Brought my Charger in the other week to get a new touch screen covered under my Mopar extended coverage and I got to say it was by far the best service experience Ive ever had at a dealer. I worked with Ty who is very professional and kept me up to date with the service order and made it a quick and easy process. They offer a shuttle service within 10 miles, both drivers I had were very friendly and called me before pick up. Outstanding customer service all around and I will definitely be making Hall my go to service place.

They were amazing, especially the service admin named Ty who dealt with me directly. They took care of my truck way faster then they scheduled after I had my brakes lock up.My truck was scheduled to be diagnosed on the 29th of October when i had to towed on a flat bed to get it taken care of approximately two weeks prior to the appointment. After only 2 days Ty gave me a call with a complete diagnosis and an estimate for everything. After ordering all the parts they got them in and had my truck repaired in an extremely fast manner.They’re extremely professional people. And they’ll communicate any and all concerns you have in regards to your vehicle.10/10 would recommend and 10/10 Ty needs a pay raise

I went in person last week to schedule my Dodge in for service and to take care of a recall. I scheduled it for August 18, 2021 at 8:30AM. Today (Tuesday August 17, 2021) at 7:30 I got a call from Ty wondering where I was at for my appointment?? I indicated it was for the next day. They shifted it to Wednesday. After taking a deeper look at some other reviews regarding the service department after this experience today, I decided to cancel and have my vehicle serviced elsewhere. Apparently, this isnt the first time theyve messed up with their appointments and scheduling. If they cannot get an appointment right, I absolutely dont trust them with servicing my car and taking care of a safety recall.**Update as of 9/20/21: Added a star (with a chance to increase after service). Despite the note below, I never got a call from Kevin (why I only changed it by one star for now). I had some time as I was across the street dealing with my sons car and went into the shop to seek him out and discuss the situation. After speaking with Kevin today, I will give this another chance and provide an updated review on the experience after business has concluded. Misunderstandings take place sometimes.

Decent purchase experience minus all the attempted upselling, but service has been lousy. We decided to follow up here even thought it’s far from our house because we thought the buying experience was good and had high hopes for continued good service.We needed a trailer brake controller installed on our RAM 1500. We ordered it (and paid) back in April, but it was back ordered. They said they’d call us when it arrived so that we could schedule installation. Fast forward to September, and we haven’t heard a peep. My husband called, and was told it had “just arrived” and they’d call back to schedule installation. Never heard a word back (again). Called back and left a voicemail. Didn’t hear back at all. We just went to pick it up and the part is marked as shipped in June! We’re going to have it installed somewhere else where the communication is not quite so nonexistent.

This is why places like CARMAX exist. High pressure sales that try to see how much money they can shake you down for instead of an upfront honest profit. They hold your keys after done valuing your trade to keep you there longer and they do not stand by the offer letter enough to even let you take the paper with you. Will give you a hard time for requesting invoice price. Stick with a no hassle dealership like Casey. They also pad the offer with several additional dealer fees. I understand everyone has to make money, but don’t make it a shady process. Worst experience in a dealership. Thank goodness we did not buy there once we got home we realized truecar price was significantly cheaper.

I made a service appointment online and when I called to confirm the appointment and ask a few questions, no one answered. A few minutes after calling, I went in for my appointment and they had no customers, but they were having personal conversations when I arrived. I didn’t get greeted when I walked in and I just didn’t feel welcomed. Also, my service wasn’t completed correctly. I will never go here again or recommend any sales from this place.

Called to schedule a test drive of a pre-owned car and ensure it was available. Hailey said she’d pull the keys and have it ready. Then, they marked the price up nearly 10% and refused to honor the advertised price, claiming it was a misquote. Absolutely unacceptable!

I rarely ever post anything as far as reviews. But I must say the car buying experience I had at Hall Chrysler Dodge Ram is well worth many reviews. Eric Osbourne is amazing. It was literally like he read my mind of what I was looking for as soon as we met. After giving me his business card, he went inside while I continued to look through their large inventory of new vehicles (which is amazing as other lots are scarce with selections due to results of the pandemic). As I found one that I fell in love with he was already coming all the way down to the very end of the huge lot with that key right as I was about to call him for it. Eric is very knowledgeable with every car on the lot and very skilled at his profession. He and the staff at Hall worked a deal that fit my budget even with these hard times with a chip shortage for new vehicles. If you are looking for a great deal along with a real professional that wants to help you please visit Hall in Virginia Beach and ask for Eric Osbourne!!!! I got ram 1500 with a good deal. After looking at used trucks i found out i was better just buying a new one all together. I looked around and saw market average for the 1500. I went to a few dealerships and got some offers in writing to use a tool to hagel with, most of them had the prices at msrp or higher for low supply. Many of the dealerships didnt have the options or choices i wanted without it being fully loaded. Tj found a truck that had the excessories i wanted and without all the ones i didnt want to pay for. So with the offers which were pretty good, like 1000 over invoice, they were pretty aggressive that they could still beat it. Tldr at the end i ended up paying 500 under msrp out the door. I went on a rainy day so i dont know if thats why i got a great deal. There was some spots in the paint that had scratches and Charles the manager took care of it even after the deal went through.

