This store is literally few blocks from where we live.Had a scoop of coconut crunch and chocolate chip cookie with hot fudge.Loved it.Appropriate amount of sweetness which is very important.Definitely recommend!

Pretty good ice cream but a little pricey for ice cream. The smell of fresh waffle cones being made makes up for that though. Smells are free!

Omg, their Gelato was delicious. Unfortunately their huge chocolate and caramel covered cashews were sold out both times meaning this is a major purchase and must be very damn delicious. Ill try to snag one on the third visit.

Excellent chocolates and ice cream. The cashier got a little frazzled and placed my chocolate order directly on the scale and the credit card reader malfunctioned. He recovered after starting fresh with new chocolates, sincere apologies and a super friendly smile 😊.

I’m from the East Coast and had never heard of Kilwin’s before but now it’s going to be at the top of my list of ice cream places to stop any time I see one.We went to Kilwin’s Michigan Ave in Chicago and the kids loved watching them make waffle bowls and the parents loved the high quality ice cream. Definitely worth going again and again!

Saturday night when we had an amazing fireworks, store was closed at 9 pm!!! Saturday 9 pm!! I wish I had enough money to be a competitor they wouldn’t last 2 months

Their prices are extortionate, and their ice cream is bland somehow? I would have spent less and had a better waffle bowl sundae if I bought tubs of ice cream and waffle bowls at Costco.

Finally made it back. I tried chocolate ice cream, then purchased a few chocolates. But this apple was Just DELICIOUS. juicy, crisp and tasty. Covered in pecans. I want another.

There smoothie was refreshing and amazing. 1st visit and I will be going back. If you love chocolate this is the place to go and prices are affordable.

Kilwins always has to have some of the best treats and ice cream in their areas, but this location also featured a wonderful staff that really took the time to make us feel at home even when we showed up minutes before close. Definitely recommend it!

I visited Kilwins today, and I was so happy to purchase Raspberry and Lemon Sorbet. I ❤ the customer service I received from the manager. He was very knowledgeable about the product I had questions about. I cant have milk products, so he was very helpful to me about some desserts that had dairy, and didnt have dairy. I was very impressed by this young man. I look forward to shopping at this location again.

Went bike riding on Sunday stopped by for some desert. Got the strawberry sorbet.

I finally went there! So my boyfriend and I walked in after our lunch date. When you come in you will smell all the chocolate fudge being prepared and you will want to just move in there! We ordered the one scoop of chocolate caramel swirl with nuts. I forgot the actual flavor but it was sooo good!

Kilwins was delightful! They have an excellent assortment of fudge and chocolate candies for you to choose from. Not only do they have chocolate, they have delicious ice cream as well. This location on the magnificent mile was perfectly located near our hotel. We were able to try different samples of both fudge and ice cream. We really enjoyed our visit to this location.

Love their peanut brittle. Icecream is pretty good too. Famous for their fudges which look amazing but 900 calories per slice. Lol love to try though!

Super yum and quality ice cream! Got a lot of flavors and options to choose from. They also sell fudge and candy and different drinks. Super quaint and retro looking place with a little space to sit down and enjoy the air conditioning or get your yummies to-go. The service was awesome and the location is prime right on michigan Avenue. Only think this place is pretty pricey. I get it they make their own waffle cones with Kilwins name imprinted but $15 for two, one scoop waffle cones? That’s gonna break my wallet haha. Definitely yum but maybe once a year.

Place looks nice the Chocolate is off the chain had a chocolate covered twinkie blew my mind and The Workers there really love chocolate gave great detail about each item to choose from love this place

Knowing me...I probably already left a review; but everytime is like the 1st time! This apple pie icecream is so worth evvvvvveeeerrryyyy calorie! This has truly become my guilty pleasure. The only thing they are missing is lactose free icecream...but this flavor alone deserves 5 stars! It is a must try!

Very chic location and delicious ice cream! We got the banana fudge pie, and I loved it a lot more than I thought I would have! I also tried a sample of the kooler thats raspberry lemonade with Sprite, and wow was that refreshing! I would definitely go here again!

Service is always timely even when they have a full house. The service was very welcoming and sociable. The place has an awesome atmosphere. Menu is similar to a restaurant in El Paso I loved.

