My car buying experience at Flow Mazda of Charlottesville could not have gone any better. Ray Jordan and his Sales Manager, Todd were able to quickly find the car that I wanted also gave me a fair value for my trade-in. Ray is very knowledgeable about the Mazda products and provides information in a no pressure manner. What impressed me the most was his detailed 30-minute intro to the cars features AFTER I had bought it and his availability for any questions that I may have in the future. Thanks Ray.

I purchased a hard to find Mazda Miata from out of state (NY). Ray Jordan, and sales manager Todd provided an outstanding remote buying experience, and matched the trade value offered by a local dealer. After driving 8 hours down from NY to VA, they had me out the door in 40 minutes, complete with infotainment system tour. Todd and his staff were very helpful handling the NY DMV paperwork and the hassles it brought. This purchase, even being remote, ties #1 for my best dealer experiences. Dropped my car off to have two key fobs programmed, since the first place messed them up and told me I would have to take them to the dealer. Told me key fob was broken and needed to be replaced for 400$. Brought it to a third shop, they told me fob was fine just needed a new 10$ key and they programmed everything just fine. I honestly just feel ripped off. I feel like I paid them 125$ just so they could try to sell me things I didnt need. Never again.I did give two stars instead of one because my service advisor was nice.

My test drive was much more educational and low-pressure than a pushy try for a sale. It was also longer than a quick turnaround on Pantops, as I have experience with competing dealers. I had the wonderful experience of purchasing a 2021 Mazda CX-5 Touring with Premium Package from Flow Mazda of Charlottesville this month. This was my first ever brand new car, as I have always purchased used cars that were about 2 - 3 years old. This was the best car buying experience of my life and in huge part to Ray Jordan, the Flow Mazda dealer. Not only was he professional, attentive and knew such detail about the Mazda line of vehicles, but he listened to me and my husband and was not at all pushy in any way. We feel that given the current market for used versus new cars, we got an amanzing deal on our 2021 Mazda CX-5. Ray took the time to answer all of our questions in detail, including all of the cars features. We had a great (and educational) test drive as he highlighted many of the cars safety and maneuvarability features.After we purchased the car, he spent well over an hour with me to go over all of the technology, safety and operational features. While I am generally quite comfortable with technology, I have never owned a car with this level of technology, and Ray took the time to make sure I understood everything, even taking the time to help me register my car with the MyMazda app on my iPhone and how to use it.Again, I cannot say enough good things about this Flow Mazda Dealership and about the exceptional and supportive customer service that we received from Ray Jordan! I went to all of the dealerships in Charlottesville and Flow Mazda was by far was the best. Previously owning a Mazda 3, I knew that I would probably like the Mazdas the most but I wanted to keep my options open. Not only did the car sell itself but I had the BEST experience with Ray Jordan. As someone that is in the hospitality field for work, I was extremely satisfied by the service that I received with Ray. He did not pressure me into buying like all of the other dealers and he is so friendly! This dealership seems kinda sketchy. My partner and I tried to buy a car from them twice. And both times they stopped communicating with us after scheduling a test drive and the cars we wanted disappeared. Its like every time theyd try to sell the car out from underneath us even though we had appointments. And the worst part is they stop communicating with us entirely. No responses to calls or texts at all. Do not do business with this dealer unless you want them to give you the cold shoulder. I wouldnt want to imagine what the customer service is like after they have your money since they dont even try to sell you a car at all!

This was a beyond amazing experience!! I worked with Dillion, Antonio and Todd and they couldn’t have been better! 0, and I mean 0 haggling, but they were fully open to negotiation as I was buying a used car. The place lacks appeal. The vehicle was not repaired at my choice. They did not work hard enough to get Easy Care to cover the repair or Mazda who has a history of coolant breaking down and causing issues with the heater core. And on top of that they damaged the cars door handle. They attempted to half wash the car. I am now waiting for a call back to see if they got Easy Care to replace my radio bluetooth,navigation system..buttons are sticking. So my first visit was not at all what I was expecting from a new car dealership.

