It was more than just a pleasant experience. Justin Porter, the Sales Consultant was a pleasure to work with as well as Michael Bawgus, the Sales Manager and Nick in financial for completing the documents and paperwork was very explainative about all the documents. They truly worked as a team and worked closely together with us in order to purchase the vehicle that we did. They were extremely sincere in making sure that the vehicle was in the best shape to sell. I had been searching for a car for about 2 months. There were a couple of cars I had inquired about from another site that kept leading me to Miguel. After driving several used cars around town our last stop was acura of Chattanooga. We stopped in the used car department and were instantly greeted by a very nice salesperson. After all the used cars we drove we told him we were thinking about going new. Without hesitation he told us let me take you up front and find you a new car salesperson. He instantly found us someone to help us. Both salespeople were very helpful and helped us find what we wanted. The used car salesperson had our tradein looked over and priced before we even got back. After deciding what we wanted to do the new car salesperson got us the deal we were looking for and made sure we were happy. The sales manager helped us to make sure we got a good deal and a great payment. They were completely transparent in the whole process. Just got a new 2020 TLX. The salesperson Jay, was helpful and always available for questions. It was my first time buying a car, and he was patient with me through-out. 10/10 recommend. They will give you the best price and do everything they can to get your interest down. Great Experience!
They failed to disclose a $600.00 documentation fee (additional dealer profit) after we had an agreed upon price, and wasting my time. The dealer asked me to give them a chance and told me we wont be undersold. When I showed them multiple dealers were $1500 to $2100 cheaper on the identical CPO vehicle in Atlanta, Birmingham, and Knoxville they replied well you would have to drive 2 hours for that price. Do your homework 2 hr drive may save you $2000.00. After trying to get me to sign with the higher price than they agreed to they left us in the salesman office while they checked with the manager. While waiting we overheard another older salesman telling a new salesman how to lead the customer on so they will follow thru and buy a car. My wife found a car she wanted, and It has been on their lot for sale now over 4 months. While other dealers are starting to cut the price on their identical inventory these guys are sticking to their price and are well above other dealers pricing plus a higher doc fee than any other Acura dealer in a 250 mile radius. The people here are pleasant, but you probably will not get a fair deal here. Do yourself a favor and check around before you commit, and dont fill out any paperwork until they show you the purchase agreement.
Acura of Chattanooga checks off all the boxes. Andre the sales manager and Miguel the sales person are consummate professionals. My thoughts and feelings about doing business with Acura of Chattanooga are as follows. The first is genuine friendliness without being pushy or overbearing. They are knowledgeable and can articulate pros and cons of all their cars and features. They follow through with their 180 point inspection with actually resolving some of the findings of the inspections before we pick up the car. They dont leave it up to the consumer to go and fix it later on their own time after they bought it. The cars themselves seem to be cherry picked to begin with. So these cherry picked certified cars do carry a premium that at first I was reluctant to pay. Not anymore after careful consideration. We keep our cars a very long time so its vitally important to purchase a vehicle as factory new as humanly possible and as inexpensively as possible. We considered the Acura RDX Advance as the best possible compact SUV for our needs. It appears to be be the very best of its kind in various reviews. Acura of Chattanooga once again checks off all of the boxes and is the right place to purchase it.

Extremely disappointed with this experience. Bought a 2009 Scion for 9100. Tried to get them to come down $300 for the asthetic dmg and the issues with the front they refused to acknowledge, despite being obvious, because there was no reporred accident. They refused. Not even 12 hours later Ive discovered the car has a broken axel. They made us wait for over 2 hours. Ive never had such a disappointing experience from a car dealership, and thats saying something. I hope people think twice and then just dont shop here.I was asked to remove this review because it makes Acura look bad. Theyre not disputing its accuracy, they just dont want the truth of it to keep people from spending their money here.

I worked with Rob Erickson in the used car department and he made it the least painful car buying experience Ive ever had. He answered all of my questions, even though my car was not an Acura, and made the negotiation process very easy. He explained things every step of the way. All of the people we encountered were helpful and friendly, it was a great experience.
We just bought a jeep from Acuras used department and we used Al for the test drive, and purchase. Ive bought a lot of cars an never had more of an amazing experience than using him . Horrible experience, Lack of communication, and little respect for customer. I was in the market for a used car to keep the miles off my new SUV. Acura of Chattanooga happened to have the particular car I was looking for. A 2010 Toyota Prius 5. I work and drive in downtown Nashville and needed something that didnt pose a threat if it got scratched or dinged. On two separate occasions the sales team reached out to me. I told them that I would like to pay with a personal check for the car however the car was overpriced and perhaps the sales manager and I could negotiate. The first salesman informed me that the car was priced as it was and that they would let me know when they had inventory in my price range. I never gave a price range and received no phone call from the sales manager or salesman. One week later I get another text about the car from a different salesman and word for word repeats the entire spill to me in text. We will let you know when we have a car in your price range in our inventory. Firstly I dont have a price range because I never gave you one, Secondly, Im trying to negotiate a price and you dont have the courtesy to have your sales manager call me? Oh, is it because you would not be making a commission off of me because Im not financing a vehicle that is $4,000.00 over its current value. Just poor business skills and also leadership skills.
Everything about this dealership has been very positive, from my purchase in 2017 to every trip to the service department for maintenance and otherwise. Ive dealt with other car dealerships in Chattanooga and Im beyond impressed with Acura of Chattanooga. They have without a doubt earned my business in the future!!
I found a vehicle online and contacted Al. 2 days later the deal was done. I am 90 miles from the dealer and Al made sure that I got all the info I needed prior to driving down. He even had the car on the rack and made some photos, which were immediately sent to me for review. He provided an honest assessment via phone so that there were no surprises.Upon arrival, Al and Andrey provided the extra service to allow me to totally inspect and drive it until I was satisfied. The car was super clean under the hood and the undercarriage was amazingly rust free. Only a few marks on the car (car IS 9 years old!), but these were disclosed early in the process, so no harm done. Both gentlemen were polite and personable, and a pleasure to deal with.The car drove out well on the way home, and with the exception of the normal I-75 death merchants on the road, the trip was as enjoyable. I only feared for my life twice, so it was a relatively stress free trip.For people like me that dont like going to a dealer and prefer finding one-owners for sale on the free market, you could do a lot worse than these guys. In short, if they have a car you really like, give them a chance to make a deal.