Took at least a minute for the worker to even acknowledge us and while he was serving us he was staring at his phone. Generally cold demeanor and made me feel like I wasn’t supposed to be in the shop even though they were very much open. All I can say is disappointed. The quality of ice cream however was impeccable and had great taste.

Would give 5 but still no indoor dining at this location

The customer service wasnt that great. It didnt make me want to have a return visit. The associate acted as if she wanted to go home and she had no enthusiasm or energy.She also had no samples of the fudge which is what I came in for. They had a lot of fudge to choose from. They also have an array of different chocolates and desserts to choose and purchase. Prices are moderate to high. Fudge starts at $10.00 and no samples to help you choose.All in all it was OKAY because they have good selections and a lot to choose from . I just like to feel welcome when I go to a store to spend my money. Improve the customer service.

The service was great and the sales associate was super helpful and nice. The place was clean and the displays set up provided folks like myself - not familiar with Kwilins a opportunity of all that the confectionary shop has to offer. I decided to try their much to hear about ice cream. I went with the two of the original flavors or your basics Vanilla and Chocolate - not a fan of Strawberry because of the real fruit placed in the ice cream. I will probably go back and try another flavor much later, but the chocolate didn’t taste like chocolate and was kind of bland; on the hand the vanilla was pretty decent even thought it really didn’t look like vanilla. I also tried and purchased some of their chocolates. I haven’t been a fan of Milk Chocolate since my teenage years because MC has a tendency to be too sweet for my palate. So I purchased instead a couple of Dark Chocolate cashew pixies or turtles, a couple of Dark Chocolate covered Carmel’s and a Dark Chocolate Peanut Butter cup. Here is my assessment of all purchased - the Peanut Butter cup was smooth, rich and had real peanut butter in the middle and was really good - much better than anything you buy in the grocery stores, if you know what I mean. Any confectionary shop that sells cashew pixies or turtles get a big nod in my book because I haven’t been a fan of the pecan version in years. Their version of the chocolate covered cashew turtles was good, plenty of cashews mixed in with real fine smooth Carmel - nice!!! I really didn’t enjoy their Dark Chocolate Carmel as much, the DC part had no flavor, the Carmel had a weird tastes and was kind of hard like it was old. All and all this place has much to offer besides the things I mentioned above and I will be back to try another ice cream flavor.

1 Star for misleading info. If you look this location up on Google, it says they’re open. It displays normal business hours. I go out of my way to get there, just for an employee wiping the windows to say they’re closed bc they got looted. No damage that I can see, but okay. Someone was behind the register as well, therefore looking very open. If this business isn’t ready, they should make sure their hours on Google and other highly accessible and visible platforms reflect that as well.

Definitely worth a stop if you’re in the area. Greeted by friendly staff and immediately offered free samples of their delicious fudge. I had to stop myself before I was too full for ice cream which is what I went for. A huge selection of various candies and caramel apples. I found the pricing to be a bit steep for me to take home some sweets (I also didn’t think they’d survive the warm day in my purse) but the ice cream was fantastic and a lot of delicious choices to choose from - plus they let you sample that too! Yum!

This place is truly amazing. I used to go here all the time as a kid in Michigan, I didnt even know it was a chain until recently! Everything they make here is delicious, but fudge is definitely the specialty. Pick up some ice cream for now, and so e fudge for later if you can!

We loved it here! So many good ice cream flavours to choose from and the waggle cones are made right there in front of you! It smells amazing as soon as you walk in and there are lots of tasty treats to buy too.

The only thing good about this experience was getting in from the cold.Service was horrible and what you pay for fudge its not worth it at all.The guy working this past Saturday didnt seem to want to be there and didnt even say thank you when we left. After us thanking him for his service.I hope the proprietor reads these reads these reviews and takes action. Customer service is very important. Without us you go out of business.

The place is pretty nice.... the workers are very nice and have no problems with giving you samples. Theyre also really knowledgeable about each item. Personally some of fudge items are SUPER sweet (personal opinion) but the ice crram is great!!! Also... one of the few places you can find superman ice cream.In addition, this is a African American Family Owned Business and I love that.

I was here before and loved the hot chocolate. I just returned and was very disappointed with the cup of Luke warm milk they called hot chocolate and are charging almost 8 dollars for a medium. Not very pleased
