It is to Michaels what Home Depot is to Lowes. Mostly the same. Friendly cashiers though.

I cant stress enough how much I love this store. They have a wonderful staff who goes above and beyond to provide assistance if needed, their rewards program is wonderful and allows you to collect rewards quickly and effortlessly, and their prices are better than most other craft stores. Not only that, but they always have additional coupons and will accept competitor coupons, as well!

Best place to shop for home and craft supplies at discount prices. Lovely staff. Rewards program is fantastic. I have earned two certificates for $10.00 each of free items of my choice. They have everything you need to make your home and hobby needs.

First time here. So many things to look at. Some of their prices were a little higher then normal. Many things didnt have prices. Sales people were helpful. Store was clean. Teacher discount. I would certainly go back.

Usually they have 3 or more registers open, tonight there was only one. Selection and sales are great, if you dont mind standing in line for 10 minutes. I stood in line because the sale was great.

I love this craft store. The layout is great, sales are great, the rewards program is awesome, and the crew members are always very knowledgeable and friendly. My daughter broke a figure and not only did they not charge me for it, the cashier went and got the exact same one to replace the broken one with.

Good price and big selection. Walked around the store and saw 4 employees and not one offered to help. The register clerk was busy stocking the shelves by the register. While everyone was busy working none were engaged with the customers.

Great store with super friendly and knowledgeable employees. So sad they are closing! I hope they open another store in the area.

Brand new store! A close convenient store. Extensive inventory most at reasonable prices, reward program Plus lots of good coupons. A MUST see.

I really like AC Moore. Prices are competitive and their house brand yarn is better than the big name brands.

All of the canvases were buy one get two free my gosh you cant beat that and the brushes and paint were on sale as well. Cashier could have talked but my experiance in the store was great and the lady helping me knew all about paint

They had what I was looking for and the store is nice and clean. The associates on the floor were very helpful and courteous... then I got to the register. I needed to return an item that wasnt what I needed for an even exchange with a different item and I accidentally brought some kind of coupon that printed on second receipt rather than the actual receipt. I got shut down by the cashiers manager (who wasnt actually helping me) saying I needed the original receipt unless I was a rewards member. No one explained or pitched the rewards program to me so of course I didnt have that, but I wasnt looking for a refund anyway (in fact I was spending more money) I just needed to exchange an unopened item. Ive worked in retail for a long time and I know theres a number of different ways she couldve taken care of the situation and she just wasnt in interested in helping. So I buy my new items outright and bring the item back another day with the receipt.While Im standing there getting the return processed the next day I happened to read the refund policy posted at the register that says I CAN bring back an item without a receipt for a refund within 60 days at the lowest sale price, so the exact opposite of what the manager said. I tried to engage the associate over the issue but she was too busy complaining about me taking all the cash from the register to listen (I paid with card in the first place and it was only $32). No one was outright mean or rude in any of my interactions, just not at willing to help or do anything beyond clerk the sale.I wasnt really planning to leave a review about this issue but the second time around when no one at the register was willing to try even a little bit to give decent customer service I figured I would take the survey on the receipt so a DM or someone would know... and lo and behold there is no survey on the receipt. I dont like leaving negative Google reviews because I view it as a little passive aggressive but when no one at the store is willing to speak to you like an empathetic person and there is no way to leave feedback for the store directly, I guess this will do. And Im not calling out names or descriptions because Im not trying to get anyone in trouble, I just hope the associates can learn something from this interaction and be better in the future.Oh and also, the coupon that caused all this strife was a bounceback coupon for a sale on a specific day that no one called out to try and get my return business. Guess it worked, because I dont think Ill be returning.

For such a big place it is short on higher quality products but good for someone making art on a budget. S small locally owned shop may be more expensive but also exponentially more responsive.

Since Michaels closed on Paxton I needed a new place. Lots of supplies and I needed a sparkly yarn that I had previously been having trouble finding but they had multiple colors of some.Only thing to note is that there is no other business open in the strip mall so walking to the car alone was kind of shady.

Signed up for the app got instant coupons and fell in love with the yarn. I was looking for soft yarn for lap blankets to donate to Hospice. It was a wonderful score.

I have been visiting the new store in Newport Kentucky that opened recently. Overall staff and the store are better than anticipated and pricing is very good (4 stars).My complaint lies in the framing department on several items of note. First of all they had a 70% off sale and I went in to get something framed and they quoted me a price after the discount for $600! I asked is that with the 70% off and they said yes. So another words that would’ve been almost $2000 to frame a picture.I finally figured out a way to get it down to around $250 I had also mentioned that I am a veteran and they offer a veteran discount.So you have to pre-pay 100% for the order to be made which I did and left. Then I checked on the progress of the picture a couple weeks later and got out the receipt and noticed I did not get the veteran discount and they also stated they’re way behind and the frame chosen wouldn’t work we have to change frames etc. we figured out how to do all that and then finally getting to the day before that it was due and I contacted the store at approximately 530 in the afternoon to see if the order was complete. I was placed on hold for several minutes a second person picked up the phone and said who are you waiting for whichninstated framing department to check on an order and they put me back on hold and then disconnected me.I called back and spoke with somebody and they stated that there’s nobody in the framing department right now you’ll have to call back tomorrow. I asked then there is no way for anybody to look up to see if an order is complete you don’t close for another 4 to 5 hours and the person said no you’ll have to call back tomorrow.I have been in the retail world for over 40 years and certainly not what you would expect for great customer service much less at a new location with new customers trying them for the first time. Find it very hard to believe that there is no capability of somebody to look in the system in their point of sale to determine if an order is complete or not.Therefore a one star rating for their framing department and it has me questioning if I should patronize the location whatsoever not to mention I am going to have to fight to get the Veteran discount refunded or credited I am sure. So four stars for the store which gives an average of two overall.FOLLOW UP. Contacted location this morning on Saturday the 16th the promised day for delivery and it is not complete. They do not do this in house and they said their next shipment doesn’t come in until Tuesday no apology no offer to provide anything else whatsoever for service recovery so I downgraded to a one star

They have the largest selection of yarn out of any craft store and are always having sales. Plus rewards members get at least one coupon every day.
