Very unhappy with customer service. Very rude and disrespectful service. I called multiple times wanted to exchange my unused carry cot in box for a different color. Someone supposed to be calling me back regarding that and I was just simply ignored after spending over $1000 at this store. It’s never been an issue at this country to return something but wait until you go to galt baby and talk with Mina (?). Raising a voice on customer I think it’s extremely unprofessional. Big watch before you go there and empty your wallet. Nobody informed us that this is a final sale. Even on my receipt there is no word about item being sold as a final sale. I wish I ordered my carry cot from different store then I wouldn’t have this issue a month before my due date. I will know better in the future I wish Mina knows better how to run business and how to treat her clients.

My son looked everywhere for a helicopter and no luck this place is a kids paradise,They carry a lot of strollers and awesome toys we love it.Check out the inner room they have awesome toys there too, it’s now located on the 6th floor instead of the old 5th floor location.

Wonderful toy store! Great variety and some unique items. Also has a large selection of strollers.

This place is great. They have a diverse selection or toys given how small a location they operate in. They have incredibly helpful staff who can talk you through all the city strollers pros and cons and will help you set it up and get to know it well. Downtown with a stroller is very different than the needs of a good stroller for the burbs, they have different pros and cons in each of them and the staff are well versed in explaining these to you. Highly recommend it for small to large gifts, too.

Buyers of the Galt Toy Baby are great. They carry educational, practical and fun stuff for baby and kids.If I bring my one year old to this store, He doesnt know how the time goes by...just enjoys all different kinds of displays and toys.They have awesome strollers and car seats. You can test them and their staff are pretty knowledgeable.If you are not sure what to buy or which brand to buy in any kinds of baby/kids related items, visit this store and explore. You will love it!Only thing is they rarely have sales items....so all the prices are standard retail price tag.

Im a regular at this store. The guys are great and their knowledge of baby gear is top notch. Im stroller obsessed and a CPST, so I come in to try things out often and when I need to purchase, I do so there. They have a good selection of high quality gear. I definitely trust their judgement and love that they offer cleaning/installation/assembly services.

This is the only toy shop in the 900 North Building. They have many items from baby stuff to teenagers. We have purchased strollers, puzzles, magic cards. The staff are helpful. My son also says they have Smurfs. have fun

Im a big fan of this place - youll find just about whatever youre looking for here, from miniature toys to board games and stuffed animals, practical jokes, wacky glasses, party favors, and little vehicles for toddlers. Lots of fabulous choices at great prices, and friendly knowledgeable staff.

One of my favorite toys stores in down town Chicago. Its very expensive and the selection isnt as good as it once was,but they have awesome selection of gund brands stuffies and decent book selection.Since FAO is no more this is 1 of basically 2 stores in downtown. Definitely worth checking out just prepare to drop some $$$

My husband and I were visiting from Orlando and noticed this beautiful store, which has all of the luxury baby items other stores dont carry available to test drive. The store is incredible, but the true treasure is the manager, MICHAEL. Let me tell you about Michael. Michael is the most knowledgeable person I have ever met on the topic of baby gear. He knows all of these brands, and their upsides and downsides inside out. He was very honest with us and did not upsell the more expensive brands, often opting to recommend products half the price because they would better suit our needs. We estimated Michael spent close to two hours with us.... were talking folding/unfolding strollers, lifting items to feel the weight, teaching us about European safety standards, pushing prams side by side testing agility! We were both pretty floored by his knowledge base. Even though we live far away and I was registered at BuyBuyBaby, and we cant take advantage of Galts offer to send out technicians to assemble/set up/ service, were still going to be ordering a few of our bigger ticket items from Galt, just because of Michael. My husband and I were in Chicago for our anniversary and did a lot of other very cool things visiting the city for the first time, but our experience with Michael was really one of our highlights. Thank you!!

This was the worst shopping experience in my life. They tried to swindle us. Michael who is the so called manager said that their store has sale for Bugaboo Bee3. $600 for Bugaboo, that was very good price.Me and my husband decided to buy it. I wanted them to assemble it in the store because I wanted to go home with stroller. They assembled it in the back room. When the assembled stroller came, we noticed that the canopy was exreamly dirty. They accepted that they used the display models canopy. We wanted yellow canopy and the only yellow one has been display models. They apologized and they said that they will send new boxed canopy to our house. Because we already aid it, we decided to wait for new canopy. Three days after we went again to get it. This time we realized that the seat also were used. We had difficult times to convince him that the seat also used. Whatever, At the end everything became apparent that the only new, unused part of the stroller that they tried to sell us was the frame. All the other parts; seat, seat-cover and canopy have belonged to display model. Never, never again will buy anything from these liar people!!!

I had to go in search of someone to answer my questions regarding a stroller. They werent very knowledgeable nor particularly helpful. They didnt have one that I was interested in available on the sales floor, however they did offer to assemble the one they had in stock only if I was going to purchase it. Im not spending $600 on an item I havent even seen and to suggest I do so is ridiculous.

The item we wanted was not available in the color, but otherwise, very positive experience and helpful staff, especailly the magician!

Disappointed. Wanted to buy a gift for a baby and left empty handed. We actually went to two Galt toys stores- Michigan ave and clybourn, what a waste of time, buying the gift on Amazon

Avoid registry. Wife and i bought three items on the third, none of which were in stock. We were assured wed receive them in the mail by the 15th ahead of our babyshower. Nothing! And come to find out, they never reconciled our purchase with the registry. We will be attending babyshower empty handed. Also, service throughout never did live up to pricepoint expectation- is this place managed?
