I went to the store on South Boulevard and the store manager was very rude to my grandson. My grandson was throwing a small foam football to his brother which is 2 and the store manager told him to stop throwing the ball before he broke something. My grandson which is 2 was sitting in the cart. I will not be back to this store because that was very uncall for. He better be glad I didnt hear him because it wouldve been very ugly. My daughter told me what he said

Great staff. Theyre all Maine new but management was around for help, they are going through a reset and trying to find help these days is almost impossible so I dont blame them at all for having to wait a few minutes for My balloons. Alot of these reviews are forgetting that.

The store was very messy. The customer service was sub par. The staff was slow and messed up.

It is so obvious that businesses cant get help. The store was dirty, aisle covered in unopened boxes, no merchandise on racks. Ive been before but this trip was sad and got nothing 😔

Balloons are BIG in 2020!Definitely order your balloon arrangements online for in-store pickup! Stood in line for a long time to get to a register, then had to tell them the numbers of the balloons you want, and then it was going to be a 45 min wait for them to produce the bouquet with all the orders ahead of you.If you order online, you can come into the store and go to the first register and get your balloons quickly. That is the way to go! They are very busy. And this was a week day around noon. Need more balloon artists...Beautiful balloons and well prepared, and the store is well stocked with all your party needs, in all the colors.

Not my favorite PC but the closest to my house. I rarely find what Im looking for here. Customer service could use some work as well. Maybe once were through Pandemic PTSD folks will get back to customer care.

Absolutely the worst customer service anywhere. I ordered my balloons on line for curbside pickup. I received confirmation that they would be ready on time. I waited at curbside pick up for 15 min. I then went inside to get them and the person working at balloon pick up left and never came back. Finally someone asked if they could help me and my balloons were not ready. I waited another 5 min and finally someone came from the back to finish my order. They then hung them back on the shelf and left. I had to ask if that was my order. I finally got to leave with my pre-paid order. Absolutely a terrible experience.

The store was nice and clean. Well lite and organized. The staff was friendly, helpful and greeted me right away. They well stocked and the staff knew where everything was located! Much better than the northlake location!

Very disappointing visit today. First time here. Dirtiest Party City Ive been to. Maybe due to pandemic, but the shelves were over half bare. Finally settled on a few things, including one balloon in a bag I needed blown up. Waited in line for 15 mins..... Only 2 people in front of me. I asked the employee at the balloon counter if I needed to pay for my balloon first. She said yes, then proceded to tell me there was a 3 hr wait. I asked- For one balloon!? Yes, she confirmed. I her being short staffed, I do. But I didnt have some large order I was throwing at them. I dropped all my stuff and left. Wont be back here.

One shop for all party supplies..

Went to pick up some supplies for a party and I had to ask the employee of the store was going out of business. The majority of the shelves were empty! Couldnt find any of what I needed. This place looked like it was ransacked and management is waiting on an insurance claim.

Not staffed appropriately, they only have 2 people working behind the counter and there’s a line waiting on balloons and we were told that it’ll be 30 mins. How do you manage all that traffic with just 2 people?

I found what I needed.

One of the employees were assisting people with costumes and was respectful and attentive. The rest of the employees gave no eye contact while asking you if you needed help, they would ask in passing. Register, a young man was blowing up balloons but there was no one waiting on balloons. Another cashier was dealing with a customer who had a serious issue. The balloon employee finally came to the cashier, when i asked him question, again another employee gave no eye contact. He was VERY nonchalant on responding to my questions. When we were done he walked back to the balloons. Oh and it was another person standing behind me. He had her wait, while the other cashier was busy. Lack of prioritizing, customer service and knowledge of the store. Last and final time shopping at this location.

I went to look for my son a costume today. I Asked an employee for help...as were other customers needing help with the same thing..and we were quickly told by the employee that she was ‘off the clock and wasn’t going to help’. So completely rude. Said she was going to get someone else to help. She went up to the front, and never came back, nor did another employee. I finally went back to the front where the same employee was at the front standing there doing nothing behind the counter. I asked if anyone was going to come and help, and she said that there was only two other people there, and there’s a line. I immediately left and I’ll never be back. Amazon will get my money for costumes. ✌🏼

This store is a dumpster fire.The staff is rude and unprofessional.Waited in the balloon line for 20 minutes only to be told that we had to pay first.Took almost an hour to buy 4 balloons!

No staff empty shelves

Sad to say I couldnt manage to even get an order placed at this store. Called twice to place a balloon order for pickup and both times no one had capacity to help me and did not offer a better time to call back. That indicates to me to take my business elsewhere.

