Super sweet and kind staff, he recommended a certain latte for me to try after mentioning Im not a sugar girl but enjoy something different than just a coffee with milk and he served up something super delicious. Great place after my bike ride to city across from the Logan Eagle Abd Boulevard and enjoy the day.

The staff here really know about coffee. If you have any questions they will happily answer. The interior is beautiful with unique LED signs “pheel good”. We grabbed a espresso and pour over. The espresso shot was pulled perfectly which led to a nice bright and fruity sip. The pour over was also delicious not too watery but you can taste nice fruity and floral notes.

Initially came across Passion House coffee at my local coffee shop (Brew Brew), only to find out their retail shop was right down the street! Great little spot off the square, with friendly baristas. My jam right now is the cappuccino (with a donut)—their milk is excellent and they dont scald it like a lot of places seem to do these days! Cheers. ☕

This is a must-see coffee shop! I enjoy going to this shop because it has a relaxing atmosphere. It was really quiet and not too crowded. The coffee they drank was delicious and not too hot. They were as tasty as the cookies they had. The barista was very pleasant and courteous. They had a good internet connection as well.

This place is amazing. My girlfriend and I were looking for a cool spot to get some homework done and we were pleasantly surprised when we came across to this coffee shop. The building was clean and well-kept and had beautiful artwork displayed inside and out. Highly recommended!

Im reviewing on their opening day! Very cool! I really like this place for vibe. The decor is chic and cool. It does prevent any opportunity for productivity that the tables, while cute, are so very small though. There werent a lot of accessible outlets either, so maybe dont come here to work. The music is that funky talking heads type of vibe. Staff is pretty chill, very Logan feeling. In fact its across the street from the Logan stop. They serve pastries from Fat Rice, which are interesting, but i wasnt a big fan. In addition to the inability to get any work done, the other bad thing about this place is that its stupidly expensive. Streeterville prices are just stupid, even in Streeterville, but more so in Logan. Be forewarned its $4.5 for a small cup of coffee with refills or $3 for just a small cup of coffee. Even Starbucks gives a full 16oz with free refills for less than $3. The coffee is better than Starbucks for sure, but its just not that much better. Otherwise a cool new place.

For a couple of nights, weve been searching for dessert spots. We came across this coffee shop after getting ice cream for two days in a row. They have massive, diet-friendly servings to choose from, including apple pies, oatmeal, cream sandwich cookies, cupcakes, and biscottis. Their service was terrific! My coffee hadnt been hot enough for me, and it was steamed up by the barista. At the top of my list is this spot.

Passion House is a little out of the way for me but my friend, Karl, plays house music there on Saturday mornings (what a great kick off to the day) so off I went. At Karls recommendation, I tried the weird-sounding sweet potato latte. Because it looked good, I had some sort of matcha mini loaf (kind of like coffee cake with matcha flavored crumbles). Both choices were big wins in my book. The latte had a toasted marshmallow garnish, a shortbread bite, and....cayenne pepper (maybe?) sprinkled on top. So good! Who knew??

Hip down to earth coffee shop. It is run by a local who also has his own coffee company in the city. Great coffee with bakery items from Fat Rice. I enjoyed the atmosphere and the baristas and owner are friendly. Table space is limited and most of the tables are tiny so you may find it difficult to work on a laptop especially if you come with a friend.

Super cute and modern coffee shop with good coffee. I just got a black drip coffee and it was really good. I got a 8oz drip for around $3. They had a cream and sugar station with regular half and half but also an oat milk option for no extra charge. The atmosphere was really clean, cozy, and artistic vibe. Even the to go coffee cups had an artistic design on them. You can also purchase their own blend of coffee at their shop. It was quiet enough to do some work but also a good space to meet up with friends. Staff was super friendly as well!

This is a great coffee shop. It is exactly what you would want if you are into fresh roasted coffee and a trendy atmosphere. There isnt much seating inside so it seems like it could get crowded but it wasnt when we were there on a weekday morning. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable about the different coffees they provide. Prices are typical ($3-$6) for mixed drinks and ~$2 for black coffee. The place is clean and has restrooms. Parking is only available on the street as are all the places in Logan. We got a bag of coffee which has been excellent and the cold brew we had was delicious; very little bitterness/harshness with sweet notes without any additives.

As a non-coffee-drinker, I stumbled into this coffee shop for a cup of tea and was delighted to find that they not only serve high-quality, loose-leaf Spirit teas but also pay proper attention to brewing. Second I dig the decor, clean and modern.Staff is very friendly and they get your goods out quick. The espresso is smooth and tasty, with fun flavors to test out. Been coming here for like 2 years. Last week I had an experience that prompted an honest review. The punk-chick serving me in the morning was blasting music, clearly in a bad mood, didnt speak to me once, no morning greeting, no thank you, in fact, when I didnt realize where the card insert for credit was, she snickered at me. In hindsight, I was blown away, I work in high volume retail, and I would never serve anyone like that. Please re-invest in new personnel. I used to give this place so much positive word of mouth, wont happen again.

Really, really good coffee, interesting & inventive drinks. Take home coffee beans available. Helpful servers. A dj was playing music that, while fun, wasnt obtrusive. 1 thing: we sat in the back (only seats open) and it was so cold. It kind of contributed to our drinks getting colder. Im sure its not an issue in the summer, as it had been a very cold winter. Ill def be back!

Years ago, Passionhouse used to be a cafe you could walk in and do your work in, or at least sit down and enjoy a conversation. Today you can do neither. It has become a walk-in fridge with an unsolicited DJ blasting music in your face. It might sound like hyperbole, but it really isnt. The music is always loud, with two speakers pointing to all parts of the coffee house, lest you think you could get softer music by just moving.Folks Ive been to a lot of coffee houses in Chicago. NONE of them blast music like Passion House does. You know what Passion House *could* stand to do though? Turn the thermostat up. Right now, inside, its in the mid 50 F range, while outside is in the low 30s. I mean come on. Mid 50s? For an establishment that charges $20+ for a bag of coffee beans that fail to reach the consistency that other independent coffee roasters achieve, turning up the heat to something remotely bearable shouldnt be an issue.Oh, should we even get into the fruit flies inside the pastry display? This has been happening since the summer. Doesnt that violate some sort of health or restaurant/cafe code?Maintaining a coffee shop is a lot of hard work. I appreciate that. But you dont need a restauranteur prodigy to understand what human comfort is.

Passion House has great coffee. The atmosphere is chill. But its very expensive. The espresso drinks, although tasty, are small and leave you wanting another. After paying $3.50 for one it gets expensive. The small to go cups need proper sipping lids.. not plastic sauce bowl lids.

Visited for the very first time on Friday evening 6pm, the two girls working at the store had no customer service skills.Store closes at 7pm but they kept pushing my friends and I to order quickly, though we did not take more than 5 minutes to decide as a group. All three lattes were average taste wise, drink wasn’t warm enough and the girls reminded us that they close at 7pm and gave us our drink in to go cups. It basically felt like they were both waiting to lock the place and head out and we were the three people who stopped that from happening. Also the table space we occupied as a group was dirty with crumbs from cookie or some eatable. The least they could do before closing the place is clean it up.Overall disappointing experience, people walk into coffee shops like yours to support local businesses, and not walk in to a Starbucks where your drink is exactly served the way you requested. No matter how cliched or mechanicalI guess end of the day one can at least rely on getting beverages with consistent taste from chains.
