A friend turned me on to Smart and Final. Honestly I only go when they are convenient to me because I rarely find everything on my grocery list. This location is one of the bigger stores I’ve been to. Guess that’s the reason for the “Plus” on the sign. I must not have been to a plus before because this location actually had everything I needed and I even found some stuff I rarely find. The employees were helpful and friendly. There was plenty of parking. I would shop here again.

Always get a recipes!! Merchandise is never priced right, they always over charge, prices on shelf are cheaper than when I pay. I always have to walk with an employee to show them the tag prices on multiple occasions.

Great Store, Great Deals, just make sure you go when they have sales. I have gotten chicken for under a dollar a pound. They have a Huge selections of coffee beans. (Love my fresh crushes beans). They have Have this wall with all these bins that have tons of snack options. Also great sales on sodas. Bakery even has vegan cake!

Went to Tera Nova Smart and Final grocery store around 4;30 pm yesterday bought First Street Brand ground beef, sliced water chestnuts of the same brand, some vegetable and sliced pork blades. Kept the meat in the fridge overnight, when I opened the pork package this morning smells rotten, I rinsed it with water couple of times tried to cook,, rotten odor was present so I discarded most of it save one slice to show the quality of what I have gotten from their store. Not even an hour ago tody went to the store and spoke with the manager name LEVI, insisted that the pork package did not come from their store, unfortunately I lost the receipt as evidence. It is only little over ten dollars worth but the attitude of LEVI, the manager is least to be desired., Kept on insisting I probably went to different store, it was only yesterday how can I forget, HELLO! WORD TO THE WISE, STAY AWAY FROM THAT STORE THEY SELL ROTTEN MEAT.

I love all of the people who work there, everyone is so friendly! The line is never TOO long, they have good deals on beer, and again, everyone who works there is so pleasant and helpful and willing to stop what theyre doing to assist customers.Also, the workers to gather the carts always have a pep in their step. I know that doesnt impact the customer experience but I hope management notices how everyone who is in the parking lot stays moving vs taking their time gathering the carts. There isnt one person working there that Ive seen slacking, ever!

There are times it is a great experience shopping at this store then there are times it can be very weird!You are supposed to be very comfortable while shopping at store for over 2-years or so,But this is not always the case.If you compliment a nice cashier because of her nice attitude, then she is gone. There is not always a very friendly environment there at this store,A lady once said she was the new manager for that store then all of a sudden she is gone,Why are the friendliest people there at this store always seem to disappear?When you have friendly employees then it makes the shopping experience well worth coming back.But if you feel uncomfortable because of the constant new employees then it is like “never give anyone a compliment then they will disappear never to be seen again”!I must admit the store is always clean but there is a limited frozen foods selection.You try to be loyal to a local business but does that go both ways? I am not concerned about the store and how they schedule their employees, but rather having a excellent shopping experience not a bad shopping experience,A good store will always want to have a relaxed shopping experience so word of mouth will urge other potential shoppers to visit this store, correct? I can remember trying to compliment the baker on their baked goods and she just ignored me, the following week she walked by and I just said: Good Morning!That is just one example of how the attitudes at this store goes from week to week.

Great place to get groceries. The prices are reasonable and the produce it A+ They have a decent bakery selection. I also like that I can find many items here that are hard to find right now during the pandemic like toilet paper and cleaning supplies.

Clean store that is easy to navigate. Employees are helpful and respond to customer needs quickly and respectfully. Great selection of foodstuffs, and even had restaurant size items like eggs and butter. No complaints about this store.

I have shopped at the Terra Nova Store since it opened - managers and staff go out of their way to help with finding products and the cashiers are friendly - this past year the stock has been hit and miss, I assume mostly because of covid. What does surprise me is the H street store doesnt carry some items that both Spring Valley and NC do. Like stuffed mushrooms for example. I do recommend this store - their prices are very competitive.

This store is the best! They have a decent selection of wine & beer, meats, produce, normal grocery staples. Their prepared foods and deli counter are good. The customer service is awesome. A bit pricey but worth the value!

