Nice cafe with great coffee options! Great scones and pastries! Would love to see more food options if at all possible! But great place and nice location!

I love coming here and reconnecting to my Austrian roots. Even though today I had a chocolate croissant and a chai tea latte, hehe. They opened a location right by me! But they dont have the full menu just their delicious pastries and drinks. If you want their lunch and dinner menu you need to go to their location on Southport.

Its in the neighborhood, the coffee is much better than Starbucks’ burnt drinks. If I had to give an honest opinion. The pastries are very fresh, & there is always someone friendly there.

This place is really nice! I had the chocolate croissant and a chai. Both were great! Ill definitely stop by again.

The food and the pastries are good, and the baristas are super nice. I really like the outdoor seating area, but the inside is so bland and unwelcoming. I would never want to sit inside there, only outside. Hopefully they’ll be adding some more decor inside to make feel more welcoming, but right now it’s not. But I would still recommend this place based on the quality of the food and the outdoor seating.

Had higher hopes for Julius Meinl, the coffee was okay. I asked if they had cold brew, barista said yes, pretty sure it was just iced coffee. The pastries also were just decent. The inside was socially distanced well but left something to be desired. I will likely go again some time for a second chance but wasnt a huge fan.

Great place to work and listen to the cool stylings of Steely Dan. Further, the coffee and coconut macarons are spectacular.

By far the best coffee in the area. Friendly staff!

The place is in a cool little side location with a cool looking little store front that reads, COFFEE, In red lettering, and is very appealing to the eyes once found. Customer service was meh and the coffee wasn’t anything special. I would have liked to have had my coffee in a real cup but instead was served in paper, but I didn’t specify it nor did they ask if I was take out or eating in. Apple cinnamon pastry was pretty good too but I think Ritual or Coffee Joint are way better places to drink coffee.

Excellent little cafe with amazing pastries and good coffee. The Esfahari cake was outstanding! Nice European feel.

Tiny front to the European bakery for their whole operation. The pastries are fantastic, baked fresh a few feet away. Great coffee and espresso. Kind of a hidden gem frequented mostly by the local businesses. Its actually a fun little spot, very clean, cozy and comfortable.

I used to come here during my lunch break for their turkey and avocado sandwich. Its a great place to grab coffee, lunch or a pastry in North Center.The service is great and the food is always fresh. Highly recommended!

This review is only about the coffee. The pastries looked divine, and I will update this once I have the opportunity to try them.I had a latte, my boyfriend had a cappuccino. The service was quick and very nice, but the coffee was bland. My latte was just milk. The cappuccino was all foam. Ive had coffees from hospital vending machines that were better. For the price, I expected more. Its sad that a chain with a Viennese flair would miss the mark on coffee (at least at this location).

Great pastries and chai

Nice little coffee shop in the Ravenswood area. The service is pretty good Im not sure about all there different coffee products, but its very convenient being so close to work. Their breakfast sandwiches in the morning are very good I like the ham and swiss.

I love this place but lately it’s closed when I come here even though the hours and website state it should be open. All 3 times myself and other patrons walking up are disappointed that it’s closed.

OMG, I had one of their donuts filled with cream, I devoured it. You have to get there early to get one of these heavenly treats. Lovely friendly staff. I was also surprised at how good the coffee was. I love this place.

4 stars because its a meinl, with upscale pastries and good coffee. Otherwise 3 stars because its way small and not conducive to staying for very long

Love Julius Meinl, but not this location. This location has very limited seating and is more of a ‘to-go’ only vs. dine in.

They serve good coffee thats a little pricey. Its a coffee bar, crowded, uncomfortable, and not very much fun. The Julius Meinl on Montrose and Lincoln was a great Viennese coffee house but closed unexpectedly. This location pales by comparison.

Great coffee, cozy, quiet, yummy sandwiches and of course, pastries. Be aware its much smaller than the other location.

Jason and the crew are great. Coffee is delicious. Pastries are to die for. Highly recommend this location.

Not the full restaurant like the other locations. Just coffee and some simple pastries.

Delicious pastries and friendly staff, but this is more of a grab-and-go place. Not much comfortable seating to remain working here for extended periods.
