My fiancée has been really frustrated with this place. They don’t accommodate their brides and they are causing her a lot of distress just a couple of weeks prior to the wedding. We live in FL and she been flying back and forth for her fittings and they have no empathy to work with her around her schedule. Definitely this place won’t be recommended by us to anyone.

Thank you to Ultimate Bride for making my wedding dreams come true! Everyone was so nice and knowledgeable and made this a stress free experience. My stylist made me feel so comfortable and was so knowledgeable about the dresses and designers. There were so many beautiful gowns to choose from, but I ultimately found “the one” and became an ULTIMATE BRIDE!! The alterations team was great and made me feel at my absolute best on my special day! Thank you again to everyone at Ultimate Bride and I will forever recommended this phenomenal salon!

Their selection was really small, but great experience! The stylist I had wasn’t pushy whatsoever and was really helpful in giving me more info because this was my very first appt. Their prices were all $3k and up.

Lori was my consultant for my dress. She was so honest and complimentary. She definitely relaxed me during my appointment, it can be stressful. During covid they were so accommodating. Im from Michigan so I had to plan out when I could drive 4 hours there for alterations. Carmen is the best! All staff there are so nice and the owner is too. Please check it out!

I got the dress of my dreams! The staff made me feel very special. Carmella picked out the absolutely perfect dress for me--it wasnt by the designer I initially *thought* I wanted, but she read me like a book and came up with something better. The incredibly gorgeous dresses here are extremely high-end and get pretty pricey, but the staff will bend over backwards to make you feel beautiful and give you any discount they possibly can. If you are in the market for a couture wedding gown, this is certainly the place to go.

Loved my experience here. The customer service is impeccable. The gowns are luxurious and the salon is beautiful. From the beginning it was seamless and easy to decide on the gown I love! The alterations team was amazing and my gown fit beautifully for my special day! Thank you Ultimate Bride for the ultimate experience that every bride deserves!

I loved my consultant that I worked with during my appointment. The list of designers they have is extensive and impressive. The only down side is the sizes that they carry in store. Im a street size 6 and a lot of the dresses I wanted to try on were so small. Some wouldnt even fit on my body, let alone, have an idea how it would look on my body correctly on my wedding day. If they had a bigger range of sizes, they would have 5 stars!

DO NOT RECOMMEND! Not friendly at all nor helpful. The woman that was supposed to be helping me seemed very uninterested as if she felt like I was not supposed to be there. I didn’t have a budget but just went on the lower side because I did not want to spend a lot if it was not needed. As soon as I told her a price point she wrote me off and just gave me a few dresses she quickly found in the back. She didn’t talk to me in the dressing room or help me put anything on. It was a terrible experience for both me and my guest and really dampened a time that is supposed to be very joyous. If you are looking to have a good experience and work with someone that will help you find your dream dress do not go here.

After a few less than stellar appointments in St. Louis, I was feeling rather defeated in my search for the dress. My mom actually suggested we go to Chicago as they were likely to have a larger selection of dresses.We walked into the salon and immediately felt more comfortable and confident than anywhere we had been. Carmella greeted us so warmly and immediately knew what I was looking for. The first dress I tried on was the one, I honestly could hardly believe it. Its perfect and everything I was looking for.My mom and I are so appreciative of Carmellas genuine care and attention to detail at my appointment. Her love for what she does really shines through and I couldnt have imagined a better this is the dress moment. My mom and I will remember it forever.It should be noted that the majority of the dresses at UB are coming from the top wedding dress designers in the world, and prices are reflective as such. If you have a flexible budget and want an amazing designer dress, Ultimate Bride is your destination. Ask for Carmella!

Amazing experience! They offered me shoes, robe, and actually brought all the dresses to me so I didn’t have to look for them myself. They have beautiful designers and only fantastic gowns. I was so excited to get this experience!

I had the best experience from the moment I walked into Ultimate Bride. This is the best bridal store in Chicago. I brought my sister, mom and sister-in-law. We tried on several gowns but the girl helping us found the gown I wanted on the first try. I did try several others but went back ti the first gown she brought out and it was the winner. I had my aha moment. Thank you to the team of Ultimate Bride for a special moment.

Lori was amazing! I fell in love with every style she brought out for me. I was told that my dream dress would be impossible to find and that I should basically settle for something else from other boutiques. When I got to the ultimate bride I was pampered. Every staff member made an effort to make me feel beautiful! And it worked! Lori was truly made for this job! Emily also helped make my day completely unforgettable! I will never forget this experience and how they made me feel and I absolutely recommend this shop with these two ladies by your side!I found my dream dress and then some!!! I cant wait for my big day!

Carmella is an amazing consultant and I highly recommend her and Ultimate Bride. She helped me find the perfect dress on my first visit to the salon. After trying about 7 dresses on, she asked what I was liking and what I was missing, and within the next two dresses she exactly pinpointed what I was seeking. She was respectful of my timing and process throughout and maintained a helpful amount of periodic contact, always balancing making sure I was aware of a sale or key opportunities to see new veils/accessories and never pushing me to make a purchase or rush on a decision. Theresa did my alterations and was also really lovely, a careful listener who paid attention to my preferences and concerns and with an exceptional eye and great skill. My only less-than-five-star experiences were two visits when I knew in advance that Carmella wouldnt be present to help me--some of her colleagues are less professional and kept me waiting long periods of time because they were more preoccupied with their own clients or other work--but overall I would (and do) refer anyone seeking a wedding dress to at least look at Ultimate Bride--and try to schedule your appointment with Carmella!