My experience with the salesman, Kelvin, was amazing. He provided me options and worked with me in a very friendly, professional manor. My experience fell very short when it came to buying out my current lease. Hall Chysler dodge Jeep ram. Failed to send out the payout check to buy out my lease, this hit me with a payment on a Honda I no longer owned and was in Halls possession. I then called Honda, turned off my automatic payments and called Hall. I was told this situation was then fixed and I would have no more issues and would be reimbursed. 3 months later I get hit with a “we’re coming to reposes your Honda Civic notice” and get slapped with a 65 point hit on my credit score for late payments on a car I do not own, and Hall has already sold!! I then had to spend 2 days with multiple phone calls to Hall demanding it be fixed. They apologized and said they messed up and never payed off the car, which “explains why they’ve had issues getting the new owner of my old civic the title to the car”. Honestly ridiculous. 2 weeks later of fighting with the credit union for a mistake that was not my fault my credit score only went back up 22 points. So now I’m stuck with a horrible credit score for god knows how long all because of their “accidental mess up”. They have impacted me for years to come, and they don’t seem to care. After my lease is done with my Ram I will never be back to this dealership.

I just got my Jeep serviced on Monday and I had new windshield wipers installed. They were not installed correctly and because of that I almost crashed on the monitor Merrimack when it started pouring rain. If I could give zero stars I would. Highly do not recommend this service department. I have never left a review in my life but this is the second time I have had really terrible service at this dealership.I have updated my review to 3 stars. This service department is lucky to have Kevin Cooke. He was super professional and understood the gravity of the situation. They were sincerely apologetic which I appreciated.

Let me start by saying that everyone Ive met who works at this location is super friendly and conscientious. From the service manager Kevin, to the techs to the service advisors, you always feel like youre in good hands. A couple years ago, I went to another dealership for some alignment issues and was basically told, sorry bud, tough luck, we dont know whats going on with your alignment, and we although we can get it to more or less drive straight, the toe and camber will be way off and your tires are gonna wear unevenly....Which in fact, they have, causing me to buy tires twice as often and to be quite bummed out that nothing could be done to fix my alignment. HOWEVER>>>Fast forward a couple years to this week, I brought my car in and worked with Ty the rockstar service advisor who somehow worked his Mopar diagnostic magic and was able to find a small broken clip in my strut mount that had been causing the issues all along! Why couldnt other dealerships find this???...Well, I dont know, but Ty, YOU ARE THE MAN, I appreciate it so so much. My car finally drives straight as an arrow AND is perfectly aligned...all from one little broken clip that no one else at any other dealerships ever noticed. Oh, and Ty worked with my warranty company too, saved me money and fixed my mopar heartache. God Bless you guys, thank you so much!

Had a really hard time deciding between 3 and 2 stars, but here is the gist of itBought a 2020 Cherokee Trailhawk here from a rental turn in. I love the Jeep a ton, but there were a few big issues I had. I went in with a price in mind, and the features I wanted, and I really got neither one. Obviously at a dealer there is a lot of negotiating and haggling, but they were super firm on price. They gave me a super low price on my trade in, but I figured I could work around that. At purchase I asked for the registration fees to not be added as I was just transferring plates over. They proceeded to register my car anyways, so I ended up leaving with plates I didnt ask for, and the plate I wanted to swap over ( which was recently registered a month or so prior). Basically paid 2 registration fees. They then put the plates on the wrong vehicle when I left, which isnt a huge deal as I came back for them a couple days later, but still.I was asking about the off-road pages, and I was told it was just a software update, and could be added after purchase. Upon further research and asking more questions, the off-road pages could not be added, as I would require navigation which my radio was not compatible with. Really upset with that one, as I love to off-road with the Jeep, and those inclinometer pages would really help a ton.What really knocked this down to 2 stars was help after purchase. I needed a hitch and harness installed (I had the OEM parts in hand) as I was moving out of state and needed to tow a small trailer. I called several times and left several messages about scheduling an installation. My calls were never returned, and ended up going elsewhere for install. After my initial purchase, I noticed the Jeep was never cleaned inside with multiple areas of sticky residue and overall dirt everywhere inside, and multiple mismatched tires, and most tires were severely low on tread. I understand the purchase is as is, but they could have at least cleaned the vehicle before or even after purchase. Again, I needed to go elsewhere for these issues.Overall, I love the Jeep I purchased here, but it wasnt because of this dealership. With the terrible after purchase care, and the mediocre purchase experience, you can easily find a better purchase experience and better after purchase care elsewhere.

