My favorite beauty supply store and I don’t even live in VA! I follow their Instagram page and they ALWAYS have sales. Employees are always friendly and helpful. Their selection of products is amazing. Every time I come to visit this is my go to. I wish they were in my area b/c that’s just how wonderful they are.

I experienced the best customer service one could ever hope to experience at Diamond Beauty.. I was coming from the HAMPTON store and encountered standstill traffic and the young man I believe his name is Drumlin stayed at the store an additional hour to wait for me. When I arrived he was not angry or frustrated or disgruntled, he provided exceptional customer service! I am eternally grateful and would recommend this store if you are looking for quality products and exceptional customer service!

I absolutely love this beauty supply store. When I say they have everything, I mean they have EVERYTHING!!! Hughes selection of childrens beads and barrettes, ribbons and more for the little girls!!!! The wig selection needs a shout out all on its own, when I say its like an entirely different store, the selection is massive and reasonable priced!!! Clothes, purses, makeup, belts, you name it they got it!!! They even have professional products for the licensed professional!!!!!!

I usually have a good experience. This is the only hair store I go to and refer ppl too for years. But not after today. I experienced this lace glue drying purple on a client Tuesday. (I used 3 thin layers). I thought to try it out again today and apply it in even thinner layers on myself (I used 2 thinner layers). It still turned purple. I let him know over the phone and he said to bring the glue and receipt I could exchange it. I get to the store and he starts testing it on a piece of plastic wrapper he seen it was purple but it dried clear once he spread it around as thin as he could. He then tested it on his skin.  A coworker then begin watching who obviously from the jump was against the exchange and is rude as she was on Tuesday when I purchased it along with other items. She eagerly  exclaimed its clear! And then she walked away. He also opened a glue from behind the counter which I immediately noticed came out more opaque than the one I have. I didnt want a refund. I thought it would be more considerate to exchange for something else. I tested it on my hand with it was purple. Then he pressed it in and it turned white. He said he would no longer exchange it.. I tried it again and eventually it did dry clear. Like I told him idk if it was cleaning the skin prior with alcohol or what but all I can tell him is my experience on the hairline. He basically said if it was cheap alcohol thats a possibility insinuating I got it from dollar tree which I didnt but thats neither hear or there. I wasted my gas and both of our time. I wouldnt have came all the way up there if he was just going to try and prove me wrong. Looking at my receipt I noticed the product was discounted $2 cheaper. Maybe bc its old and they are trying to get rid of it? Idk. All I know is I have used this product before and this had never happened

Sold me a faulty lace wig on 2/24 for double the price of what it’s actually worth. I wore it 4 times and the lace ripped on the side every time I tried to comb out the knots. The final straw was when the middle part ripped out. I callee customer service on the evening of 3/4 and after being told angrily that they were closed by a very rude man, I was told to come in the next day after 12 to with the wig manager, Ms. Kim. She was even more rude than the man. She absolutely refused to use words with me and just shook her head no as I tried to explain the situation. It was an absolutely demoralizing experience. I will never return to this place of business.

I love love love this store. #1 it’s organized! #2 it’s up to date on the selection of items. #3 the owners/ workers are respectful. #4 they give military discounts. #5 it’s close to my house. The very first time I walked in the store I stumbled upon it by accident and had just moved to the area. I immediately got excited I was impressed. No one watching you constantly... and they can help as well as know what they are talking about when they do. They have a wide selection to choose from I just love them. They need to give me part time job there I love it so much.

I didnt notice until I got home that the female cashier didnt take 10% off of the item I bought today.

So I bought a wig from here last week and I’m 95% sure it is synthetic. Which I was under the impression that it was human hair, I drove all the way from vb to come here after messaging the Instagram page inquiring about a specific length of wig I was looking for so I was super excited to come because everyone else didn’t have any hair on hand. Anyways I come, and immediately am very excited with all the products they have, so I browse around and pick up a couple other miscellaneous items and head to the counter to inquire once again about the wig which they pointed me to a whole other section of the store. I go over there and am met with a middle aged Asian lady and she shows me all the wigs they have and the aisle we were looking at Were all human hair wigs (which is what I wanted) so anyways she shows me the wig I was looking for but apparently it’s the only one left and it was the one on display. I felt the hair and it was a bit dry and tangled but I just brushed it off because it was on display so I assumed it must been like that cause people constantly touching it etc, so she gives me a discount so it was the last one (I paid around $400) so I checkout and like I said I was very excited to try this wig so immediately I go to customize it and I put bleach on the knots. I walk away and do something else for 30-40 mins and come back and wash the hair. I noticed while I washed the bleach out that there was a black/brown color coming from the wig which was a red flag to me but I also brushed that off as the wig being dirty from being on display. Anyways so I finished washing it and notice the knots didn’t even bleach. I just assumed I used poor technique and next day I finally wear the wig out. It got tangled so quick ! I ended up taking it off cause it was getting so tangled even though I moisturized it and used a good amount of products to make sure the hair wasn’t so dry. Fast forward to now I was getting suspicious of the wig as it was sitting on my wig stand while I bleached my other wig that I decided to test my theory out, I did a patch test of bleach to see if it would even take. I wash both wigs and only one of them took, and it wasn’t the wig I bought from here. I’m at a lost because unfortunately I’m not sure if there is anything they can do as I already cut the lace and threw away receipt so it’s my word against theirs. But I’m very upset since I spent so much money on a synthetic wig

I am late with my review but I really wanted to make sure I let everyone know of the service I received here.I had been looking for a certain kind of hair for a birthday do. I had called several places all claiming they had the hair but when I reached there they didnt. I finally called Diamond Beauty and they too said they had it. When I got there I walked around for a min (without having all eyes on me ❤️) then went to the counter. The gentleman there asked if he could help and I told him what I was looking for and he replied Yeah I remember you calling I put it to the side for you. I was automatically happy because all the other stores had to search and again didnt even have it. He showed me the hair and it was perfect. When I got the cash register the young lady checking me out was awesome. She told me about the hair and some up keep tips and asked me to come back so she could see how it turned out then she let me know the hair was on sale SCORE. I left laughing and truly feeling like they appreciated me as well as my business. I will be returning soon for more hair and look forward to more great service.
