We have had both our Mazdas serviced there for several years and theyve always been really cool (Steve has also been awesome). Theyve helped us with a warranty claim, gotten us in at the last second for a service, and have always worked with our schedules. Ive never felt that theyve tried to be unfair or upsell us on useless parts. They are one of those rare car service places where I trust their recommendations and wouldnt think of going anywhere else.
I did some work for the dealership when they opened a few years back, recently I found myself in a pinch, needing a good, reliable fun car, I made the call, having a good idea what I was after I worked with the sales team to not only find the perfect vehicle, but work within my limited budget. The sales team went above and beyond delivering my car a few counties over and completing the sale paperwork on delivery. Their attention to detail is what really impressed me about the experience, thank you Chico Mazda I look forward to working with you again

Took my vehicle in for oil change, alignment, tire rotation, and basic inspection (60k miles). Was told my brakes needed to be replaced and rotors machined for north of $300.Had this checked by another shop, who told me the brakes still have another 7k miles on them. Also, the other shop noted that the tires did not actually need to be rotated (which was my mistake to ask for it, but Id expect the dealership to note that and not perform and charge me for an unnecessary service) and that the engine air filter was filthy and very much needed to be changed. The dealership mentioned nothing regarding the engine air filter, which should ABSOLUTELY be inspected in a basic inspection service.So, in summary, my car was not inspected accurately and I was upsold on a not-yet-needed service.Also, numerous employees were not wearing masks or respecting social distancing guidelines in any way whatsoever.
They do not care about your safety!! I brought in a vehicle for a diagnostic and a recall, they told me it would be a few days. A month later they let me know it’s on national back order and would be another 2-3 months. I left a negative review and they rushed my vehicle out the following day which corporate already mentioned was illegal. I receive the vehicle and when I got home I reached into the back seat and the whole seat lurched. They did not properly reconnect my seat and let me drive away in a hazardous vehicle. Do not give your business to these people if you value your safety.

Though I was not in the market to buy a car the day of my first visit here, I was pleasantly surprised by the excellent customer service I was given. Prices were talked about briefly only because I mentioned it. There was nothing pushy about my experience, just educational and straightforward. I hope to be back to buy!
Repeat Chico Mazda customers here. We bought a Mazda back in 2015 and had such a smooth experience that when we started looking for another vehicle to lease, they were our first stop. Worked with Britton on the sales side, who was great with getting us info, test drives, and making it an overall positive process. Once we were comfortable moving forward, the whole team was a pleasure to work with to get things finalized. Overall super pleasant experience and Id highly recommend checking them out for anyone in the market. The vehicles are great, but the customer service sets them apart.
I bring my Mazda3 here for routine maintenance. The staff is always friendly and helpful. They have a clean, comfortable waiting room and the shuttle service is very convenient. On my most recent visit, my service consultant Nick even threw in a complimentary detail service which came out great.
Very knowledgeable salesmen, very helpful in my car search. The new building has a very well thought out waiting room. I had my kids with me and they enjoyed the time in the play area and didnt want to leave. I got a great car at a great price and couldnt be happier.

He spent a lot of time working with me to explain all of my options and try to figure out what would work best for me. This is an ethical, no-nonsense dealership. 5 starts forsure!!!
My daughter was traveling through northern California right before Thanksgiving and had car troubles. The car was towed to Chico Mazda and even though they had a full schedule, they diagnosed the problem promptly, called for authorization and offered her a loaner car so she could make it home for Thanksgiving. I cant say enough about a dealership that would do that for a new customer. Excellent service, communication and repair facility! I would highly recommend them to friends and family!
My first visit was great. Laura showed me a car, let me know what rebates were available.The sales manager however, was very shifty on the price negiotiation and didnt want to give all of the rebates that were eligible, much less come down on the MSRP on a new 2019 model in the middle of February 2020.At one point he offered a lower price with nearly double the interest rate and began to pressure me to sign. Sign it! Its a good deal! His pressure felt wrong and I walked, when I got home and saw the interest rate shift, I knew I wouldnt buy a car from these people.I drove an hour and got a loaded 2020 for the Chico Mazda price of a base 2019.

I came here for a Mazda Cx3 in 2018. I had a credit score in the 800s and was applying for a special promotion of a 0% APR loan through this dealership. I triple checked that they would not pull my credit score more than once. Guess what happened? They pulled it 6 times and trashed my credit score, bringing it down to the low 600s. Never coming back here.
I would give Chico Mazda 6 stars if I could! The service team is incredible and always strive to have your back by doing the right thing. Its easy to be taken advantage of when taking your vehicle in for service, but this team is transparent and HONEST! Barry, one of the Sales Managers, is extremely knowledgeable and works hard to find you the right deal to meet your unique needs. Brandon, the General Manager, is friendly and is a total car guy who loves what he does and it shows. Its a pleasant experience when dealing with someone who is genuinely passionate about what they do and will work hard to see you leave the lot with a smile on your face! Mark and Amy are kind, local owners who love the community they serve! Its worth every cent to support this local dealership and save the gas because you dont need to go anywhere else whether youre getting service or buying your next vehicle! I needed my 10,000 checkup and service done and was very pleased to see the new Mazda building. It has a very comfortable waiting area with a play zone for kids. My three grandkids had a great time and I couldn’t have been happier with the quality of service done in a very timely manner.
Im having a hard time with getting a car and some one got my driver lics there and also files my loans under someone else name and I believe his name is brandon iv been to that one location at least 3 - 4 times now

