I had flooring installed because as a caregiver it is easier to keep the floors clean. In three months the floor is buckling tile peeling the border between the kitchen and foyer has come unglued I called to get the problem fixed. I never got a call back from anyone to come look at the floor. Have to call again to get this fixed.I’m surprised at the unprofessional attitude shown towards this problem.

Installation was a disaster, these people have no respect for customers time. Was supposed to be morning appointment, didnt show up until 2 then couldnt finish because their tool broke so promised to return first thing next morning. It is 10am and no show. They left my top step with carpet hanging over it kind of like a slide, very dangerous especially because my husband uses a prostetic leg and need stability. On the lower steps the carpet tacks are exposed so I cant put my 16 month old down.

They never call before coming and randomly show up one morning.I was out doing something when they showed up. I give them a call back less than 30 minutes later. They tell me they are not coming back and it will be two weeks.Your company is a joke and your customer service is nonexistent.

Had a great experience! Dave was our sales consultant and he knew what we wanted. Clearly knows what he’s doing. Didn’t sell me the most expensive thing in the store. Told him what I was looking for and he made it happen. Miguel and his team was so efficient. They took all the right steps and got the job done in a timely fashion. Highly recommend!

Empire makes the sales then they contract the work out different workers. My first experience was great. The last experience was hell just like others states they had to reschedule due to lack of materials, when they arrived two weeks later he broke something in the floor . I had to pay for a Plummer 320.00. Trust me don’t use them. You never know who they are going to send to your home. I went through hell.

Do NOT use them!!! They came and installed my new carpet this past Saturday. We were waiting to have our walls finished before we installed carpet. They scratched, chipped and wrecked my walls and trim. They also make us install the metal strips that separate the rooms ourselves because they didn’t have any liquid nails. I called and said I was pretty shocked how much damage occurred during the installation. A women called me beginning of this week apologizing, mentioned some sort of refund and said someone else would be contacting me. Crystal called me yesterday to say no refund and this damage is normal and to be expected during carpet installation. Oh and sorry you had to put down your own metal strips. They could care less! I have pictures if anyone wants to see before they decide to give this company money!

I have been using Empire Carpet and Blinds for twenty years. They always give superior service. The new carpet in my upstairs is so beautiful and lush that sometimes I just lay there a meditate. Consistently professional whether in their store or bringing samples to my home. They handle everything with little work on my part. For someone as busy as I am that is important. We are currently getting our sons townhouse ready for rental. We were ready to install new carpet. But Randy the owner said to just give it a deep steam clean and he would send and employee to stretch it. Wow did I ever save the money on that one. You can bet when we are ready to place it in a couple of years that Empire Carpet and Blinds will be the ones to do it. I just bought carpet for three rooms and I just have to tell you I had the best experience ever. The salesman, Tim was very attentive. He listened to my requirements and showed me just what I needed for my home and the installers were the best. I will definitely will be going back again.

All the bad reviews here have to be for the Empire company with all the dopey commercials. Angies list has great reviews for this company, and I can attest to that. I used them to install LVP flooring and carpet on my stairs and it looks amazing. The price was very fair, and the quality of installation was exceptional. They came when they said they would, they finished when they promised even though I nearly had to change the dates on them when my closing appeared to be off schedule. I will be using them again very soon for my bathrooms and some shutters. The guys are very knowledgeable and will help educate you on the best choices for your project. Ive had friends use the Big Box stores for carpet installation, and not a one of them were happy with the installation. Use a professional company like this one to get the result you want. They carry all the names youve heard of, but they also have other brands that are smaller (therefore a smaller advertising budget) but offer better quality products at a better price point.

Hard working staff, polite, but a little robotic in demeanor. Product is sufficient, nothing special but is functional.

We have used them several times now for both residential and commercial. We have had excellent experiences. Estimates were given promptly and the specified materials were always used. Prices have been spot on for the work. One of the first jobs was a very difficult install on an open staircase. Lots of angles, lots of trim and lots of open ends. The finished job was like a work of art.The most recent hire was a recarpet of an office. The crew was on time as usual and worked fifteen hours straight to do the tear out all the way to the end. When Arturo called me at 10:30pm for me to come and lock up, they had cleaned up and even moved most of the furniture back.We will certainly use them again and have added them to our approved contractor list for our commercial properties. We had wood floors installed and are happy with the experience from start to finish. Salesman was helpful and friendly, wood was delivered and floors were installed quickly. The installers worked hard and did a beautiful job!

Ordered blinds for entire new home. After only one year, blinds broke. Went into store and was told very rudely by Manager?? that No way were they going to fix blinds In fact, he said U can fix it yourself He went on to say another lady called in with the same problem and he told her the same thing. EMPIRE WOULD NOT FIX BLINDS!!! THEY DID WANT MY MONEY UP FRONT WHEN I ORDERED BLINDS ONE YEAR AGO. WILL NEVER DO BUSINESS AGAIN WITH EMPIRE.!!! dOES NOT DESERVE ANY STARS, BUT WOULD NOT LET ME POST WITHOUT A STAR

Fair prices and outstanding installers. Much better value than the box stores.

Cancelled on the morning of installation due to not having material on hand to complete job. Informed us that the next available date was three weeks later, which was past the deadline that we had discussed to begin with. Agreed to come instead in a couple of days to install flooring but upon arrival informed my wife that they couldnt remove the old flooring due to environmental concerns, which had already been discussed as well with salesman. I had to leave my job twice to go home and replace kitchen furniture that I had removed to help the installers out. I would be very careful when dealing with Empire. It was a small job, i understand, but Empire contacted me, through Home Advisors, I didnt contact them. I dont blame the install crew that finally came out, but the salesman and Empire. Wont give them a second look for anything that they have to offer again.

Looking for a particular brand they carry. Sales person told us he would contact the company rep. Empire never called us back.

Did not wear a mask during Covid

We went into the store today to get a quote for carpet for a bedroom. The salesman was not very nice, and gave us a quote, then walked away to talk to another customer before we could make an order or ask any other questions. Never asked if we wanted to make a purchase, or look at anything else, just turned his back to us. Not sure if he didnt want to spend the time with us because it was a small, inexpensive job, or what. We went to Carpet and Flooring Liquidators on South Blvd. instead and they were awesome! Ordered for this job and two more. Will never use Empire because of this experience.

They are extremely professional. They went overboard to provide exactly what we needed for our project. We will definitely be back.

Met with sales rep for a quote and was excited about getting my floors done I paid my deposit, checked my acct later that day to make sure what I authorized was withdrawn to find out an additional amount had been taken out without my permission. Contacted them about this issue and was told it will take 7-10 days to refund my money. You took my money in 7-10 mins but I have to wait days for a refund. ..UNACCEPTABLE!!!!