Ill preface this review by saying that shopping for a gown is so hard. Every dress is stunning, there are so many options, and so much of the experience boils down to how well you click with a consultant. Unfortunately, for the amount of money, emotional stress, and time brides spend on this experience, this place really misses the mark. I looked at 4-5 shops, this was by far the worst.An appointment at a nearby bridal shop was cancelled on a Saturday at 10am. I was spending the day at shops in the Gold Coast, so I called Ultimate and asked if it was possible to set up a last minute appointment. The gentleman I spoke to over the phone was very pleasant, and said there was a one hour slot available, and I would be with Nancy. When we arrived, it was busy as expected. There were brides spilling into the little waiting area in gowns. We were told that because it was Saturday, it was much busier than usual and told we would need to wait for 5 minutes for Nancy. I even thanked the receptionist and asked if it would be better to reschedule, he said no. Great!We were left waiting for 30 minutes. I stood up to look at a few gowns, and someone whipped by me to say that most of the dresses are in the back... basically, dont waste my time...thats helpful! Now, I realize that Saturdays are very busy for bridal shops, especially high volume shops like Ultimate, but if you truly cannot accommodate a full hour appointment, just tell me... why waste time and risk poor reviews...When I met Nancy, she quickly brought me to the fitting room, and asked me what I wanted. At first I thought it was about efficiency... nope. She didnt listen to a word I said. Didnt bother bringing any of the designers I wanted to try, none of the styles I requested. I know my body, I know what I like- nothing was right for my build. The four options I tried were a total bust. I asked to try a few more specific dresses, designers. Nancy went to look for the designs, and came back with a few more options that were not what I asked for.By this point we were 30 min into the experience, and I was told to make a follow-up appointment. I had to leave so that the dress factory could accommodate another bride. I scheduled another appointment with Ultimate as I was basically shooed out the door, but cancelled the following Monday. I spent my money elsewhere .

Yikes, definitely wouldnt recommend this be a stop for your wedding gown. I came here about a month ago with a certain designer in mind, but also was open to trying things in a very specific style. I did have a budget, but mentioned if I absolutely loved something, I would spend more. I worked with Amanda. Its interesting how little of a selection the store has? I wanted form fitted and a good amount of beading. I told her I really liked crepe, but wasnt limiting my choices to only that material. Not one of the dresses brought for me to try on had close to a generous amount of beading on them. Im not totally sure Amanda really understood what I was looking for, because she kept bringing me a few dresses at a time that were not anything close to what I had asked for.No one in the store was overly friendly and the whole appointment was kind of awkward. I liked Berta and was interested in a gown they were expected to get in their Spring 18 line. Amanda said she would get back to me asap about pricing and information on that gown since I didnt really find anything I loved at the store. Its been over 1 month and no email, no call. I dont think the associates care or are even remotely interested in any of the brides that walk in. They dont listen to them, they dont give input on what might look best. They just make the whole experience super awkward as if they dont really want you trying on the gowns unless you know you are going to purchase it. It was all kind of a big joke. If you want a real salon with amazing designers, amazing associates.. go to Mira Couture down the street! I found both of my gowns there!

I cannot say enough good things about my experience at Ultimate Bride, especially working with Carmella! I went to quite a few other bridal salons around Chicago and there was no comparison to the service I received from her. She was patient, she understood my goals, and she helped me find my dream dress! Ultimate Bride has an amazing selection of dresses and I would highly recommend visiting UB and working with Carmella!

I thought that Ultimate Bride was overall a good experience. Yes, the dresses are in my opinion overpriced but I did purchase mine from there and I loved it. Maria did a phenomenal job with the alterations. Saturday mornings are the busiest and its very cramped. I would avoid going on a Saturday.

I came here a few weeks ago for a Berta trunk show and had a great experience with Amanda. Upon my arrival, I was a little irked as they could not find my appointment despite my email and phone confirmations. They turned the situation around by graciously accommodating me and then placed me with Amanda who was the sweetest person ever. This was my first time trying on wedding dresses and throughout the appointment she was so patient. She even stayed with me about a half hour longer! I did not find the dress of my dreams that day, but Amanda helped narrow down my search in terms of style. Thank you, Amanda!!!!!

They brought out only dresses that didn’t zip. I felt like they didn’t listen to me and were trying to upsell me. You can’t view the dresses and the first woman I worked with seemed inexperienced.

Looking forward to my 3rd visit with my daughter today. Very professional. The attention to detail is very assuring for the MOB!

My mother bought her dress and my grandmothers dress 20 years ago she still talks about the excellent service their and next month we are coming there to buy three more dresses for their 20th year anniversary

The bridal attendant Nancy was very rude and nasty. It seemed as if she did not want to accomidate what we wanted with changes to the dress, which we had no problem paying for. The appointment was rushed and when we came back the next day to look at the dress again she continued with her attitude. She did not stop even after I told her I was not going to buy the dress there. I would rather spend more money at another establishment for the same dress and better customer service! I can only imagine what my alterations would have been like there if thats the way that they want to sell something to someone! The whole thing was embarrassing and it ruined one of the best experiences that a bride could have.