Had a great experience with Hall. I came from Northern Virginia for purchasing my car. I quoted a price on phone and the dealership honored it. My sales rep was Shawna Condrey who was amazing! She was cordial and very easy to work with. She addressed all my questions and concerns, and went above and beyond to help. I arrived at the dealership expecting to spend entire day with the paperwork but Shawna had everything ready and I was able to take delivery of my car within 90 minutes which included registration and number plate installation. I also spoke with her manager Charles who was great and made sure my needs were being taken care of. Finance didnt push me to buy any additional products or warranties and the paperwork was very quick and easy. Overall my car buying experience was great. I would definitely come back to Hall for my next Dodge purchase.

I recently purchased a 2019 Versa from this location. While I had some concerns with the vehicle, honestly just the color (it’s white), I can say it’s starting to grow on me. My sales person Christian was super awesome. Super laid back guy who didn’t think my test driving was terrible. He answered my questions regarding the call, and helped me with the cars features. When I got into financing, I was even pleased to see my monthly payment was going to be way less than I thought. Christian, if you’re reading this, you did awesome dude. I love this car.

This is the second time I have been to this dealership. The first time I chalked it up to lack of communication with the service writer, but the same thing happened today as well.There is no initiation of communication from the service writer, I had to do the follow up at 4:00 PM after not hearing from her the entire day. When I spoke with her she advised me they would need to have my car until the following morning at 9:00 AM. No explanation of why. I was advised it would be completed that day, not 9:00 AM the following day just FYI.Then the I get an email from them at 6:30 PM (30 minutes after they closed) to let me know of other issues they found with my vehicle. Over $2K worth of repairs they are recommending making. Of course I cannot discuss with anyone as they are closed for the evening.The following morning I advise them to not do any additional work as I am on my way to pick it up. When I arrive, I am told its is not really safe to drive and I should drive it directly to the other shop if that is where I was going to take it. Obviously this was not brought up until I arrived at the dealership.And it went on and on and on...................I tried this place 2 times and both times had bad experiences. Hopefully this note hits someones desk so they know if the lack of customer service the service department provides.4-14-21 -- Update. The manager, Kevin, called me and left a voicemail. I called him back on the same date and have not received a call back (more than 48 hours later).4-19-21 / I spoke with Kevin and discussed the interactions. He apologized and addressed my concerns. I decided to try them for a third time due to my interaction with the manager, Kevin. They got the vehicle done early and it all appears to be in good working order. I will go back again based on the manager, Kevin.

Great saleswoman assisted me when I purchased my vehicle. Bought my vehicle in November 2020 with the contingency that I would get my mirror fixed. I made several attempted calls to the dealership to get the issue fixed. Finally got the service manager on the phone who ordered me 2 brand new mirrors. He was super empathetic to the situation. But took me 2 additional months to get it scheduled. Parts department will NOT give you a call when your parts come in. You have to constantly call, yourself and hope you talk to someone competent enough to know what you are talking about or ATLEAST act like they care. When I finally got confirmation that the CORRECT parts came in they transferred me to service, who just hung up on me. So, now Im leaving messages because the service department doesnt like answering the phone. The voice-mail states that if you leave a message someone will call you back; they WONT! You have to keep calling, hoping someone will answer so you can schedule an appointment. I have never been more frustrated with a company in my life. It is May 2021. Finally here on appointment, just for a rude young lady to tell me she will try to get to it as soon as possible when I had an appointment at 8:30am. So now Im stuck in this God awful place for Lord knows how long waiting on an issue to get fixed that took 6 months to get fixed.Not only will I never buy another car from this company; I will do my due diligence to make sure no one that Im associated with will ever make the mistake of purchasing a vehicle or getting their vehicle serviced here. Definitely the worst dealership in all of Hampton roads!

