I was also given great information on how to keep my phone and battery lasting longer along with answers to all of my questions. Absolutely loved their service. I had doubts to take my iPhone to a store other than Apple to fix my iPhone. But this store absolutely changed me. Got an appointment in next half hour, fixed it in 20 min and walked out with a phone that looked like new fixing solid vertical light on my iPhone screen. Better price than Apple store also. Honestly, Best Experience! Everyone was so nice and accommodating to my situation. In a weird way, I felt at home. They fixed my phone in barely an hour and a half and made sure I was okay the entire time. I also love the little jokes and chalk messages they have around the shop.I will definitely be back

I walked in at 4:58 pm (two minutes before they close on Saturday’s I found out) and they were still so friendly and helpful in helping me get my iPhone screen replaced. They did a fantastic job and it was half the price it would cost at the Apple Store with phone insurance. 10/10 recommend.

I took my iPad to Apple to see why my screen had hairline streaks, they told me it was an internal squeeze. Even though there was no visible damage and Id only had it a little over a year and used it a few times... Since they only stand behind their own products for 1 yr and applecare is a rip off (IMO because even still you get a refurbished product after youve paid enough to buy a brand new product), their only advice was to buy a new iPad with a $100 rebate for my old iPad. I googled and found Jet City Device Repair, sent an email asking about price and if it could be fixed. They replied right away, I took my iPad in, they fixed it and my iPad is back to brand new. I highly recommend Jet City for all tech repairs.

Noel communicated clearly and honestly. He could have finished my device repair same day, but the replacement part was not performing highly. The lens on my iPhone’s Camera was broken. I brought it in for repair and within 30 minutes it was fixed and ready to go. The service was affordable and I loved the conscience of them not having to special order the part. Would 100% return.

I took my iPhone in for them to repair my cracked screen. My phone was working fine, even with the cracked screen. Once it was repaired, my phone has been shutting down sporadically and freezes at weird moments. The tech was extremely nice and helpful but I will have to either get it repaired or have to get another phone.

Noel and the team at JCDR were consultative, polite, and prompt. The device was repaired to new. I was impressed with the craftsmanship and overall value. Lastly, they also sold me a case and screen protector; something I had planned to buy elsewhere, saving me time. Solid experience.

I accidentally dropped my phone and the screen struggled a little before going completely dead. JCD Repairs was the 1st place I found and called. They were responsive and very easy to communicate with, scheduled me in within the hour I called and gave me detailed directions to get to the store knowing that I didnt have access to the navigation app (even tho the store turned out to be super easy to locate). When I got to the store, the staff were clear and thorough about what to expect of the repair and the work was completed within 30 min after the hand-off.I didnt really have a chance to compare price points cuz they were the only shop I called, but Im very happy with the service I received.

I had a broken iPhone X screen that needed to be fixed. I asked for a quote around 2:30 and got a quick response within 15 min. They offered me a 2 hour time slot to bring in my phone (4-6). Took them about 20 min for what would usually take others 40 plus minutes. They are supper nice TJ is the one who fixed my phone. Also they have a cool vibe in the store. I would 100% recommend using them. Great serves for a good rate. Can not be beat!

I stopped in at Jet City, I was visiting for a conference from Iowa and my screen on my laptop was so dirty I could hardly see it, I went to Target to see if they had screen clean, they didnt so I found this place and on a whim I went in. They dropped what they were doing to help me, told me that maybe they wouldnt be able to get it totally clean, but its better then I do at home. Asked how much told me no cost, being a small business owner that wasnt going to fly with me, so I gave them a 10 and thanked them again. 10/10 this place is great!

I had just gotten into town and I needed my phone fixed quickly. Not only did I get that here but the quality and customer service were just as great! There was no hassle— they told me exactly what was wrong with my phone and what it would cost to repair. The repair took 30 minutes which is not too bad of a wait when the quality of the repair is excellent.

After breaking my iPhone screen on a Sunday, I did a Yelp search and found Jet City Device Repair. It was easy to book an appointment online for Monday and they were able to take me ahead of my appointment time. As others have written its a fun space, and staff were great at checking and confirming the issue and discussing options (my screen had broken near the speaker and camera, so they also checked to make sure nothing was malfunctioning there). They were professional and friendly and I had my fully repaired phone back in about 40 minutes. I also picked up a glass screen protector which they helped me install. It was a quick and efficient experience and if I ever have to get something fixed on my iPhone again, Im definitely going to go back. TJ also followed up the next day to make sure there were no issues. Great experience!

