We had 2 great experiences at Brideside Bridal. We worked with Claire (She is THE best!). I got to try on dozens of dresses, she also chose some options that she felt fit my vision, and I ended up picking one of her recommendations as my dress. We felt at home, never rushed - which I felt was my issue with experiences at previous bridal salons. The selection is great, the price points were reasonable, and the people are incredibly friendly and professional. HIGHLY recommend!

The BEST experience at Brideside with Claire! I went to 5 other bridal shops and boutiques, but this one made me feel like the attention was on me and they listened to me. All dresses are under $2500, and honestly, most of them are around $1200-1600 which was really helpful. Claire contacted me through email before the appointment to know what my style was and we had a game plan. You are also the only bride in there at that time, so all attention is on you. Trust me, let this be your first and only stop and Claire will find you the perfect dress.

BRIDESIDE HAS CLOSED ITS DOORS! You wont find anything on their website, social media handles etc. but they have. It seems like theyre trying to keep it a secret and maybe that is because I just found out from the designer that they never paid them for the dresses. They took over $2,000 and ran, they still took orders fully knowing they couldnt fulfill them. What an unethical move/company and another fun thing to deal with while planning a wedding in a pandemic!

Brideside was the first wedding dress store I visited, and I knew that anywhere else would have to work hard to compare. Luckily, I found my dress at Brideside, so I didn’t have to be disappointed anywhere else. The whole experience was lovely - my stylist Caila pulled tons of options for me with regards to my preferred styles and budget. She even pulled a few that I would have never considered myself, but ended up really liking many of. The space is yours for the length of your visit — no other brides and their entourages bustling around, no flying taffeta, no big SCENES while you’re trying to make a big decision of your own. I went to their original space in West Loop, a loft space. Plenty of room to move around and get a feel for the dresses, and they ask in advance what kind of music you’d like to listen to in order to set the mood. Everyone there was friendly and professional, I never felt judged or rushed at all. Caila also took photos of me in my dress and sent them to me so I could show folks what I picked before it arrived. Also a great surprise - they have a TON of great dresses in a normal budget ($3k and under). After hours and hours (probably years of my life) watching the various iterations of Say Yes to The Dress, I was expecting to leave empty-handed after finding out the price tags on some of the gowns, but the opposite happened! They have some designer goods as well as their own in-house line; there’s definitely something for everyone. We ordered my dress and it came a few months later, a bit ahead of schedule. They don’t do in-house alterations, but will offer suggestions of places they recommend and work with often. If you’re looking for an experience that is chill and reasonable but still feels special, Brideside should be on your list of shops to check out.

We are missing 5 bridesmaid dresses that were ordered, shipped and in stock at the Lincoln Park store and cannot get a hold of anyone to pick up the dresses. Has anyone been able to pick up paid for dresses?Really hope we can get these ASAP.

I had been to a bridal trunk show before going to Brideside. I loved the experience of having the whole studio room to myself, my sister and best friend. I was able to relax and really get to pick wedding dresses that caught my interest. I had Claire as my bridal stylist and she was so helpful! She knew exactly what I was thinking and the style I was looking for. I found my wedding dress at Brideside and I could not have found it without the help of Claire!

I cant believe a company would take all my money and then refuse to send my dress even though they had it in their shop. They lied and said we are packing it now and you will get a tracking number by tomorrow. Then they send a vague email with no way to contact them stating they closed permanently. They stole all of my wedding dress money and the dress and I find this out TWO MONTHS before I am supposed to walk down the aisle. It is now too late to order from anywhere else so I have no wedding dress. Way to steal someones joy in an already difficult time. How could anyone feel good doing this to someone? :(

I loved working with Brideside! They were extremely helpful during my search for the dress and have been really great with getting bridesmaid dresses too. Beautiful shop and great selection of dresses too!

Claire made wedding dress shopping a fantastic experience. She made it fun and let me choose the dresses that I liked and only made suggestions that had been well thought out and with my budget in mind. Highly recommend!

This place took all of our money and ran. They never paid the vendor for the dresses before they closed so we can’t receive the dresses from the vendor. We can’t dispute the charges because we paid for the dresses over 60-90 days ago.

I had an amazing time at Brideside and found the dress of my dreams! Margaret was beyond helpful and patient and I felt like she truly listened to what I wanted and picked the perfect dresses for me to try on. The store was beautiful and they made my whole group feel comfortable throughout the process!

Wow what an experience! As a curvy girl I was really anxious about dress shopping and dreaded the thought of it. From the moment I set my appointment until I left the store I felt so welcomed and valued. My stylist, Claire, was patient yet fun with me and my gal gang and has continued to be an amazing resource following my appointment.To top it all off you have the whole place to yourself AND they give you champagne!So thankful to have found Brideside!

Paid for a dress and chose to have it shipped, waited weeks for it to be delivered, then they went out of business... never received my dress and never got my money back.

I had the most fantastic experience shopping for my wedding dress at Brideside. Earlier in the day I had a horrendous experience at a different Chicago salon, which purported to carry size inclusive samples. I came into Brideside feeling a little apprehensive but that quickly went away once I saw all the different options they had for curvier brides (Im a size 12). My stylist Claire was incredibly sweet and knowledgeable and made me feel VERY comfortable. The only problem I had was trying to choose between so many great dresses :) I would highly recommend Brideside for any bride but especially for any plus size brides who are a little apprehensive about the shopping experience.