Had my 2015 Eco Diesel Jeep for some issues with Recalls. It turned into one thing after another and my car was in for much longer then anticipated. But Nicole, my service rep, was nothing short of amazing. In a scenario that could have been really frustrating, she made sure to take the time to explain everything that was happening. She went above and beyond any service I have ever received.The texting platform they have here is amazing as well. Instead of constantly calling up and inquiring I simply send a text and. Nicole got right back to me.Even though there is a Jeep service provider 10 minutes from my house i will take the 30 minute drive to this provider, because they value their customers.The brand new facility is top notch.

What I liked was oil changes are by appointment. No 3 hour wait time. Clean and organized process. You drop off and pickup your vehicle from the inside of the service lane. Service provider was very professional and provided appropriate discount as the website advertised. Staff is sensitive to covid-19 precautions.

Dropped my vehicle off at 8am for an oil change for a recall, bulb replacement, state inspection, and added on an alignment. All these items were scheduled for an appointment with the exception of an alignment. These items were all authorized to be done prior to leaving the car there. Got an email with the inspection of the vehicle at 1145. I called back at 12. Did not receive any other contact until 130 pm. I then had to reauthorize the work I had already authorized. Picked up the car at 330 because I showed up. Only reason the vehicle went in was for the recall. Needless to say I will not be bringing another vehicle in. The timeliness of basic repairs and communication from the service department on status of the vehicle aleave a lot to be desired. Will be taking this back for the follow-up on the recall to another location.

I dont typically write negative reviews but feel compelled to do so, so others dont get taken advantage of. I put in an inquiry about a 2500 Ram. When I arrived to see about purchasing the vehicle I met a relatively new salesman that was very friendly and another salesman that was going to give him a hand. Another salesman or manager came over to help with the deal. I was lied to by him several times but the one I was most aggregated by was when he told me my trade was going to go straight to auction because of the number of miles on it. I confronted him and said so I wont see it on the lot in a few days to which he responded oh no. Well, its on the lot for sale. I did end up leasing the truck and had to bring something back the same day. I was called before I returned and was told the paperwork was wrong and I was going to have to sign the paperwork again but nothing changed . I put down $2000.00 and they accidentally haf my down-payment as $3,120.00. Foolishly I didnt question where the $1,120.00 difference went. Two weeks later I get a call and Im told they used the wrong lease company and could I come back and sign new paperwork? I was again told dont worry nothing changed. This time I brought back my original paperwork to compare it to the new paperwork. Everything seemed OK until I got to the residual value which was $8,300.00 higher than the original agreement. I asked why and was told because they did the program for a Ram 1500 instead of the 2500. I plan on purchasing the truck when the lease is over and if I just signed the paperwork trusting nothing changed I would end up paying an additional $8,300.00. I told them that wasnt the agreement and the sales Manger came over and told me they would eat the difference. I find it hard to believe a company that has been doing this for a very long time would make these mistakes and I left feeling like they were trying to take advantage of me. Purchasing or leasing a new vehicle should be a pleasant experience and this was certainly not the case.

Bad news! Stay away from this money pit! They don’t take the time to actually troubleshoot your vehicle and it often comes back with the same issues or other undetected ones. Their inspection and diagnostic is a joke. They try to scam out on warranty repairs out of laziness and don’t honor the law that original estimates cannot exceed 10 percent more when you pick it up. Hall also tries to hold your vehicle for ransom illegally and try to charge you quote storage fees.” I wouldn’t recommend after going there 5 times and always being disappointed.

I had brought my car (2019 Jeep compass) in for a tire alignment and oil change and when I got it back it had a pull to the right afterwards and had to leave it overnight before it was finally fixed. Originally was not going to go back there but it is the closest and most convenient and needed an oil change and tire rotation. They did not visually inspect my tires or put air in my tires and I knew one was about to alarm so I was checked it before pulling out of the parking lot because from my understanding that was part of their standard checks and had to wait another half an hour for something that shouldve been done already. Then I had scheduled to see a car at their dealership at 9am last week. I was told that it was located at the Hall dealership in VA beach. They told me that it was no problem and they would bring it there. We showed up and they tried showing us a similar model that cost more and had more miles and lied saying that the car we wanted was already sold. When I called the location at VA beach they confirmed that it had not already sold. I told our salesperson that I had just spoke to their VA beach location and that we could just go over there if it was that big of an issue. That is when they finally went to get the car. After they got it they worked on the paperwork for hours and failed to write the mileage on the car down, so my husband had to go back so they could fix their mistake. Overall disappointed with the service of this place and will be taking my car elsewhere for its service in the future.

Took my Jeep Grand Cherokee in for service at Hall Chesapeake and was told I needed an entirely new transmission (over $4000). Later I went to Casey Chevrolet for a 2nd opinion, and turns out there was transmission fluid leak from some worn-down tubing. Got that fixed for a fraction of the cost, and car is now running great! Be cautious of the Service Department and dont hesitate to get a 2nd opinion if your estimate seems high.