Why are they not responding to their phone calls . If you don’t answer phones then close your store !

Located right off the 805 Interstate take the H street exit and it is on your right hand side in the Teirra Nova shopping center. It is very clean, organized, and has the medium sizes opposed to the big bulk sizes. Store management is adhering to covid precautions but line and waiting time are minimal. Prices very reasonable.

Nice clean store that had the eggwhite wraps I was looking for.

Easy access in & out, lots of fresh meats & produce for the wise shopper. Look for the weekly specials. Never more than a few minutes wait in line, even when there are 10 ppl ahead of you. My go-to store.

Good system for distancing check out and friendly cashiers. Monday they were restocking, so some things were low. Easy grab and go displays. Canned goods, like soup, are a little pricey and not a huge selection. But overall great neighborhood store.

I always seem to find what I need here and avoid the crowds at Costco and Walmart. Prices seem fair and fresh fruit and vegetables look excellent

I liked this store better than the one by my house. I had a situation that was handled right away. it was my mistake but the cashier did her best that she could so she called a supervisor. Safe and had all the stuff I needed and wanted. Even things I didnt know I wanted. Also some of their prices were competitive with Costco.

Shop at H street often - some cashiers are a little more friendly and helpful than others, but overall a pleasant experience. The only thing I would recommend is - at other stores, when items are 10 to $10 you only have to buy one item to get the $1 price. At S&F you have to pay the regular price for one item.

Good produce. Working hard to keep things in stock. Very well organized checkout during these Covid 19 times.

As well as credit & debit cards, they take Apple Pay, Google Pay, and Samsung Pay. if pay in cash, they ask for exact change because of a national coin shortage.

I just HAD to leave a review somewhere. It was my first time EVER stepping into a Smart & Final & Im so glad I did as I had an amazing experience and the prices are insanely good. The staff was extremely courteous. This is what excellent customer service truly is. The cashier even put my bags into my cart. When I left, the man picking up the carts by the parking lot offered to take mine. Ill be back! Continue doing what youre doing because a lot of other places lack in it.

Love that is not crowded during these times of COVID19. Giving 4 stars because there is no one sanitizing the carts. They do have desinfectant spray and towels available, however, I find it inconvenient only because I personally like to sanitize with gloves on because my bare cracked hands cant take more chemicals on them.

These are rocking during this Covid-19 😷 thing...everyone is always polite, courteous and helpful...keep up the good work guys( and gals).👍

I like to buy fruit, vegetables and meat. Good quality a bit pricey than other places like Walmart or Ralphs.

Overall a very good morning shopping at Smart & Final at Terra Nova. Would like to see restock of the fruit platters mixed and strawberries with creme while still early in the day. Cashier was professional and pleasant.

Came after a night of shopping for the holidays. needed to pick up some items for an impromptu Christmas party. Selection was great. I did not get her name or title but a nice woman walking around looking like she runs the place was very helpful and even told me what to do to make a suggestion for a product. Theyve got the worst website in existence. It does not allow access to your local store...without jumping through hoops. Even after being saved as my home store. I enjoy their product and pricing, but their website is beyond frustrating.

Ive been wanting tangerines for a long time and I finally found them at Smart & Final large ones too. And I made some split pea soup and they had a nice vegan mix with seasoning all I needed to do is add some potatoes and carrots and some chicken broth plus diced ham and turned out delicious. Also they have filtered water outside in the giant machines and we found help from one of the young gentleman that work at Smart & Final he picked the Big 5 gallon jug and he also walked us to our car and lift it into our car for us. THANK YOU that was a great help.

Good experience but this store needs to be on top of things,certain items on shelves need stocking...

Great store somewhat expensive but you do get quality products

They had everything I was looking for.

Well organized, reasonably priced. Just pay attention to the Best By dates for packaged food products. They also carry a complete line of kitchenware basics (for me). I come back here for that a lot. No frills. But they have what it takes for me to get my cooking done.