I found my perfect dress at Brideside Bride right before the holidays. Claire, my stylist, was not only nice, professional, and super helpful, but she also made the experience so enjoyable. From facetiming with my mom and sister and walking through everything in detail with them since they couldnt be there, to helping me find a dress in my price range that made me feel beautiful, she was a true champ. Request her when you book your appointment.Not to mention that the salon is SO NICE and SO CLEAN AND IN THE PERFECT NEIGHBORHOOD. Shopping at Brideside Bridal was my favorite experience dress shopping. I was really struggling to make a decision on the style of dress to go with and Claire was so patient with me while going all over the place. I had found a dress that I loved but I had a hard time knowing that it was THE ONE. Claire encouraged me to sleep on the descision and after thinking about the dress and coming back to try it on again, I was in love and I knew it was the perfect dress. Claire made our experience at Brideside awesome - it was so nice to have the salon to yourself and to have an personalized one on one experience.

Such an amazing wedding gown shopping experience! I said yes to the dress last weekend and I couldnt be more thrilled with my Brideside experience and specifically my amazing stylist Claire. Planning my wedding was already a little extra stressful due to my fiancees deployment this year and then COVID-19 threw us for a loop, so I was anxious about store closures and not being able to have the bridal shop try-on experience with my friends and mom. Enter Bridesides at-home try on service, which was an absolutely seamless and enjoyable experience. You choose several gowns from a look book and then Brideside will deliver them to you to try on for 48 hours in the comfort of your own home. I was lucky enough to be staying with my family and modeled the dresses for my mom and grandma (we set up a little bridal showroom with champagne in the house :)) and my bridesmaids on Zoom. It ended up being such a special and emotional experience, I wouldnt have changed a thing! I tried on 8 gowns before saying yes to my dress! My dress ended up being a fraction of the cost (I only spent $1,400 and was planning to spend about $3,000 originally) and it is so well made I feel like I am wearing a $6,000 dress. I highly recommend the Madison James/Allure dresses, they are so well made and have built in long lines so you dont need to wear a bra or extra shape wear.But foremost, I honestly cannot sing Claires praises enough, she was FANTASTIC to work with, so patient and accommodating. I was initially anxious about sizing because I am normally a size 10 and in between sizes as I am working out/losing weight, and since bridal runs so small I was nervous I wouldnt be able to tell what gowns looked best. If this is something youre concerned about DO NOT BE. Claire was amazing in suggesting what sizes will give you the best idea and provides clips and a bungee closure so you can get the close fit youre looking for even if its not in your size. She also was fabulous in talking to me and my mom about what size would be best when I was actually placing the order for my gown. After my first batch of dresses, I was feeling uncertain with some of my selections and wanted additional options, Claire went out of her way to drive another set of gowns out to the suburbs for me the next day since I have been quarantined with my family. I felt like I had my own personal stylist, and so special throughout the whole process. Claire was very attentive and thoughtful, making me feel so comfortable the entire time.I am so impressed with Claire and Brideside that I am purchasing not only my wedding dress from them, but also am planning to shop for my accessories there as well as my bridesmaid dresses. Do not hesitate to buy your gown here! :)

I cannot say more positive things about brideside. I had shopped at another store prior and only went to brideside to say that I went to two places to look. I met with Emily and she was super sweet and genuinely cared about which dress I chose. She was incredibly fast at putting on each dress and taking it off, so I was able to try on 10+ dresses in my time there. I went back a week later after my initial appointment and Emily helped me decide and dress up the two dresses that I was between. She was not pushy whatsoever either, which was amazing. Brideside also has a ton of options of dresses to choose from, which was great! Highly recommend!

Brideside was an AWESOME place to go as a bride who was terrified about the whole experience - Margaret was AMAZING to work with, she listened to what I wanted, did not make me feel rushed, and it was clear she actually consulted my Pinterest boards, etc. - I ended up buying a dress elsewhere but only because I was surprised with an offer to pay well above what I had budgeted! Love Brideside!!!

Love Love Love Brideside! Cant recommend them enough. I got my wedding dress here and I am so in love with it. It is elegant and classy but also comfortable. Brideside had a great selection of dresses. I had had no problems making appointments. Claire helped me and she was amazing! She was super nice and had great suggestions. One thing to be aware of is that- at least Brideside Chicago does not do alterations. But Claire made sure I knew that before I purchased my dress. I also liked that I paid half up front and the other half when I picked up my dress which held both me and the store accountable.I picked up my dress during COVID-19 but Brideside was amazing! I was the only customer in the store, they had masks, gloves, and hand sanitizer. I felt very safe. They also went the extra mile and set up a video conference with my parents who are in CA and were unable to be in person. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

I found Brideside after using them as a bridesmaid in my best friends wedding. Caila, my stylist was great. She called me prior to my apt to get more details about what my wedding vision was and if there were any styles or dress details that I had loved so far. I sent her my pinterest board and between that and what I told her on the phone, she had dresses pulled and ready for me when I arrived. Caila was so friendly and I could really tell she cared about helping me find what I wanted. I did not feel rushed or pressured to purchase, which made the day so much fun and relaxing. I received a follow up email with pictures of me in the 2 dresses I narrowed in along with details about them both. Also, the space is beautiful, so that was a plus :) THANKS BRIDESIDE