Line at the ballon stand took forever. So I just bought a helium tank and filled balloons myself. Friendly employees

Placed an order at 11:30 for 5:30 pickup. Not only were my balloons not ready on time, they tried to give the ones that only lasted 8 hours when I requested 24 hours. This was an order for my business so it was critical to me. Then they made me wait for in person service while taking other customers arrived after me. At a busy time such as New Years, I get it, but never neglect your customers. First come first served.

Great place for party favors

Honestly the customer service is the only reason why I gave party 3 stars. staff was great. but I went in for a few balloons got a pack of 6 a 30th bday pack and 3 single. with the blow up fee it cost almost $50!! absolutely ridiculous

Let me start by saying if I couldve I wouldve given zero stats. This is by far the worst store. Customer service is very poor. Everytime I have been here its been bad and is only been about 3 times. The employees never welcome you in nor help you. They dont speak till your in the line checking out. They arent nice at all. This location has low stock count. And somethings that other locations have this one doesnt. Its always crowded. I dont recommend this location to anyone. Its the closet to me but i rather travel else where.

Cashier kept ringing up 36 and 43 amount of $2 items...when the subtotal was over $700 for under $100 worth of stuff. If I hadnt noticed they would have charged me way too much!

Placed an order online for a 4yr old Birthday Party based off of what they said was in stock. Show up @ open the next morning after I got the ready email the night before; only to have the Manager tell me I just sent you an email letting you know all your items were not in stock. From his personal gmail account. Not an actual cancellation email. Also... MY PHONE # IS ATTACHED TO THE ORDER! You clearly see that it is kids Birthday items. A call would have been nice since it said it was in stock. He said he cancelled the order. He did not. Now the order has looked like it was picked up and still havent recieved my refund. Because I dont have a cancellation email.Its always low in stock. Always dirty, dingy, grimy, and dark. Always unorganized. YOU NEED BETTER MANAGERS !

The cashier was super rude. They had a half off table of Easter stuff but still insisted on charging me full price for the Easter M&Ms I got off that table. Also didnt have a price for one of the items I wanted to buy and asked me the price of it as if I work there instead of just having someone go check what it was. Ended up not even getting the item because the lady didnt believe me on what I said the price was. Will never be going to this Party City again!

They had what we were looking for...some balloons for my sons birthday. A bit overpriced for what they offer. The store is a bit dated and the bathrooms werent the cleanest. The cashier was friendly.

Came in on 9/15/18 to pick up some birthday balloons and I was not expecting a wonderful experience, but everyone was so nice and helpful!I left forgetting that there was a storm in route because the staff left me on cloud 9! Thanks :)

I enjoy coming to this store. Honestly i prefer this store over the other ones. They usually have the things i need. If they don’t i understand because they are the smallest party city around. They are in between a lot like downtown charlotte close to all the other party city stores . their location is set up to get jam packed . i went in during halloween it was very packed and line wrapped around the store. it took me 18 minutes to get through the line. They may sound like a lot but that was great compared to where i started. I never have a problem with the employees . They are always friendly and helpful to me .

The manager called me for n interview n when I called back over 32 times nobody wants to answer the phones. Its just ringing. I called a different store 2 ask about it n nobody knows anything . can someone send me an email. I love the store n would like to work there. This store isn’t even worth the 1 star. I went in looking for number balloons. The consultants didn’t even stop what they were doing to speak to me. Just asked what I needed and told me they were out in a very snobby tone. This was the downfall of my whole birthday. It might take a little bit to go back here.

They had what I was looking for so Im pleased with that...however, they were woefully understaffed and waiting in line at the register for over 8 minutes and I was second in line. I felt sorry for the ones after me that had to wait longer.

Good selection of party items. Service left much to be desired- ordered ballons over the phone two days in advance and they werent ready for pick up. They didnt have what we ordered in stock and noone thought to call us back to inform us and offer a substitution.

Awful buying experience. Came in on a Saturday and with my son. We were the only customers and it was like pulling teeth to try to get help. After an hour we got everything we wanted to buy together and went to check out. They ran my card 3 times saying the machine wasnt working on their end. I pulled my bank account in front of them and showed them that it was going through on my end. They then credited once. Said if I get double charged just come back later. Later I found out that I was double charged. Called them, got put on hold for 20 minutes then just hung up.. Called back, put on hold for 10 minutes. They refuted my claim and said to come in a prove the double charge. I called the bank and got them to credit since it was going nowhere with this company. Awful, awful service.
