Small, local business, that had the cord I needed. I wasnt able to find the cord at any of the big corporate places in town, so I decided to call this business. They had them in stock for an affordable price. When I arrived, staff showed me where product was at, and were very friendly during the checkout process. Will definitely look to them in the future rather than Best Buy or Office Depot.

I have been buying products from them since at least 1975. All through the years the various staff members have been very helpful and given great service!

Friendly, helpful staff with good knowledge of their industry. Ive found that their prices are really competitive, especially on general materials like Cat6 cable rolls, etc. I always make a point to give them a shot before turning to Newegg or Amazon when possible and they rarely disappoint.

My husband is an IT Director and I work at a church. We both are regular customers of Shields. They get to know their steady customers and are extremely helpful. Prices are cheaper than some retail places like Radio Shack and they have much of the odd stuff that is hard to find. Their PC repair guy is very good and gives better prices than anywhere I have ever used.

I really like this place, but man, its really expensive.As far as I know, its the only place in Chattanooga to find weird tools and components. Dont get me wrong, the service is fantastic, and for EEs, they probably have anything and everything youre looking for. But, their markups are ridiculous- especially for loose circuitry components or project kits.If you need a part or tool ASAP and you cant find it at Radio Shack or you cant make it to Frys, I recommend going to Shields. Otherwise, just get it from Amazon.