I realize all I am doing is echoing much of what every reviewer seems to say here. Ray (sales guru) and Todd (sales manager) at Flow Mazda are just absolutely top notch! I am probably not the easiest customer to work with because I am so particular about what I desire in my vehicles. However, between Todd and Ray, they really did try to move mountains to get me what I want. Losing out on a purchase with them was entirely my fault because I couldnt make up and mind and didnt act fast enough. My hope is that what I want will come along and I can still find a sweet spot on price with these guys. One thing I can say, if it is any way possible for me to do business with these guys, I wont hesitate to do so and would recommend that anyone come see these gents! They wont disappoint in customer service and professionalism in any way.Side note: Shawn Ayers (big manager) is an incredibly nice guy and you can tell his attitude towards customers and his culture towards professionalism is absorbed by everyone who works for him. The Flow line of dealerships here in Charlottesville exhibit best practices and set the bar for how car buying should be done!

I just purchased a 2021 CX-9 from Dillon at Flow Mazda. The entire experience was easy and low-pressure. My previous buying experiences have been marred with the annoying back-and-forth, where the salesperson repeatedly reports to his/her manager during the negotiation-dance.This does not occur at Flow Mazda. The pricing was transparent, and at no point was there a private meeting between the employees. Further, there was no use of scare-tactics to convince me to buy endless warranties and protection plans. They simply presented the options and allowed me to make the decision.I highly recommend giving Flow Mazda a look if you are in the market and want a low-stress experience.

Took my car for a recall on the airbags, outside of a dent on the car, I dont have any mechanical problems. After picking up the car, and on the way home the car kept cutting off, and also noticed that my hood wasnt closed completely. was handled. Battery cables should have been tighten and hood shouldve been closed.

I had to bring my vehicle in for a recall. Setting up the appointment was easy and whom ever I spoke to was patient as my schedule is very tight. When I arrived for my appointment the receptionist was so nice and let me use a desk for my physics homework. The place is clean, great coffee/tea, clean bathrooms, etc. The service crew does a complementary anterior wipe down too. Again the receptionist was so nice. Thank you.

This was the worst experience in leasing a new car. The dealership is over an hour away, and I thought I was getting a great deal. However, it just wasn’t worth it. The initial contract was done incorrectly. I called the dealership and they admitted it was wrong and would send out the paperwork ASAP. Later phone calls were ignored and put straight to voicemail. I could never again reach their sales manager, even though I could hear him on the phone in the background. I later got a letter saying my loan was denied, which it was not. A few more calls and perhaps things are sorted out? I have no idea. I actually don’t even have a copy of anything about the transaction. I left without any paperwork(that’s my fault, I should have demanded it, but they assured me I’d get it in the mail the next few days) and a few weeks later still do not have anything. The car is terrific, but do yourself a favor and find a different dealership. They clearly don’t know what they’re doing,

Great people. They are honest friendly and fair. They offer suggestions but are not high pressure. They work with you to get the exact service you want. Every time I presented a coupon they had a special that was a larger savings. Unlike the doctors office they take your car at the time of your appointment, offer you a comfortable waiting area or shuttle around town. Bought my CX5 here 18 months ago and had great customer service. I knew what I wanted and what I should pay and Ray was excellent. That’s where the good story ends. The customer service in the service department simply sucks! I live an hour and a half away and have twice driven over for “Mazda” service unnecessarily. When calling to schedule you don’t even speak to someone locally, it’s a call center in NC! Then when I arrived-both times!-my service wasn’t even on their books. Then I was told I just need an oil change and tire rotation! Did I mention I drove an hour and a half, on a Saturday morning!? I have a local place that does oil change and tire rotation. I highly recommend Mazda vehicles! I loved working with the sales team here. But if you can avoid there service department, avoid it. And yes, I’m sitting in their parking lot posting this so I have not gotten over being angry!

