I dont understand how theyre going to compete with the Indian store Janta right down the street on Lee highway. Good collection of vegetables, but not much variety for an Indian store

I am very DISGUSTED at the state and condition of this store. Overly expensive goods and vegetables, and most are either moldy and bad or expired. The owner is rude and they will cheat your out of money. There store looks like everything had just been thrown around without care. Many other good stores to buy stuff from. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS STORE TO ANYONE!!!! STAY AWAY!!!

It is a great place that have provided fresh vegetables and herbs that is needed for Indochinese cooking. It helps cut my trips to Atlanta to get groceries.

This place is absolutely magical to the average Tennessean grocery shopper who hasn’t witnessed the beauty of exotic produce. Fresh. Vibrant. Amazing. And at prices that are pretty low. The employees and manager are gracious, patient, cordial, and friendly. The manager had offered us samples of his delicious red bananas and my fiancée had fallen in love with their dessert-like quality. He was very helpful in letting us know what vegetables we were looking at as most were beautiful mysteries to us. We will be coming here regularly now and definitely, definitely recommend!

There owner had the worst customer service worst i have ever seen i would never come back here they were rude and there are many other Indian owned stores here and I discovered a new store called kitchen spices there are very great and they have a lot of good stuff there new products come of wedsday and the best place for Indian groceries hI hope this is very helpful to you

I must say that I get excited seeing all the delicious fruits and veggies. The owner and staff are top-notch. Whatever you dont see and would like to buy, let him know. He makes sure he gets it for you. Ive been coming here for years and have seen him grow.They carry #BEANSPROUTS! Yummy!! 😋Please like this post if youd like to see a mini market like this one in Dalton. I actually favor an international farmers market like in Austell, GA.

Love this place. Very friendly and helpful. Great produce price. Always get my red lentils here for soup and they have mangos by the case as well as bulk rice and spices.

Good selection. I buy Chinese eggplants, broccoli, oppo squash, persimmons, white mushroom, Napa cabbage, string beans, bean sprouts, Brussels sprouts, tofu, etc. here for very reasonable prices. This store is like an oasis in Chattanooga. I saw a small vendor like this in Nashville International Market many years ago. She was so successful that she expanded her business from a stand to a big grocery store (it still carries a good produce selection). Lets give India Bazar more support. We need a good store like this in Chattanooga.

I absolutely love coming here. Not only are the prices very low but there are a bunch of exotic foods that you wont find at most other places. Definitely recommend coming here!

First, it seems some of the reviewers are confusing the grocery shop with the Indian restaurant next to it. India Bazar is the grocery shop, and that is what I am reviewing. I have been shopping in this place for many years, since the owner only had half of the current shop. I loved the place and had lots of respect to the hardworking manager. The produce was always fresh and prices were cheaper than other places. I had no problems whatsoever, until just recently. Like two previous reviewers, I had bought some vegetables from the store and when I went back home, I found they were bad. Apparently they were out for a long time and were not fresh. When I went back to the shop, the staff (which was very rude) asked if I had the receipt, I said I did. I continued shopping and few minutes later he came and told me that he couldnt refund me the money. I asked to speak to the manager, who told me that its impossible for their vegetables to go bad because they are continuously stocking them. I went to the pin and picked some vegetables that were bad. He refused to talk to me after that and was also extremely rude. Its unfortunate that business owners think that losing a customer or two would not affect their business. I wont be shopping there any more and I advice if you do, then make sure you check your grocery well before you pay for it.

Very good Indian store and really all items are available. Every Wednesday the produce available are so fresh and all wide variety of vegetables is their best. Only reason for 4 star rating is just because some of the items sold are slightly priced higher when compared to their competitors.

We love the people that work there and the quality of the food.

Be careful when you shop there. Sometime they cheat you by talking with customer while ringing and you will never notice he punched way over then what you suppose to pay. Check you receipt.

There are some very good products in a very good price, especially Wednesday afternoon.

Small Indian grocery.. but they keep it stocked well.. they tend to have usually what you will need.. pelrices a bit higher than usually but for Chattanooga its as good as its gonna get.. check it out if you need any desi items..

We shop every week here, good vegetables, best prices in the area, and friendly staff.

Had very bad experience with the store. Had purchased some chapati. When open the packet next day, I found it was bad due to mold /fungus growing around the chapatis. Took them to the store to complain and return/exchange it ( along with the receipt) but they refused saying that once you take it our from store than its not their problem regarding any items purchased. With 2 more stores already open and one more opening soon, plz learn some customer service.
