I made a 6pm appointment for an alignment and they called me shortly thereafter telling me they were closed at 6pm and could not get me an appointment for that day unless I came within 20 minutes. I specifically told them I would not do a drop off and am looking to be in and out within an hour. They said ok, no problem. I get to Firestone within 10 minutes and they tell me it would be 2 hours before they could align my car. Walked out and obviously never going to give them my money.
I cannot sing Aprils praises enough!! She is one hardworking employee. She, too, loves her job! April always treats me very professionally and always with a smile in her voice. However, I do feel sorry for her and all her colleagues. I really wish Firestone would either have a phone receptionist or even an area call center. It is ridiculous that the mechanics are expected to answer the phones while working. They might as well cut the grass, take out the trash, and clean the building. Firestone, please help your employees be more efficient by having someone else answer the blasted phones!!
Brian and April were fantastic. Professional and very friendly. They worked in balancing my 4 trailer tires on a very busy Saturday. They did exactly what they said they would be able to accomplish. The store was very clean and well organized. A touches experience and everyone had on masks which I appreciated. I would highly recommend this facility. A very pleasant experience.
This is an amazing Firestone.We found it while traveling from Florida with a ripped tire. They take all day just to put on two tires . They took the tires off the car and left my car sitting up in the airfor 2 hours and went two anotherVehicle started working on a different vehicle while my car in the air just sitting there for another 25 minutes with no front tires. You should mark your tires always because they never rotate them. I took my car there and they didnt rotate it, I told them and they said, Im sorry, were gonna do it but then I went to get my car and they didnt do it. I knew that because before I marked my tires.
Totally unpleasant, unprofessional, and truly uncomfortable experience.I arrived on time for a 6pm appointment and was told (by a man working at a lift that seemed to be in charge) that Firestone had been behind 1-2 hours behind ALL DAY due to ...two of workers didnt show because they were at traffic court.He was obviously annoyed that an appointment showed up and told me to reschedule or leave the car, but wouldnt initially say it would done that evening. I had fast leak and needed the car the next day. He stated 2 or 3 times that they closed (in an hour) at 7pm, although the web says Firestone closes at 8pm. I didnt point that out because he was already agitated.I did point out to him that Firestone could have called me earlier (knowing they were so far behind) so I could look at other options, and he said It is what it is. I dont know what your problem is. Were moving as fast we can.He then also commented sourly on the source of my tires, an online dealer (who delivered them to Firestone and scheduled the install), leaving me to wonder if they might be knock-offs, returns, or rejects (Michelin Crossclimates). I have contacted the dealer.On top of all else, he threw out my valve stem covers (that were obviously not the common black caps) and became agitated again when I asked about them, telling me they were thrown out and gone. The girl working there said I should have told him in advance to reuse them. - When, during the pleasant exchange at my appointment reception???If it were earlier in the day and had options, I would have found another installer with a better attitude towards the customer when dealing with internal issues. I am glad service was prepaid to spare further insult for having the hand money over for that type of service.It was obviously a bad day at Firestone in Chester and they were done with customer servive and wanted out there at 7pm.

I waited a week for them to give me an appointment and when I went they told me that I did not have an appointment and that they do not change the transmission oil when I made the appointment they told me the day the time and that the cost was $ 200 I will never visit again this establishment!

I needed a headlight fixed, and went in a few days ago. I had recently lost someone very close to me, so I was unable to stay inside to wait as I was pretty much inconsolable. These kind people refused to let me pay for the work they did, including replacing two other lights on my car. That was an act of kindness that I was not expecting and it was extremely kind.

