I was having a problem with my 2015 Toyota Prius V brakes. This is no simple car to repair in some situations. The Abs light was staying on and brakes were not responding correctly. Allen took the time to explain everything to me. I thought I would have to go to a Toyota dealership but Allen and his crew did an excellent job at a fraction of the cost. I also saw other hybrids there getting repairs. I will definitely go back to this shop.
Decent prices, excellent service & very friendly and funny staff. All around great mechanics and I feel confident that my car is safe in their hands.
Have used these guys exclusively for almost 10 years. Never been disappointed. For the caliber of work they do, their price cannot be beat. They are always great at communicating what needs to be done or not done and turnaround times are always good.
Called them asking about a problem with my car and he suggested I bring it in because he couldnt tell me the problem without looking at the car I understand that so he was honest and I appreciate that
Very nice people
Called to see if I could store my broken down car there for a few days. The person on the phone told me yes but when I got there, the same person I spoke to on the phone was incredibly rude and told me he didn’t have any space. Save your time and money and go somewhere else.
Went to get my oil changed and bew windshield wipers.. Spent $125 for both
Should not start arguments with a potential customer. Lost my business before I even had the chance to walk in the door. Started arguing with me about how a master cylinder works to someone who is ASE certified. Do not recommend them.
These guys seem sketchy, and I saved $300 by going to a different mechanic.I needed help changing out the front oxygen sensor on my truck. The check engine code reader told me I had a faulty front oxygen sensor. It would be easy to swap it out, but the bolts were damaged by rust and I had zero chance of removing them alone. The mechanic quoted me $500 to remove and replace the sensor. About $300 for the part and at least $200 for labor. He also said that the oxygen sensor was probably fine, that they are robust parts and rarely fail, and that check engine code likely meant there was something else wrong with the engine’s combustion.Given that my truck is twenty years old and rusted out from a decade of New England winters, this mechanic was probably correct. I get it. He was setting expectations. That’s totally fair. But $300 for the part didn’t sit well with me. And I had read about several first generation Toyota Tacomas having the oxygen sensor fail at around the same mileage. I also read the part cost around $120.So I called O’Reillys on 23rd street and they had the oxygen sensor in stock for $140. I bought the part and drove to another Southside mechanic who swapped it out for $60. The check engine light turned off, gas mileage increased, and the engine’s power improved. These guys could have looked up the price of the part before the quote. And they could have looked at my vehicle before deciding on $200 for labor. Now I wonder if they have overcharged people who didn’t do any background research.
Did a great job at a really fair price!! These guys are top notch! I was stranded with a broken water pump and they were more than accommodating! Do yourself a favor and go see them
Customer service excellent gives full detail of what is needed before doing anything guarantee their work clean garage and workers
I never Experience such bad treatment this team is very disrespectful to there customers the owner actual told me he wouldn’t spend a dime on getting a car like fixed very unprofessional I wouldn’t recommend any to go there 👿😡😡😡
I think I got a fair price when I got my car repaired there. I would take my car there again if I needed it repaired again. I would recommend this repair to others. 👍👍
Was on my way to work when I noticed I had a low tire. Checked and sure enough I ran over a bottle. I stumbled upon this place as it was the closest option. They took care of me quickly and kept me entertained while I waited. Overall I was very pleased with the service I was provided. They did not take American Express- but that was okay.
Great car shop. Had my truck done the same day. Paid $76 for a diagnosis, Midas charges $90 for a diagnosis, its expensive just to learn whats wrong with your car but I guess thats one of those things you just have to pay for every once in a while. I thought my truck engine was totaled, it was relieving to find out that it only needed a new mass air flow sensor. They wanted an extra $175 to purchase and have them install a new mass air flow sensor but I found a brand new aftermarket one on eBay for $41, free shipping, and I installed it myself in less than 5 minutes a few days later. Great move on my part haha, $134 cheaper than what they were charging... They are a great shop though, the front office looks really cool too.
These guys saved me 3000 bucks. Not kidding. Dealership estimate was 4300. Allan and his guys got the work done for way cheaper and in about 24 hrs. Theyre honest and friendly. Stop paying the dealership. Go see these dudes.
I have a 2001 prius. Its old but a great car. Scenic City knows what they are doing with it and always make sure that all of it is running correctly. They fix its loud roar for only about $350 as it was a wheel issue. Every dealership i went to said i had a bad cat. Converter which is a 2000 dollar repair. They found out it was fine. Now my car runs like its new. I would highly recommend them especially to hybrid owners!
I pulled in on a Friday at 4:00pm with my car over heating. These guys were so kind, fixed me up and got me on my way. I was far from home and so appreciated their efforts. Highly recommend!!!
I was very displeased. I went in December 20th and they told me they my car had jumped time and that I needed to change my timing belt and water pump. So I went and bought the parts to have someone else put them on and was told that my timing belt was fine so was my water pump and it had not jumped time but it was a sensor.
We had a van break down en route to Florida. Alan saved the day! They looked at it right away, were clear about what they could find and what they might find and got us back on the road the same day. Very professional. Very honest.
These guys really know their way around cars! They will get my business every time! Great people too!
I had breakdown late at night driving north to Nashville and noticed multiple warning lights pop up on my dash. Realizing this would not be a slam dunk to diagnose and fix, I was in a total panic. After scouring the internet, calling the dealership, and visiting several other mechanics who could not help me, I was told about Scenic City by a guy at NTB. The Scenic City team was amazing! Very service oriented, and more importantly, were the only ones to have ALL the right equipment, know how, and patience to diagnose and fix the problem. Theres no way what I paid couldve covered all the time they put into solving my problem. Im a happy camper now..car runs like a dream. If you want quality and honest help, call these guys!