I had the absolute best experience at Jet City Device Repair!!! I would 1000% recommend going to Jet City Device Repair over any Apple store for help with ANY Apple device PERIOD!!! I recently had issues with my iPhoneX screen so I originally took it into Apple to get it fixed. I was told by one Apple employee that my phone would be a minimum $300 fix if I wanted to keep my same phone. After I agreed and they took my phone to fix the screen, I go pick it up to find out they found slight water damage (on a water resistant phone) and will not work on the device. It will now be $550 to replace the phone and toss my old phone which I need because I wasn’t able to backup my phone. So I called Jet City immediately after and he explained what he thought was wrong with my phone and reassured me he would be able to fix it. I was able to make an appointment for the next day no problem. When I arrived I was met with amazing service and I handed over my phone. Almost immediately they were able to figure out the issue and figure out it was simply a part of the display was connected!! He plugged it back in and it was good as new!!! They added a little extra adhesive to make sure it wouldn’t happens again and I had my phone again like nothing ever happened. Seriously best experience I’ve ever had dealing with any issues I’ve ever had with an iPhone, and I’ve had an iPhone since a 3GS. This place was so great and I will definitely be going back hands down!

Busted power button in my iPhone. Apple said can’t fix but we’ll sell you a new phone. Another fixit place said they couldn’t help. Within an hour Jet City had it fixed. A fraction of the cost of replacing the phone. I rarely take the time to write reviews but these guys deserve it. Repair rather than replace and use them!

3rd time coming in for repairs. Every time, service has been great and very efficient. ONLY suggestion is I wished there was an easy way to change the appointment time online after the initial appointment is set. That’s mainly coming from my inability to call or email as I was interested in an earlier appointment.

The rate was what I expected it to be (and was on the website) but the customer service was beyond exceptional. My screen was fixed in the time that they had stated and they called right when it was complete. I had some cracks in the back of my phone as well which they then ordered the part for me and fixed free of charge a week later.All in all I would highly recommend Jet City Device Repair to anyone who is in need of that type of service.

In just 8 hours, JCD replaced the battery on the iPad Apple suggested I throw out and did some other tune-ups at no extra charge. The next day, the store followed up to see that I was satisfied. I was, and then some.

Super close to work, making the appointment was easy online, they responded to confirm very quickly and got the job done in the time they allotted for. The phone seems to look and function as it did before. Time will tell but I also felt the pricing was extremely reasonable. I would definitely recommend them.

My phone is as good as new and was fixed in just over an hour. Pursley and their coworker were friendly and professional, which I was truly not expecting given the nature of what they constantly deal with, and the JCD storefront is conveniently located, welcoming, and fun (you’ll see, I promise). I only hope I’m not back anytime soon because it probably means I’ve been irresponsible, but in the meantime, I will be taking on a new side gig as an unpaid marketer for JCD to anyone who has damaged their phone.

JCD was super efficient and communicable. I was worried my phone was beyond repair, and they assured me that they’d do their best but wouldn’t charge me if it was unfixable.They were able to fix my broken screen and save me from buying a whole new iPhone.

JCD was $100+ less than an iphone screen replacement that the other store I was considering, so thats what got me in the door. But these people were fast, clean, and friendly. I was in and out in 15 minutes and have had no issues with my phone since!

Everything about this place rocks! Started with filling out an online service request form, then got a phone call the next day to set up the appointment. They were able to get me in the very next day. Dropped off my phone to get the audio jack replaced and picked it up an hour later. E-Z! I called a few other places but nobody would give me a lifetime warranty except JetCity. They even cleaned out my charging port for free. Super friendly staff.

I have taken a month to write a review for jet city. I thought the price was fine, but I am still having lots of issues with my Iphone 6 that I had repaired by them. They also send you MULTIPLE messages right after the repair for you to review them, so I am skeptical how many of the 5 star reviews are legitimate, its a horribly pushy business practice.Originally it was a screen repair and battery. After a month the battery is just as bad as it used to be. It wont hold a charge for an entire day. I have not updated software for over two years so its not that, I dont use incorrect chargers, etc. The new screen I had stopped working after about a week, which they replaced for the cost of parts. But now the touch part of the screen goes in and out and the glass is clearly more thin than the original. You can see distortions when you hit near the bottom of the screen. I was hoping to get a repair on my phone rather than buying a new overpriced one. But unfortunately it seems I am being forced to buy a new phone before I want to. I am really disappointed, and rather irritated with how things ended up. I was probably better off buying a new phone than trying to get my 6 to limp on another year. I cannot recommend this business.

I had an iPhone 7 that had a cracked screen and the pressure sensitivity was all off. I went to this shop and they fixed it no problem in about 30 minutes. Very good customer and professional service, shop has a really nice vibe to it, and the overall process was very smooth and low stress. I even received a follow up text from the business asking if everything was working fine with my phone. Although the price is a bit more than other shops in Chicago, the peace of mind knowing that you wont get scammed is definitely worth the extra 20 or 30$ more that it may cost to get it repaired here than the other cheap repair shops in Chicago. Overall would highly recommend.
