dishonest business practices with my husband I quickly called John back and told him that we didn’t want to do business with them anymore. He was attempting to mansplain how wrong I was, but I have the facts on my side and they simply got caught in a lie they were unwilling to correct even though we extended them multiple opportunities to do so.

We are very happy that we chose JFK to install a new Andersen sliding french door. The installers were on time, completely professional and took great pride in their work. The wood stained interior was an exact match, looks great and operates perfectly. Thanks JFK, John and Janet, Maineville, Oh.
