Best College Bookstore to get your merchandise, textbooks, school supplies and more

This bookstore is in #tangeman university center on the main square of the #uccampus. It is a big place almost overwhelming upon entry. The staff is friendly and helpful. At the entrance theres a #giftcard display. In the back right corner theres a tech support area. The student working here is very competent, helpful and friendly. Your can buy your laptops and ipads and tech accessories here. Just walking through the store I observed they have everything that you need to live on campus for fun like games and books & the serious school work too and snacks! For more food options there is a smaller store just adjacent to this one. Getting into #tangeman university center as of April 2021 requires a school pass with monitors at the entrances. All necessary #covid precautions are enforced in the store. This is the one stop shopping place on the campus for the students and the staff. Great place to get University of Cincinnati gear including hoodies, water bottles, keychains. Keep in mind that the gear available here is a bit pricey before you plan to pirchase here. Great place to buy or rent out textbooks

So great to see students back on Campus. The store was hopping!

Not the cheapest prices you can get but I expect that from the university when a Ramen packet on campus is over a dollar when its only 20 cents anywhere else. Great selection of UC gear though. Take it from a senior: Buy your books for cheaper online. Amazon has great rental options, and you know theres other options out there too.You have to get your graduation apparel here though, which is about the same price they had in high school except we rented the gowns then. I wish there was a rental option for the undergraduate gowns at least, as youre only using them for a few hours, especially here during the COVID graduation walks.The staff are always very kind and helpful.

Everything was priced just like you were at any other college.

Not answering any of its phone calls and did not send me the program I paid for online. After driving and walking hours with my mask on I was told at the main store that the online product I ordered was actually being shipped to my house and would likely take a week. If the product I am supposedly supposed to get does not arrive by Friday I will have no way to complete my assignment and will lose 10% of my grade. The store itself has no way to contact the distributor of the product on their own site so I have no way to cancel the order and may need to pay for it again just to be able to download it before my assignment is due. I never thought I would need to say buyer beware for a department of my own university, I plan of filing a complaint.

Sophie is a wonderful employee! Helped me find exactly what I was looking for and even helped me when I made a small spill with my coffee! Great interaction with the customers will always have me stopping by on my way to class!

Be really sure that the person checking you out isnt brain dead, as they may check out your rental as a purchase and then refuse to buy it back at the end of the semester, scamming you out of a significant amount of money. Mind you, I noticed that the employee was ringing my book out as a purchase and corrected them and watched them put it in again and just assumed they would do it right the second time. Not coming here again. Ill spend more money if it means I wont have to deal with these people.

Ordered an item on December 10th and waited a week with no email updates or any information. Called and sent emails with no replies back. Order was cancelled on December 26th due to lack of inventory... I sent multiple emails afterwards since my account has not been credited back yet. No response again. Called today to be told that its not their problem and that it was a different company I bought it from even though it was from their site. Avoid online orders!!!!!!!!!

Ride selection from book, clothes, to accessories and technical difficulties. Clothing is high rare discounts but some of the clearance stuff is still decent. Also do price match for books.

Most course books are pretty pricy and from time to time the on-campus bookstore does have competitive prices. I would recommend shopping around though to make sure you are getting a good deal. Also, they have great student pricing on software.

Placed an order on Dec 12-live in the same city-order didn’t make it for Christmas even though it was promised to arrive-one of the items I ordered magically sold out so they weren’t able to fulfill that-now I can’t get anyone to answer the phone to try and find my order. I wouldn’t recommend ordering from them.

Bought my first macbook pro here. Knowledgeable staff. Fast and friendly service. Plus they have a good variety of UC merchandise.

Its a college bookstore. You are going to get what you expect. The staff is helpful and friendly. Thats a plus.

READ BELOW REVIEWS.I ordered a jersey from the UC Bookstore five days ago and I never received an update/email for my order about if it was fulfilled, shipped, etc. I called and spoke with an employee who said they can’t sell it me because of a pricing issue. He transferred me to the merchandise manager who asked for my order number and when it was given to her, she stated they won’t sell that jersey because of the price that THEY listed it as. I also was told she can’t see when I ordered it, what name it’s under, etc.. assuming she didn’t want to help. She said I would’ve been notified eventually about not receiving it, but couldn’t answer as to when that would be. I was hung up on soon after.Bottom line: If you order something online from the bookstore, you’re taking a gamble as if you’re going to receive it or not.

Basically what can be expected from a university bookstore meant to provide basic tools students on campus might need for classes.As most places meant for convenience it is pricey and you could find the same thing or better online or somewhere else if youre planning ahead and not just there in the last minutes of needing something.They have textbooks and a small selection of folders, notebooks, and writing tools on the bottom floor by the cafeteria. Upstairs they have apperal, a random assortment of books for your free time, and a small amount of other merch.

Very very pricey, but other than that, I love the convenience and location and selection at the bookstore on campus.

Stationary is expensive

BAD SERVICE, NO FOLLOWUPS. BUYER BEWAREI ordered *one* simple item — a hat — as an Xmas gift on NOV. 25 to bring home to family over the holidays. I didn’t realize until nearly a month later that I had never received any updates on the order status. When I called, they said they were “backed up” but offered to deliver the package personally to the recipient; however, someone would have to be home to receive it. I called back, didn’t reach anyone but left a voicemail on the manager’s phone instructing her to leave it at a different address where someone would be home. She never checked her messages and instead left me a voicemail saying she’d call me again after Xmas to see if I still wanted the hat. Now, instead of a phone call from her, I just got an email saying my order was fulfilled and the hat would be shipped to my home in New York. Merry Christmas, U of C Bookstore! Thanks for nothing!

Staff were rude. Saw one female employee mocking an Indian student’s accents. Unbelievable! This is a university campus, not your trashy mom’s trailer home.

Staff was helpful. I had to graduation robes and gear.

Really great store with an amazing selection, helpful service and the location cannot be beaten, being right in the middle of campus. My only complaint is that this place has terribly high prices for what youre getting. I went to buy a pair of sunglasses and paid double what I found on Amazon.