This past weekend I was visiting some family for Easter and knew that my vehicle was going to be due for an oil change coming up. Seeing as I knew that I would not need my car for the day, I figured that I would drop it off for some service and to get a safety inspection before making the 3 hour hike home on Sunday night. Apparently I was not the only one that had this plan. When I arrived at this facility there was not a parking spot in sight. After making a few laps around the lot I finally saw one open up. As I was headed inside I was thinking to myself There is no way they are going to fit me in but I figured that it couldnt hurt to check.When I walked in the door I was promptly greeted by a April asking how she could help me. I explained to her what I was looking to have done and asked if there was any way she could fit me in. To my surprise and without missing a beat, she told me that it would not be a problem and started typing up my paperwork. Within a few hours I got a phone call with a couple minor recommendations that I was more than happy to approve. They had me done well before the end of the day and I could not be happier with the service that I received. Went for a state inspection, got an alignment and when I left I noticed the tire they aligned was low in air. Didnt go back inside because I spent 3 hours waiting. Stopped by Wawa to add air to my tire on the way home and everything seemed fine. This morning I came out to a completely flat tire. I called Firestone and explained my issue. They told me to just bring it in for them to look at. When I told them that I had to call a tow truck to take it anywhere they just said they were open all weekend. I went ahead and called to have my car towed, but instead I towed it to where I purchased my tires because I knew that whatever the cause was for the leak was done by Firestone. The other shop looked it over and found that the valve sensor had been damaged and that was what caused the leak. Thank you Firestone for adding another $150 in service fees for mishandling my vehicle.Update: The service technician put in his paperwork that he reviewed the leak with me and I denied repair. NOT A SINGLE PERSON in this building mentioned this to me! I was NOT asked if I would liked it fixed. I was NOT notified of the issue. I sat in their waiting area for over 3.5 hours and no one thought it was a good idea to let me know that they damaged my valve when performing their service. No one has contacted me. No one has attempted to reach out for their mistake. Ive tried calling and I get nothing but please bring it in so we can look at it. They refuse to acknowledge their mistake and own up to their mishandling.
I came here for an inspection and 4 new tires. The employee went over tires and prices with me, confirming what I had found online. No hidden charges when I paid. Drop off and pick up were simple. She went over extra options with me, but I felt no pressure to purchase. Simple and fast; I had a good experience.

I know others have had a bad experience here however, that wasn’t the case for me. Tim was amazing. I called to make an appointment he advised there was no appointments available for that day but to bring the car in and they will get me taken care of. I can not say enough about Tim and the staff here very professional. I thought I need my brakes done turns out they are fine. Instead of just putting new brakes on and taking my money Tim explained it could be an issue with the ABS system on the car. I even asked my about new struts on my car because another Firestone in a different state told me I needed new ones. Tim advised they had already been done. It’s nice to be treated as a customer and not a money pit. Thank you Tim and the rest of the Firestone staff. I will definitely be back.
I took my car there at 3:30pm on a Saturday afternoon asking if they could assess it for a sudden loud exhaust noise. Not only did they do a thorough bumper to bumper inspection of my car, but only charged me $9.99! The really shocking part is that they advised that the muffler work could be done less expensively elsewhere and suggested a couple of places. When my car was pulled around, I had an opportunity to speak to the mechanic, who told me the same thing. I would absolutely trust taking my car there in the future because theyve proven to me to be ethical, which is rare in the business. Most mechanics would have managed to find a laundry list of things that needed repaired on a 2001 car, belonging to a senior lady.
Joseph the Front desk guy was very rude and told me he couldn’t help me out. I told him to get the manager and the manager didn’t even get up to come see me. He just told Jospeh to tell me he can’t help me. I was a first time customer I’ll never be going to firestone again.

Weve been utilizing this location for all of our vehicles for the past 3 years and we have been very happy with the service that we have received. Edward and Tim are both very knowledgeable and fair. We used to go to Priority Toyota because of the Priorities for Life, but never again. Ill gladly pay for the excellent service that this Firestone location has always provided. Hands down the best place to take your vehicle in Chester. The employee are super polite and know what they are doing. I cant say enough about how great this place is.
I made an appointment a week ahead of time for a state inspection. I got there ten minutes before my appointment. There was no parking and I waited over an hour and a half for my car to just be pulled into the shop to inspect. The guy that checked me in was not friendly. No one apologized for anything or told me why I waited over an hour and a half when I had an appointment. Finally two hours after my original appointment time I was done. All I heard them telling people when they called was that they could drop their cars off and wait for them to get to them the next day, because they were too busy. Just a very overall bad experience. The only good thing was April that checked me out was very friendly. That is my only good part of the review. I will never go back.
Nice employees but they are just super extremely slow, I mean every single time I call to see whats the wait on a particular service and they say its a 3, 4, 5 hour plus wait, and thats just for a oil change, Jiffy Lube does it in 15 minutes why does it take yall 5 hours before u even pull my car in? You can call them for a different service when theyre just opening up for the day with no customer cars in the parking lot and they say drop it off, we might can get to you today. They are conveniently located to my home so I tend to roll the dice and call them first if I need service, but most of the time I end up going somewhere else unless i have absolutely nothing to do for that day. Other than that its a clean facility with respectful employees but Im judging them on their timely service not how clean the lobby is, and they are a bit pricey as well, they suggested I get new lug nuts on each tire to avoid them becoming stripped and then gave me a price of $400 bucks to do it, thats 20 bucks a lug nut. If youre super patient then I guess you wouldnt have a problem but if youre planning your day around them servicing your vehicle, I suggest you go elsewhere.

