After reading favorable reviews for this business, I contacted them to diagnose by 2012 Ford F250 6.7L. They are indeed very busy which is always a good indication of a reputable business. The business personal and owner were very honest and communicated well about my vehicle. Because of the specific need for my vehicle it was recommended I seek someone specializing in computers for the 6.7L truck and I was given a referral and not charged for evaluating my vehicle. Many mechanics would have charged me for an evaluation and diagnosis but Sean was very kind and obviously runs a business based on ethics verses just making a dollar. Thank you to Roberts Automotive and I definitely recommend this business for your auto repair needs.

I had an issue with the intake on my Duramax Diesel that affected smog. I took it in and saw Sean. He and his partner were eager to help me and they were super polite. They took time out of their day (and lunch) to help solve the problem I was having. This is the definition of good customer service. They could have said, “Sorry Buddy, can’t help ya.”, but they didn’t. They cared. Any and all of my future diesel needs will be taken here. Thanks guys.

Bought a used 2003 diesel truck and wanted to have a few things done to it plus just get it up on a rack and have it checked out. Called Roberts Automotive from a Google search. Spoke to Sean, the owner on a Wednesday and made an appointment for the following Tuesday because it fit into my schedule. I pulled up Tuesday morning, Sean walked out of the garage before I was even all of the way out of my truck. He extended his hand and addressed me by my name without consulting anything. I found this impressive for some reason. Anyway, he listened to what I wanted, made some suggestions of his own and I left. I went back at the end of the day, he had the truck on the rack, waiting, so he could walk me through everything. He found a few issues and pointed them out and told me what he thought about them as far as their urgency. The guy is a genuine straight-shooter, theres no b.s. and he didnt try to sell me anything I didnt need. He prioritized the stuff he thought I should do and staged it out to work within my budget.Ive dealt with a lot of mechanics in my life and know a good one when I find him. Sean is the real deal. Oh, and if you need a Ford 6.0 bullet-proofed, hes your guy

Sean backs up his work and is all about making sure your vehicle is Safe & Mechanically Sound, in that order, and that if there are other issues that arent in your budget at the time, he will do the repairs in the order of their priority to insure that your vehicle will serve you as long as possible. He is honest, straight forward, and runs a respectable and clean shop, will provide transportation locally when it is needed, and educates customers to prevent vehicle problems in the future. If you want it straight when you have a vehicle issue, you cant find a better place to do business with.

I have had Sean work on a number of my vehicles. Just had him lower my 2017 Escalade. I feel he is better than going to the Dealership. Very honest, high integrity and skill level. Not met a better mechanic in all of Chico thats for sure. Highly recommend him.

Took my Diesel to Sean after he was referred to me, by a friend. He checked my truck for a fluid leak from my engine, Sean diagnosed the leak promptly. He also informed me of some other issues of my trucks front suspension, which I was very grateful for especially after seeing how dangerous it was. What a great shop. 5 STARS for sure