Edit: September 2021 we went back to buy another used car. We did not hesitate to purchase the same day due to our previous good experience. Within 3 weeks, we were having trouble with both the heat/air and the battery light due to bad cables and battery. When we called them to bring the car in they told us that they dont get involved in that and that we would need to pay for the repair. Were just really disappointed that we didnt get the same the level of service as repeat customers.February 2021: We went in to test drive a used minivan that ended up not being what we needed. Rob was very patient with us and took the time to learn about what we were looking for. He showed us 4 other vehicles that matched our needs and found us a winner. The process was very easy which we were not expecting, especially since we had our 2 babies with us the entire time. This was the fastest and most painless car buying process we have ever experienced and we will happily return when the time comes.
Bill Stout and his employees are the only people I will buy a car from. My family has now purchased 4 cars from them and will continue for as long as they are in business. Most recently I purchased a used car from Bill and he personally drove it to my house to deliver it. We found a car online here that we scheduled a test drive for. Rob met us and brought the car around for my wife to test out. It was too small for what we needed and Rob agreed after we told him what we needed. He asked our budget and offered up options within that budget. LOTS of salesmen would have shown us more expensive automobiles trying for the bigger sale. Not so with Rob. We loved the Acura MDX we tested and gave him our info. We had to leave due to having two small children with us. Rob and I texted the rest of the deal with no pressure. Its my first stress-free experience buying a car and Im 42. I stopped by today for warranty work on a 13 year old vehicle. Ive read the horror stories online of places who do all they can to get out of doing warranty work so I was worried about how it might go. Im very pleased to report Stephanie and everyone else was super friendly and helpful.No fuss at all, they diagnosed it, told me it had a lifetime warranty and ordered the part. I will have to return since the part wasnt in stock but it goes a long way toward putting me at ease that they want to help even if its just honoring a warranty issue.

I moved to Chattanooga already owning an Acura. It is very new and I dont know everything I want to about some of the features. I stopped in and spoke to a salesman (Jay) who took the time to go out to my car and explain how a feature worked. I was very impressed since he knew he was not going to get a sale but still spent time making sure I was a happy Acura owner.I love my MDX and I now love knowing that when Im ready to trade for another Acura, Chattanooga has a good dealership with people who go the extra mile to help you.

I cannot say enough good things about Miguel Bazan and Al Hatcher with the pre-owned group. I have been trying to figure out what my next car will be and have stopped in several times over the past few months while on this quest. Every time I walk in the door, I am greeted with smiles and what can we help you with today?. Miguel has gone on several test drives with me as I have tried to figure out what my next pre-owned vehicle will be (I keep one for 300k miles, so it has to be one I will be happy with for years to come). Acura of Chattanooga does not take the pushy sales guy approach of trying to bully me into buying NOW; they take the approach of lets build a relationship with our neighbor and make sure they go home happy. Miguel and Al and the rest of the sales (and service) team have done such a good job of this, that I desperately hope to find and purchase my next vehicle with them. I already have plans to switch to their service department because of the consistently positive experience I have had with the entire staff. Miguel and Al have even offered to help procure the car I want (if I could only tell them what it is!!). We have had one experience with them so far, and it was fantastic! I have an Acura MDX that was bought used and it had some issues. I called the honda dealership in Cleveland, to get a price, and they exceeded the Acura dealership. We dealt with the Honda of Cleveland before and spent a pretty penny without much effect. I was glad to try out a different option, with Acura. We dealt with Kevin, explained our concerns and dropped off the car. He made sure to fully understand our concerns and even helped adjust the budget to fit everything in we needed done. We picked up the MDX and it was running better than before we bought it! I was so excited to have such pleasant customer service and a big difference in my vehicle. Thank you Kevin and Acura for giving back my faith in mechanic work😄

I was looking for a very specific Acura that was no longer available in my market, so I went to the internet and a nationwide search to locate what I need.In the end, I didnt buy from Jay because another dealer had the exact color I wanted (and Jay didnt), but I truly wanted to give my business to Jay and Chattanooga simply because they treated my with great respect and dealt with me with utmost honesty. Jay was timely with responses and information. He asked important clarifying questions to ensure that he was working toward my best solution. Jay was upfront with pricing -- providing more competitive pricing than anyone else in the country. He also came out of the shoot with such a great price that I never had to wonder if he was giving me his best deal or had to haggle to get him to a fair price. Even though I live far away, I will call Jay next time Im looking for a car because I know Ill receive unparalleled treatment. Im sad that I couldnt give him my business, but I hope these comments will encourage someone to reward this team for their great work (plus, you owe it to yourself to go with the best).
I had to stop in to get some parts for my TL and Chase was incredibly helpful, so helpful in fact I ended up ordering more parts than I originally planned on
