Very dirty/unhygienic. Very little products on display. There were many broken and non functional devices as well. Employees stood around with loud music staring at everyone as if we were going to steal what little was on display
STAY AWAY from this place! HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE ! Untrained, unprofessional, rude, loud mouth MANAGERS”! I’ve done business with many of the other Charlotte locations for YEARS and this location is by far the WORST! Deals are not bad, it’s the RUDENESS and UNPROFESSIONAL attitudes and demeanor of the staff! Looking forward to doing with business with their competitors now since CASH AMERICA can’t seem to train their “managers” well. No wonder they change staff so often. One star is only because I have to choose it, but definitely TERRIBLE place to shop at!
Every time I go here I usually get a good deal and they make sure the item works...kind of...just turning on.But everything Ive gotten lasted me a looooong time until my siblings break it. But overall a good place recommended.
Didn’t buy anything or pawn anything, but everything was over priced. Some of their jewelry and electronics are at almost new prices. Was watched in the store like we were there to steal something too. Weird place, no customer service.

Had an emergency come up and wanted to payoff a $700 TV on layway with a warranty and I requested a full refund. The man named Harold said I would be charged a restocking fee even if TV was paid off. I asked to speak with a manager and Dale was not much help either he was determined to get that restocking fee when I told him that I was able to get a full refund at another Cash America but he gives me the store policy change excuse. Also they lied about the restocking fee they charge I was told it was $34 and they charge $73. Ive been a loyal customer at the store for almost thirteen years and this is how they treat people. Will never shop here again!

I avoid this location like the plague. Manager narcissistic with GED knowledge. He is his biggest fan. Employees can’t calculate gold values - if 3 step basic math of division and multiplying can’t be comprehended continue employee search. I was sold 14k gold ring and their other locations confirmed was barely testing for 10k. Sub woofer on display blown-layaway I was not clear on policy so I lost every cent I put toward my mother in laws Mother’s Day gift. I went to pick up apparently a wk later than allowed and when I inquired about purchasing outright I was told it had already been sold. If this franchise cares about its reputation and future they need to send some “secret shoppers” there multiple times because their reputation and credibility hurts other locations. Which they aren’t much better, I guess you don’t have to have training, knowledge, desire to learn trade or motivation to work for cash America. Way to go!
The need to hire people who has knowledge on gold... The Young Hispanic girl need some training and education on gold. Everyone who entered the store with gold; she said it wasnt real. Even what I bought from them wasnt real let her tell it. So you mean to tell me yall sold me some fake jewerly... No maam. She didnt do no real testing, no liquid no scratch test or nothing. Other than testing the diamonds, her mouth drop to see how big the diamonds was and they was real but the band fake...lol.... very young and need to go back to retail cashiering or fast food. I went right down the street and got the help I needed... And everything was tested the appropriate way and came out real and I came out happy.
Customer service is horrible...guy by the name of chris to be exact.stood in the store 15 min asked him to get an item he says he cant do it and i had to wait on the other associate while he stands there...his attitude is not that of the other cash Americas...i will never go back

Only because u HAVE to put a star In order to leave a review. The manager dale is VERY uneducated. Tried to get a loan for my iPad. I wasted 30-45 minutes in the store because he told me I had to delete everything off my iPad In order to get a loan (first time hearing this) everyone who works with Apple knows that after resetting you have to have a Apple ID to sign into the device, after spending time resetting everything it was like brand knew another young lady told me that i needed to sign back into my account in order to give me a loan to see if it was working. A lot of back and forth and time WASTED!!!
