If youre planning a date to propose and need an engagement ring I recommend going somewhere else. On the day that I purchased the ring, they said it would be ready in three weeks.After waiting four weeks and not hearing anything, I called and they told me the ring would be in the following week. Waited a week and after not hearing anything they said it would be in by Friday.Friday came and went and again no ring and no phone call.By the time I finally got the ring a total of six weeks had passed and had already spent money on trips that were planned to propose.Bottom line, dont expect your ring to be in when they say and dont expect any updates on delays either.

Went into Diamonds Direct to look at engagement rings with no idea on what to expect. I was blessed to have been helped by Lana and she told me what the different options were and what to look for in a diamond. Im biased but Ive never seen a more beautiful engagement ring than the one my fiance made at Diamonds Direct. But beyond the quality, the service that comes with a ring purchase is outstanding. I am pretty rough with my ring because I never take it off and work out daily, and I managed to loosen one of the diamonds. The process to mail it to be fixed was so easy. Diamonds Direct mails you a FedEx label and it gets shipped to them, shipping paid. My ring was returned within a week. I just opened the return box, and it was good as new. They even made it special again by putting it in a new box and including a pen that cleans my ring. I just opened the return box with my engagement ring. It is stunningly perfect! We went in to upgrade my diamond for our 10 year anniversary. Asim was our salesperson and we couldn’t be happier that he was. This is, hands down, the best place I have ever done business with. They ALWAYS have been fair (over quite a few years). They have deal honestly, and they have treated us like family. Their selection is super, and they have the unique ability to access stones and designers few other places can only dream about. It would be foolish for me to consider going elsewhere!

Only care if you are there to spend money. They will bend the rule if it get you to buy their product other than that you are not a valued customer. So last week me and my wife was there to buy a ring and it did not fit. So the sale rep said he can get it resize but it would be a 2 hour wait. We did not have time at that time so he told us that we can come back anytime for the resize. Today we came back for the resize and they told us it would be a 2 week wait time. I told the customer service that the sale rep told me to come back anytime to get it resize. She then went and talked to him, came back and said that he can only offer the 2 hour wait at the time of sale. Basically what he meant was we took your money already so you people can wait two week for the resize. Not his problem anymore. Again this place only value you if you are there to spend money. If they already have your money they can care less about your problem. They will not get another cent from me that for sure.

Asim is an absolute angel! Not only did he help me pick out the perfect ring to remember our baby gone too soon, but when I came back a week later because one of the stones was loose, he went above and beyond to make it right. Because he knew our story, he assured me that my ring would be fixed the same week, despite there being a nearly 3 week waiting period. Husband purchased a sapphire tennis bracelet and MATCHING earrings for me. The bracelet was a little too big so we left it to have a couple links taken off. Returned to pick it up and they tried to give us a totally different bracelet! Had to show them the one we purchased, then waited an additional 2 weeks, only to find out that it was again the wrong bracelet! I guess they thought I wouldnt notice since they comp¹ed us a pair of earrings made from the links removed from the bracelet. Double shame on you d.d.!

So I only picked up a pair of $250 earrings as a just because gift. I have bought similar earrings in the past elsewhere that were not as good for around $800. But the service I received you would have thought I was spending over 100K. So I will be back to Diamonds Direct Charlotte from Seattle to get that 26th Anniversary gift. Unfortunately my experience has brought down the rating rather than the product.I had purchase an Engagement ring from Diamonds Direct unknown to my now Fiancé. The initial picking process was pretty good, my jeweler was able to find and show me the ring I had been imagining. I was told they would contact me when the ring was ready so I made sure to save all the numbers on the card they gave me in case my finance was with me when they called. Fast Forward a few weeks later and I am driving with my Fiancé around 6:30 PM. I get a call from an unsaved number and I answer it through my cars Bluetooth. When I answer, the jeweler immediately says Hello, this is BLANK, from Diamonds Direct. Your Ring is ready to be picked up. I quickly interrupted and said I would call back later but the damage had been done. I told my Fiancé that it was a gift for her birthday but it was obvious the True intention.My frustration comes not from the ring, because she loves it, but because they called me from a number that wasnt listed on their card. They also didnt ask if I was alone and immediately said my ring was ready.I am disheartened because this is a once in a lifetime experience and an aspect of it was tarnished because of this.Diamonds Direct, please come up with a better way of communicating to customers when it is something this sensitive. Can even be something as simple as a code word or emailing rather than calling. I just dont want this to happen to anyone else.

Nice showroom, great selection, great security. I worked with Shawn the gemologist and he was excellent. Shawn was very knowledgeable, a great listener, very patient, and helpful in sorting through all the options. After some searching we found a beautiful stone that met my criteria, a beautiful setting, and agreed on a very fair price. I highly recommend Shawn.

We waited for 40 minutes and no one helped us. They helped 2 different couples that walked in after us. This is also not the first time this has happened.

I’ve been in this store twice to try to find a matching wedding band and every time they are pushy sales people. They didn’t even ask my budget. All they only care about today’s big sale event. They don’t care if you bought your engagement ring from them, they still give you horrible service. My ring is difficult to pair with and both sales reps did not help nor did they help me size my ring. Horrible store, horribly run. You are just money to them.

She is super sweet, down to earth, and extremely knowledgeable when it comes down to it. She truly cares about bringing your dream pieces to life. If you ever get the chance to design a piece with Trace, do it!