Last August I stopped by Flow Mazda to look at some of the used SUVs they had out front. Raymond Jordan came out to greet me and listened carefully to what I was looking for. He had me test drive several vehicles and quickly realized I might like the CX-5 lease that was just turned in. He was absolutely right and I love it! The buying process was friendly, easy, and professional. Ray is a very kind, patient, knowledgeable person. We discussed several makes of small SUVs to determine which one would be best for my needs. Ive had the car now over 10 months and its wonderful.Fast forward to today. About a week ago I took the car in for its first oil change (7200 miles). When I picked up the vehicle I was told it had 15% tire life remaining. This was concerning as I remembered having to wait an extra few days while they said they were putting on new tires back in August. I e-mailed Ray to ask about this and he reviewed his notes along with the managers notes at time of sale. Well, they didnt tell me at the time that the car didnt need new tires after all, but because of this miscommunication, they offered to give me the new tires now at no charge. I was so happily shocked! The tires put on the car are the same ones recommended for the Mazda CX-5. I am SO impressed that an auto dealership would be so honest and generous to a customer. This speaks volumes about their reputation. I feel very confident taking my car to Flow for service.I am so happy to have met Ray Jordan at Mazda and highly recommend you give him a call if you are looking for a new or used car. He will work with you with Flows company of Mazda, Volvo, Audi, Porsche and used cars.

We have not bought a brand new car in 36 years. We were very apprehensive about taking this step. We did our research and decided that a Mazda was for us. We went to Flow because it was the nearest Mazda dealership. Ray Jordan was our salesman and he was fantastic. He showed us what we asked to see. He never tried to pressure us into anything. He was VERY knowledgeable about the cars we drove. We were there later in the evening on a Monday because we went to the dealership after work. He and George Hornsby stayed way past closing time in order to serve us. They made our transaction very easy and enjoyable. We were very pleased with the car and the price! We now have a cute, but sporty, candy-apple red Mazda3! We are very happy! I would highly recommend Flow Mazda of Charlottesville.

I loved my experience at Flow Mazda of Cville. Sean and Kendrick were straight up with me, not pushy in anyway, and overall nice people to purchase a vehicle from. Sean was very knowledgeable about the vehicle I purchased (CX-5) and personally walked me through some of its sweet technology features. April 25th, 2019 was something of a milestone for me- I purchased my very first Mazda! After literally months of research, I finally managed to weed out all other contenders. Then came the task of finding the right dealership. After more research, I decided Flow Mazda in Charlottesville, VA was the right one for me. As it happens, I met with Ray Jordan at Flow Mazda. The week before the 25th I test drove a 2018 Mazda3 with an automatic transmission- and I KNEW that was the car for me (only, with a manual transmission).I found the atmosphere and employees at Flow Mazda to be relaxed, friendly, easy, and no pressure. Ray Jordan was immensely helpful, knowledgeable, and patient. As the 2019s were already available and 2018s had all been previously built (but still available), Ray had his work cut out for finding a new 2018 with a manual transmission, color and package I wanted. But he found one, they got it to the dealership for me in great time, and its PERFECT!I can say without any depredations that my experience with Flow Mazda and Ray Jordan was absolutely top-shelf. Our experience here was awesome! We had found information on their website about a used 2012 Mazda 3, but no recent pictures of it. I messaged them about seeing some pictures, and they got back to me with new pictures within about 45 minutes. They also answered every question I had asked. Sean was the person who helped me with everything. After talking to him about a few different models of Mazdas, we decided that we were not going to purchase a vehicle. They were EXTREMELY HELPFUL and patient with me. They did not push anything, but rather asked what I needed/wanted in a car. So, thank you Sean with Flow Mazda for an awesome experience. Recently, while I was shopping for a vehicle, I worked with the sales staff at Flow. In a world of pushy, annoying car salespeople, the team at Flow is a refreshingly low key, no nonsense group. Dillon Stone was the salesman who helped my family and me out, letting us take a spin in a couple of cars, answering our questions, and working hard to track down the specific model and trim we were after. We all commented later that Dillon was the easiest salesman to work with that we had encountered in our whole day of car shopping. We felt like he was really trying to find us what we wanted instead of push us into something just to make a sale. I highly recommend you visit Flow, especially is you hate the usual pushy car shopping experience at other dealerships, and ask for Dillon.

So very impressed with the Service Dept. for a diagnostic test on our 2010 Mazda 3s. Our contact person was Danielle. She is knowledgable, efficient and kindly professional. Shuttle service appreciated. Waiting room very clean and well stocked. Best part was that the major repair we dreaded having done was not necessary at all. Somehow (kids playing in car?) a button had been pushed and activated a warning light. FLOW did not invent something wrong. Reset button and good to go! Thank you FLOW for protecting us from our own ignorance!
