Advertise that they have a product and confirm on the phone that they have it but when we come in they say “we have to hold that for restaurants” if that’s the case why tell me you have it for sale? Also I saw a customer ask “did you give me my discount” and the cashier apply some sort of discount which is 100% illegal. Great stuff.

Eric and the entire staff are professional, polite, and go beyond willing to help. Always greeted when entering and a good selection of liquor.

Customer service is not consistent. The associate I interacted with was rude in telling me that something was not in stock at their store. She stated,”there is a sign on the door,” now I did not see said sign saying they were out of the product, because someone opened the door for me. The problem is not only with my experience, but the experience for others, because even in 2020 there are people that drink or purchase gifts for people from the ABC Store, and these buyers may not be able to read so for her to refer back to a sign on a door when a simple we are out would do, shows she has no interest in the value of consumer consumption. I went to another ABC store off of Colony Rd where the associate was more than happy to offer another suggestion, as well as letting me know there was a shortage on the product I wanted.

This location simply has some of the best people PERIOD! Every time i go into this store im met by friendly & helpful staff. If youre tired of the poor service & lack of staff willing to help you or even answer simple questions, this is the place. i drive 9 miles out of my way to shop here & id drive even further. The manger should be proud of the entire staff. Keep up the great work!!

Great place for spirits. Its a clean well stocked store with ample parking. Its handicap accessible. This store is surrounded by restaurants retailers grocers and convenience stores with gas its also near the Expressway.

Maybe they don’t have the biggest selection of varieties of liquor, but you can find the basics. Staff is friendly and helpful. Some are knowledgeable and will offer good choices if you want to try something new.

They were full stocked with a big variety and great customer service. They were also quick in the check out process. The parking lot could use some more lights out there.

Felt weird, all of the liquor stores are named Mecklenburg ABC Spirits. Its like Im in an episode of the Twilight Zone lol. The stores are small but they do offer a nice little selection.

So its Saturday evening and my wife and I just finish a hike in the Nature Preserve. Im thinking I would like to make a drink so we haul up to ABC Store #23 before they close. I wait in the long line until finally Elaine, an older lady, calls me up to checkout. She looks at my ID, gives me a weird look, and asks if Ive been drinking today. I laugh and say no but shes not convinced. I dont know if it was the sort of genius that comes from watching Murder She Wrote or just the general wisdom that comes with age, but she knew Id been boozing. Except I hadnt...I drink maybe once a month. She denies me service without testing my sobriety in any way. I talk to her Manager, Brandon,who says they are only not allowed to discriminate based on race or religion. So I leave with a good story to tell my wife in the car, who is surprised Elaine let me drive away thinking I was drunk. Haha! Interesting experience. So yeah, 1 star.

This ABC store is one of the busiest, yet the most efficient ABC in Charlotte imo. The lines during weekends or holidays are generally 20 people long yet you never spend more than 5 minutes in line. Theres usually a police/security guard in the store with his gun. The only drawback is that parking at this location is a bit weird and generally lots of cars zooming past in the small parking lot.

Great selection good prices but was discriminated by the sales clerk because I was from out of state visiting and had a Ohio State Id. And was humiliated when he asked when he asked where my drivers license was. And Im not able to drive due to this. He was very unprofessional about it
