I gave it one star only to leave a review. Went to Sephora on 76th and Cicero (against my better judgement) to grab some Farsali. I was excited because it was the only store in driving distance that had this particular product. I get there and there’s 3 left on the shelf. I grabbed them all! When I get out-of-town on my my trip and open the boxes they were empty;-(One bottle was new the other two had been used. 1 half full and the other was empty. So cool, I get home and go back to return the merchandise. I can’t find the receipt, but no worries; I’ve got my CC and my email address.WHEN I GOT THERE AND ADRIENNE TOLD ME SHE WAS NOT TAKING BACK THE PRODUCT BECAUSE THE BOTTLE WAS EMPTY AND I HAD NO RECEIPT. I ALMOST DIED!!! It’s sad that a few bad apples can spoil the whole bunch and the world is as untrustworthy as it is...”but ADRIENNE you have an obligation to UPHOLD YOUR BRAND”! To make matters worse; you can’t imply that your customer is is trying to stiff you for a 25 dollar product. Your Customer Service is lackluster. I’ve made the appropriate phone calls and shame on you. You are a clear representation of the store.

I’ve been to this location numerous times at first the staff was helpful and products were always stocked. But as of recent the service is horrible and the product are rarely stocked to capacity. They never welcome customers or ask if you need help. You literally have to search for help and when you do they act as though you are the problem. The staff is always chatting among themselves and I have rarely seen them do “work”. I don’t think I will ever be back to this location, I would rather spend my money at Ulta!

The day of my my quinceanera my makeup artist canceled on me two hours before. I was having a complete breakdown and decided to go here to see if they could do anything for me. I walked in and they were SUPER nice and understanding. They were lifesavers and got me the makeup I needed. I give them 5 stars!

Yesterday we went to JCPenney to buy a few things and my little sister whos the teenager wanted to buy a new makeup foundation. We never buy Sephora or Ulta high-end foundation makeup because sometimes the prices are just too much. But recently my sister got straight As on her progress report and me and my mom told her she deserves it. So we going and my mom does feel a little self-conscious because her English is not that well even though she does speak it and my mom was telling my sister to tell the salesperson stuff and the salesperson apparently doesnt know Spanish. But it seem like she doesnt untillll...... the very end by the time my mom was paying thats when salesperson started speaking Spanish and smiling more. My mom was disappointed and upset. Experience could have been better and regardless how a person looks or language talk if you make the experience better they will actually probably buy more. Horrible now we know they need better attitudes regardless of language and make the experience more fun

It has happened to me where the items that Im interested in are not available a couple of times. However, the staff is always helpful and offers other locations where you can get the items or provides samples for alternatives that you can test and buy later if you do like them.

Worst customer service experience ever. I went there to get foundations samples and purchase a few products, but not once was I greeted or asked if I needed any assistance. I approached them to get a foundation sample, only to see one of the workers watching videos on her phone while at the register. Overall, I did not feel welcomed at this Sephora location thanks to the unprofessional staff. Do better!!

There needs to be more employees on the floor during the weekend. I went in to ask for a sample of a product. I asked this one lady and she said she would be right with me to help. She went to the register to help someone else. I waited 5 minutes until I got impatient. And the other two emplyees were too busy to ask instead. It left a bad taste in my mouth. Knowing you guys are the only Sephora in the southwest of Chicago and you only have 3 employees during a Saturday night? Unacceptable! At least add one or two more employees.

I never write reviews unless I feel like I got the worst customer service, which today was the day!! BUT I wasnt the only one who got treated like that. I got there around 11:50am (7-3-19)to be exact. Ive been to this location a thousand times before and the girl that was there this morning needs some costumer service classes or get fired! There was a lady infront of me asking for a product that would work best for her skin and was asking questions and the girl totally ignored her and if she would answer it would be in the rudest way! Even my 8yr old notice how rude she was, and thats sad!!! I felt bad for the lady BUT once it was my turn it was the same thing!!! Shes the rudest person Ive ever come across to. Im not here asking for her to pay for my things or asking for money. I hope that the manager looks into this or if shes the manager than corporate needs to, Because they are losing alot of customers due to this type of behavior. Her behavior is unacceptable. If she hates her job which is very possible because its way to early in the day to be this rude than she needs another job where she doesnt have to deal with customers.The other girls that work there are very helpful and friendly but this girl shouldnt represent Sephora. Lost a customer!!

Personally I dont understand what all the bad reviews about customer service are for I know that this is a new store for the mall so maybe they were just getting new staff kinks out First time I went I was helped right away and I felt the service there was amazing. I had come in with bad expectations and the staff showed me otherwise. They really pay attention to your needs and when theyre consulting with you they make you feel heard. Adriana was very friendly and you could tell she loves working there. I love that she takes the time to remember your name if you returnSecond time I came back was on a Thursday during peak hours so they were a little busy but more staff showed up. Came in for a mini makeover and I love about Sephoras brand is how you come in for a small thing and leave with a wealth of knowledge. Taraya only works Thursdays but you can tell she has passion for what she does. Ill definitely be returning hopefully after work on Thursdays .As someone who loves makeup, overall this store to me is a hidden gem in the area. Im glad it opened because it makes premium makeup products more accessible to me with great staff all around.

Service is horrible!!! Most employees act like they dont see you to avoid you asking for help. Or they will stay with that one customer for a long time to avoid helping others!!! Youre not greeted either. Please shop at other Sephora stores and avoid this one. Oh and i almost forgot they are always out of mostly everything !!!

If I could rate this 0 stars I would. The workers are LAZY. They just stand behind the register chatting and do not even greet customers. The last time I went it was completely empty. I was the only customer there and not one single person helped me. At check out, the lady was super rude and gave me attitude. I live 5 minutes away but go to the one at Orland Park now, rather drive further away than get horrible customer service!

Went to purchase a couple of bottles of mens fragrances and was completely ignored. I waited for 30 min while sampling and not one hello. When I finally asked for help I got the sorry Im on break line. After another 20 min I just left. Gave my business to Carsons.