Price for changing tires and balance is good and fair. But the technicians take way to long to change 2 tires and balance them. My truck went in to the shop and stayed there for 2 hours. If you want to stay there and wait forever for services this the place to be to kill time. Seemed like the tire technicians just talk and goofed around to get some hours in. Only gave 2 stars because of the fair price.

Not a good experience for being the first time. I went twice to the place for the same problem, the first time they said it was fixed and the second time they found it wasnt. A second issue was they running a hard inquiry on my credit without warning me that can stay on my report up to 2 years.
Wasted a day. Just needed to know if a tire was able to be repaired or not. 4 1/2 hours later still had not even looked at it. Not even any explanation or a sorry about that. Will not do business with them nor recommend them to anyone.

I really hate to do this because this place was my go-to for anything related to my car. There has been a change to where they no longer accept any appointments for safety inspections. They said it is first come first served. So I asked if I could drop off my vehicle and he said it wouldnt be finished until Friday. So basically what you are saying is if I came in and waited for my vehicle to have a safety inspection and oil change I would be in the waiting room until friday???? So sad but I found Allen tire to take my future business to.
Dont waste your time bringing your car here for a state inspection... Ive tried over the past month and every time theyre telling me they need 3 days to do it because they only have one inspection tech. Theyre also very rude and lack customer service ability.

The service manager Craig J., my service advisor Ron Ron and my tech Quentin really took care of my vehicle this last go around. I really liked how they looked at the whole vehicle and brought to my attention something I didnt even know about under my hood. They didnt try to sell me their service or make me buy parts. I really feel like they genuinely cared d just wanted me to know. They are a phenomenal team.Marco saved me almost $500 going to him instead of R&R in Norfolk va. I love saving money! Thanks man

Brought my car in because my tire light was on. I live in a new neighborhood and have had to replace 2 tires in a year from sloppy construction crews. Luckily it was just low tire pressure all around. The staff was kind enough to put air in my tires at no charge.

I asked why I was told id be able to take it in and wait for it. She said you can wait, itll just be all day. Cool, thanks.She didnt apologize or seem to think there was anything wrong. If she said sorry for the misunderstanding, maybe they just thought you wanted to know if wed get it done today Id be annoyed but probably wouldnt be writing this review.Took it to NTB and they did it in 10 minutes for $25 less.

My brother took his car up here to have new tires put on it. He went there today to pick it up and noticed scratches all the way down the side of his car, from the hood all the way to the trunk.The manager informs him that the car was parked inside the shop and that there was no way they couldve done the damage. He went out to the car and tried to buff it out. Told my brother sometimes they take the cars on 288. Offered to pay for a new detail and all of his tires for free EVEN THOUGH THEY DIDNT CAUSE THE DAMAGE????DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR UP HERE. APPARENTLY THEY HIRE MORONS WHO CANNOT REVERSE A CAR INTO A SHOP WITHOUT SCRATCHING UP. LIARS AND A COCKY RUDE MANAGER.
Said they couldnt patch a tire......drove 4 miles to Chester tires and they patched it in 10 minutes. nail was in tread. not sidewall. easy fix for someone not looking to rip someone off.

I went to this store for a couple tires. They gave me a competitive price on the tires but they tried to tell me that another one of my tires was bald and needed replaced, yet I knew it did not. My wife took our van there for an oil change and they tried to sell her an alignment that it didnt need. They offered her a free rotation. I went there a few days later to get a tire put on and they also tried to sell me an alignment. We later discovered that my wifes vehicle shook in the front end when reaching speeds of 60 mph and it didnt shake in the back end before the rotation. I hate to accuse anyone of anything but it sure seemed like they tried to sell us additional tires and services that werent needed and now I have to pay someone to balance the front tires. I give them the benefit of the doubt and assume that a weight fell off while rotating tired but, if this is the case, I would expect them to replace the weight.
