The Metal Supermarket had exactly what I needed and Jarvis was able to help me get what I was looking for, he was very helpful and friendly. He also mentioned the scrap bin which will likely have me going back Metal Supermarkets once I have a new project.

Decent prices, and I like that, as a DIY guy, I can buy small amounts of metal, cut to spec. Unfortunately, sometimes they put the larger orders ahead of mine and its several days before I can get an order. There are other places further away (but with better prices) that Ive had to use because of this.

Were extremely lucky to have this place in Charlotte. Was using steel mills before, and they were great as well, but I dont have to buy unneeded lengths here. Craig has went out of his way to ensure my orders are right.

Tried to get a quote from Brenda B. Morgan (outside sales manager). What a mediocre and lazy service. Im not a construction connoisseur and needed more guidance, dont expect to get quality service there, will try to get in touch with someone else that cares about their job in there.

Glad I found this place. As a hobbyist and diy automotive guy this is the perfect place for metal. They custom cut steel to the exact size saving me money and time. Don’t waste your time at Lowe’s to buy steel bar plate or any other metal.

They were very easy to work with and fast. Cut up my order in 15 minutes or so, packaged it and had me load it. I would certainly shop there again.

Ive been searching for weeks for a short piece of an odd size pipe. These guys had it cut and waiting for me the next day ! While there they cut some 4 flat bar as well. Most shops wont do small piece work. This place has everything for fabrication youll ever need. Super friendly and helpfull attitude. I arrived near closing. Instead of well have it for you tomorrow it was hang out for a min and Ill have a guy cut it.

Ive tried to give this place several chances. 9 times out of 10 if I put an order in it isnt ready when I get there. I call ahead and they say its ready so I send one of my guys up to pick it up and they end up sitting around for an hour while they get it ready. Time is money and aside from wasting my companies time they also charge more than most steel suppliers in town. The last order I put in I asked for 4 pieces of 1/2 x 3 flat bar to be cut down to 10 foot sections. They were cut to 10 1 and on the 4th piece they tried to give my employee a few drops that totaled 10. Instead of letting me know they simply just threw it on the order and I had to send my employee back to get a refund. Poor customer service and Im just overall unpleased. Ill take my business elsewhere.