Took 7 hours to do my free Jeep Wave program oil change and they overfilled the oil by 1.5qts! A completely incompetent service department. They also told me they would rotate all 5 tires for me when I dropped off. Turns out they dont do the spare unless you pay them to. Then why not say that in the beginning when I specifically mentioned rotating in the spare instead of looking me dead in the eyes and saying, Yeah that wont be a problem! This is how you lose customers that buy $59K Jeeps.

I received awesome customer service from the Hall Dodge team in western branch especially Nicole in service. And the mechanics are amazing they quickly diagnosed and fixed the problem. They got me in and out before my kids finished their Panera meals and started to complain of boredom. As a mom of three its greatly appreciated when you can get something done with out a fuss.

My husband and I came to the Western Branch location not expecting to leave with a vechicle..We met with Charles and Tj they took time with us listened to what we wanted.Let me mention they went above and beyond to put us in 2016 Ford Explorer!!! Work was completed on our vehicle satisfactorily, however be advised that this dealership’s policy forfeits the opportunity to take your vehicle home unless your insurance check comes in first. This may be an inconvenience for some as we needed to pay upfront to get our RAM back. Your insurance calling and verifying the check being enroute will not override this policy. Besides this detail happy with our experience.

We purchased a used Chrysler Pacifica from another dealership in the area. Within 2 days the car was leaking oil. The car only had 20,000 miles and shouldnt be leaking oil. The original dealer we bought the vehicle from had the vehicle 2 times and couldnt fix it. We took it to Hall Chrysler and they found the problem which was devastating. The motor was clogged with sludge and leaking from the oil pan. The car needed a new motor. The service we received from Hall was awesome because the other dealer wanted to patch it. Steve with Hall was very professional and wasnt going to allow us to be screwed over. We took the car back and got our money back. If it wasnt for Hall we would probably be driving the csr not knowing when it would fail.

Bought a new car from this dealership, the car had shifter and transmission problems after 11 days of having it. I was told there’s a no return policy on cars by the dealership. The salesman became very disrespectful, and rude when I tried to return the defected vehicle. He also threaten to call the police on me because I wasn’t “cooperating with him“. I would never buy another car from here.

Was not pleased with the service advisor recommendation about my tires. That led to my car getting a flat tire soon as I left. Thanks to the worker for getting me back to dealership to have the issue taken care of. However the service advisor seemed somewhat cold about situation and when the tire was changed my back rim was damaged. Prior to this there were no damage to any of my rims and the passenger front side is where the flat occurred and that rim didnt have damage and all my valve stem caps were now green. Then my trunk was in shambles, they didnt even put the spare back, just had it thrown in there. I called, emailed, and texted the number to this place to no avail. the next following day and week. Only was suppose to spend less than $200; well ending up spending twice that plus. Dont know what else happen to it while in the service department. Nothing was explained. Why?Service Date was Halloween 2020.

They were kind enough to adjust my morning appointment to an afternoon appointment at the last minute, which was greatly appreciated. The young lady took excellent care of us when we got to our afternoon appointment early. She was wonderful to deal with.The new waiting area is nicely appointed and inviting. With as many of us that were in there, we were all spread out “social distancing” appropriately, and it was still comfortable feeling. You don’t always get that nowadays. This waiting area was well designed. The tv was on and yet, it wasn’t loud in there. Another sweet lady came over and offered us some bottled waters, while we waited. I have to say, it was a nice experience and I was happily impressed.Now this is the part that got me. My 14yr old daughter with ASD usually can’t last long in a dealership. I usually get a how much longer, or can we go soon. She was quiet, never sneezed once(allergies), and she was not overwhelmed at all. This morning Hall Dodge impressed me more than they could imagine. For a waiting room to be serene enough, to keep an ASD kid from being overwhelmed or annoyed. Now, that’s impressive!Great job! Quick service! Wonderful experience!

New facility is hella better than the Tent. Only down side is that this is the second time I had to wait over 3 hours for an oil change, tire rotation, and crystal fusion treatment. I even dropped it off about 45 minutes prior to my appointment time. Pretty crazy for a service I paid for.

Had a leak in my jeep wrangler, (common issue for wrangler they made me pay around 140 to get it looked at (reasonable i guess) but when they looked they said that they would replace the doors and seals for 4.5 grand and said that maybe it still wouldn’t be fixed completely. get the hell outta here. why i’m giving them 2/5 is they were all very nice people.
