Excellent store with a very helpful staff. I bought a used printer from the Goodwill and they helped me get it running again. I would highly recommend the Christiansburg Cartridge World. I personally dont know that i will ever use them again as a first-choice ink supplier. i dont have a lot of time after work to run errands during the week before places start to close so i was glad when i checked online before leaving blacksburg and saw that their hours were until 6pm on weeknights.i got there with a little over 15 minutes before 6pm only to find the door locked and the shop closed. i called right away because i was hoping someone was just in the back and didnt realize the door was locked (for whatever reason) and got a voicemail - so i left a frustrated voicemail. then i drove back and got stuck in that construction traffic on 460 that started up again near the exit for the stadium.this whole situation never shouldve happened. if the hours of a business say until 6pm, it shouldve been open until 6pm. the owner returned my voicemail shortly after saying she didnt know why the doors were locked and offered a discount. thats nice, but it doesnt take away from my gas and time on a busy weeknight that i set aside specifically to run this errand. that evening when i got home i went online and ordered from amazon. the ink was a bundle deal and was delivered to my doorstep within two days and for the lowest, most competitive cost online, all without worrying about store hours and traffic and wasted time and gas.i know what people say about big companies like amazon and i do what i can to support local businesses, even if theyre just franchises - but when it comes to something like the situation described above, i do not have the time nor patience. if you want to compete against companies like amazon you have to stand out and stick to what you say youll do.i did return a call to the shop to speak with the owner towards the latter half of a weekday a few days later and the person who answered said she had already left for the day and offered to give me her cell number (which i thought was strange, because i would never give out my supervisors cell phone number). i turned him down and hung up. i hope she had previously authorized him to just pass her cell phone number out...