This is the place I would normally go for quick and easy stuff. Just left extremely disappointed. The cashier at the fast lane Anna was extremely rude. Is it because I had 15 items that you have to scan & do your job?. Did Not offered me bags, no interactions, placed my items just on top of the counter, & finally I had to go around by her & bag my items. I clearly am needing to bag more & I had to ask her to buy for another bag. It felt like I was bothering her. I come here 2 to 3xs a week no less than $100. I highly believe in customer service. The place is great but please teach her customer service.

This a great shopping center in Chula Vista. Visit Smart & Final Extra!, and everything you see here is exceptional. Lots of branded shops, pricey but, surely worth it to buy! the center is super clean and the atmosphere is awesome. A must visit!

Smart & Final is a great place to shop that is less expensive. The only draw back is that they dont carry as wide of a selection as other grocers. Though, it is a great place for food businesses because they carry bulk and large items for cooking, serving, and cleaning.

Cant speak for all the employees but the two I had interacted with were not very friendly at all. Was not a good shopping experience dont know if I will ever back to this location!!!

This store is very big and clean. I usually order my cotton candy supplies on amazon, but they sell it a lot cheaper here. Also for the slush drinks, amazon will sell the half gallon for about $12-$15, the full gallon is usually a lot less here. Staff are friendly abd usually not a long line. Next time, ill be sure to check smart and final before ordering on amazon.

Wide isles, great selection, very good produce

My experience was great until I went to check out and the girl with all the fancy rings in her lip. decided to give me an attitude because I asked if they had any discounts for senior citizens or military. I joke about it and asked for a couple more discounts I would like to get, like for my bald head or my fatness she wouldnt even crack a smile. Of course she had dyed orange hair and the anti-social attitude to go with it.

Still out of cleaning supplies like toilet papaer, liquid hand soap, wipes and also lentils.

It was very clean and people there were very helpful.

Ive been told that the only way to get coffee beans back on the shelves is to leave a review. I like this store for a lot of reasons, but you lose 3 stars just so you see this Dan.

Expensive it seems since the pandemic all prices have gone up 10 to 20 percent.

The checker was in such a hurry she threw my groceries including fruit into my bag. I had to rebag everything. There were only two checkers on a busy Saturday. Produce was great and cheap. Prices were great. Everything was in stock.

Smart & Final has all my products and amazing low prices. The staff is friendly and very helpful. My shooping experience is always satisfied. I recommend theyre Rostier Chickens are to run for!! 😋💦💦 (Juicy and tenenderly plump!) I definitely my Smart & Final Store.

Good place to buy bulky

I was very happy to see this store open and they have a good selection. I dont think the prices are that great. Maybe Sales items but not everyday groceries. I will still go there but not for great bargains. Staff has been friendly.

This place is good for buying in bulk if youre having a hamburger and hot dog bbq. They have some select meats and most of the Supermarkets things, always a good spot to get that last minutes meal add on.

This place still charges for bags even though you cant bring your own. Items sold with limits should also be marked and have visible signs in the general area. Friendly staff but their business practices drop them to two stars.

Great deals and product line up how ever the cashier made me feel she didnt trust I was the credit card holder and also double checked she scanned everything and I wasnt stealing. This also caused a long line and wait time for othe customers. I was buying snacks for a work event and I felt uncomfortable.

NO NONSENSE SHOPPING! Everything I wanted in small or large quantities.

There staff seems to be a 50/50 mix of good employees willing to help, and idiots who just stand there ignoring you, who cant/wont help you. I like to come here for the shredded cheese, since it is really inexpensive if you buy 3 bags, and they have good steaks here, much better than at ralphs.

Okay I normally shop at Costco because I know you get the best prices in the best customer service I went here because they had a ad set for 12 packs for $10 okay meaning all 7-Up products I pick what I want I go to the register guess what Pepsi is a 7UP product but its not included in the $10 Im at the register talking to the manager manager still wont do it okay so much for Smart and Final I wont be back I will continue to shop at Costco where I know I get the best deals
