Cassandra in the TN Salon did a terrific job and fixed up a previous bad cut. I recommend her. However, although I had booked two weeks in advance and even re-confirmed and was there at store opening, she was already cutting someone elses hair at my appt time and I was told my appt did not exist. They eventually found it. The app apparently allows several people to book for the same hair stylist and just pushes over the original appointments where they will not be seen. The Salon seems to also allow individuals to arrive for service before store opening.All the other hair stylists were without appointments. Its pretty ridiculous that they had to double-book for Cassandra, the ONLY hair stylist who had an 11 am appt with me. I will not be using the JC Penney salon again.

Ive went there for years in Cleveland and I loved my hair stylist.

They have stylists that can do anything! Locs, color, blowouts, etc..I am glad I went!

My husband, who is a big guy and not tender headed, got his haircut here and had a horrible experience. He said it was so painful it’s like the woman was pulling his hair out, even after he commented about it and it still hurt 30 minutes later. A haircut is usually a relaxing experience not aggressive and painful. it’s unfortunate this place is the only place you can go in the mall for a cut.

5 stars to Amy! You can tell she really knows hair, and she does great layers!4 stars to the salon itself. The receptionist could be a little friendlier.

I don’t usually write reviews but I would hate for someone else to have this experience. I took my son here for his first haircut (it’s a big deal for most moms). I left in tears. His haircut was terrible. It looked fine until she got the clippers out and made several gaps throughout his hair. No offense to the girl but knowing she had no idea how to cut a little ones hair would have been nice to know! Definitely won’t be back or recommend to anyone.

I tried to call to make an appointment and the lady was so rude. I don’t want to get my haircut there just by the phone call.