I came in from being towed with a transmission problem on my Mazda 3. Corporate covered it completely and the service department was super helpful, very friendly, and helped answer questions I had. I dont live anywhere close to here but I would recommend them highly.
If I could give them 6 stars I would. They are great. We purchased a car from Keith Anderson last Saturday and the whole experience was a game changer for the car buying experience. They made it very easy and hassle free and got us the car we wanted at a great deal. The general manager Brandon helped us out with a few things and followed through with everything. When they say they are going to do something they really do which is a refreshing experience. I will refer everyone to Chico Mazda and to Keith!
Hostile Employees, lack of attentive care and customer service skills, horrible communication. Almost called the cops on the manager for his aggressive behavior. I Leased a vehicle and they failed to properly title it and it took them 2 years to fix it. Eventually they stopped responding to my calls and ignored the issue forcing me to ground my car and terminate the lease. They refused to take the car back and told me to get off the lot and get lost. DO NOT GO HERE, I REPEAT DO NOT GET INVOLVED WITH THIS DEALERSHIP!
Willie and the service department worked diligently to diagnose the cause of the horrible squeaking coming from the rear of my car. As it turned out, our pre-owned car most likely had been in an unreported accident and the shoddy repairs were causing the problem. Now I have the car that I love back and I dont have to turn the radio up or roll the windows down to drown out the noise. Well done Willie and staff, well done!
Good service my only complaint is they still dont have some if the tools to be able to do the recalls on my wives mazda 6 grand touring. By the staff in the service shop was very easy to work with.
My husband and I bought a brand new car here last night and it was both of our first time doing such a big thing but Britton, our salesman,( but didn’t feel at all like a salesman) was absolutely the best, and so genuine! We felt so comfortable right away and the staff made sure we got exactly what we wanted even after 4hrs of trying to figure out the perfect choice for us. We went to 2 other dealerships previously in Chico and this place was by far the most honest, kind, and overall they deserve a 5/5! Whittmeir and chico Hyundai wanted to talk numbers almost right away and just felt fake. It felt like we were talking with friends, not people who would do anything for a sale at Chico Mazda!
The guy that worked in the service department was extremely rude to me as soon as I walked in. I was advised to go to the dealership by my car insurance company because my vin # didnt match my vehicle. He told me he cant do anything for me and to call the state of CA...

If I could give a zero I would. Here is the list of fails by Chico Mazda Service Center.....1. They told me I had a nail in my tire and referred me to les Schwab. They looked at ALL tires and said there is no nail at all. That was a massive waste of my time.2. I noticed some strange black spots all over my hood after they washed it so I called the service rep whos name is willie and left a voicemail and asked if they used any special product and asked for a call back to see if there was a way to get it off. Wasnt irate and didnt accuse them of anything just wanted to know if it was a wax or something that could be washed off. He called me back days later and told me he had no idea what I had done to my paint but it was on his initial walk through so it was nothing they did and I basically need to figure it out myself.3. My center compartment was completely secure and functional when I dropped it off with them. I go to pick it up and now whenever I set my arm on the center part it wobbles because the hinge part suddenly has a broken piece that was never broken before. I didnt even bother to call about this one because Im sure once he got another voicemail from me somehow that would show up on the initial walk through that willie did as well.So basically going to Chico Mazda Service center cost me $80, a broken center console, messed up paint on the hood of my car, and a waste of time having to take my vehicle to a tire place for a nail that was never really in my tire. I will NEVER take my car here for any maintenance or any other issue for that matter because I will probably get it back in worse condition than I dropped it off in AGAIN. Beware using this service center they dont care about you or your vehicle AT ALL.

Had a very pleasant and enjoyable day purchasing my Mazda CX5. Sam was very knowledgeable and helpful pointing out pros and cons of other cars I was considering. I never felt pushed. Be prepared with questions because Sam knows cars.With probably every dealership there are the additional packages offered pretty strongly as you are at the end of a long day and down to the contract signing with another sales rep. So ask if it is ok to change your mind after you consider the fine print the next morning. Changing my mind about my payment plan was easy to fix, no hassle.Also, I absolutely love this car. If you are interested in a very nice ride with AWD, Mazda is more closely comparable with Subarus performance than Honda or Toyota.
